Food was not at all good. Place was dusty.
Rooms are basic with one tiny wall fan. Gets really hot during day time.
The caretaker kept switching off the water tank lines so we had no water.
No hot water. The only good thing is that it’s close to most attractions and the private water stream.

Nice place for a relaxing getaway. Well maintained with comfy and clean rooms and wash rooms. Enjoyed the cool waters in the oya located in the property and easy access to to picturesque locations like Riverston and Pitawala pathana from the property. Thanks Lahiru and the team for the great hospitality.

There's good place to live…

Perfect place to be if you are gonna explore Riverston. Really calm environment and the hospitality will make you wanna stay at Riverston Hideway a day or two more. We were served mouth watering food and had a nice BBQ to close the day. Highly recommend this place if you want a hassle free service. Keep up the good work. Cheers!

Riverston Hideaway is a perfect place to hide from our busy lifestyles. The location was extraordinary serene and situated close to many landmarks in the area. Riverston Hideaway is equipped with modern state-of-the-art facilities and even offers facilities to play a game of carrom to relax our souls. The owner, Lahiru is very supportive from the initial booking to the checkout and also the caretaker is very friendly and offers high-quality services. Riverston Hideaway offers a menu with a variety of cuisines which are tasty and of good quality. Great location for a relaxing vacation. The drive upto the buglow was so scenic. Clean place with very friendly staff and simple tasty food. The owner, Lahiru was kind enough to accompany us to all the sites we visited. Loved the small private water fall adjoining the bunglow in which guests can enjoy a cool dip…

The place is new and clean, however we had some difficulties in arranging food even after prior notification, it seems their management needs to better understand the needs of clients.
