Private room was clean and modern however small and a bit noisy from the hallway. There was Wi-Fi troubles which were eventually fixed and good common areas to sit and chat. Breakfast was okay with fresh eggs on request. Location was near the tooth temple but not the train and bus stations. Fine for 1 night, might need more space if staying longer.

Perfect location, very clean comfortable. Bonus was the excellent shower! Great backpacking facilities and good value for money.

Nice building, clean and organized. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is simple, could have more fruits due to the price of the stay. I recommend, is well located, walking distance to restaurants, parks, bus stops, many stores and others tourist attractions.

I couldn't be happier to have stayed at Clock Inn Kandy during my 3 nights in the city. My room was absolutely wonderful, very modern, clean, and had all the necessary to have a very pleasant stay.
The breakfasts have also been great, had cereals milk, juices, tea and coffe, bread, jam, butter and you can also order fried eggs or omelette with sausages.
The staff is so friendly and they always have a smile on their face. They try to help you as much as possible, and that is really appreciated.
The location couldn’t be better either: right in the center, we could walk to so many places and we could also get a tuk tuk anytime we needed to go somewhere farther.
All together is a 10 out of 10 for me. I totally recommend it!

The hostel itself is nice but I'm pretty sure you could find something just as nice for cheaper. We booked a 5 bed capsule room which wasn't available when we got there so we got put into a 6 bed dorm where we were then told we were in the wrong bunks even though all 3 beds we were meant to be on were already taken.

We got a double room, which was pretty dirty, stains on the towel and sheet and the room had a really musty smell. The free breaky was toast, jam and freshly cooked eggs. The location was central, and easy to get to the local national park and sacred tooth temple. The Wi-Fi was only decent in reception, and the TV didnt work. The staff were helpful and friendly. For what we paid it was about what we expected.

Nice place to stay. Food is delicious and other accommodations were also great.

It is a nice hostel with good rooms and unique sleeping cells. But, the kitchen area is not well kept and is unclean. Please look into that.

It is a nice hostel for the money. Clean room, nice breskfast and, most of all, helpful and friendly staffs. Recommend it.

Amazing place. A great hostel to stay while in kandy. The crew is really friendly and you can ask them for any help. And they do that always with a smile. The rooms are neat and clean and the whole vibe of the place is amazing. Right in the heart of kandy.

It was nice. Like us, many foreigners travellers choose this place to stay. It is at the heart of city.

Great value for money here. Rooms are air conditioned and bathrooms are relatively clean. Beds are comfortable and staff are extremely friendly. Free breakfast is a plus — good spread available.

Awesome hostel. Do stay in Capsules. They are awesome. Private. Cheap. Best. I did face issue with Wi Fi though. Great views from Capsule floor.

Awesome choice. We stayed 2 nights in a private room and 1 night in the capsule and it was both amazing. Great tour guides, too.

Be careful with this fraudulent Hotel (Kandy)! We were charged twice without notice! My girlfriend paid in cash to the receptionist for her first night (i arrived later on), when we left they charged it again on my credit card (without notice, moreover the next day we left without authorisation or signature from me) Since then the Hotel declined that she paid by cash, and were acting to take care of this issue (during few days)! We are in contact with "booking" for this issue and we will let know to the maximum of travellers and travel agency about this fraud!

Perfect location, within walking distance from kandy centre and temple of the tooth. Free breakfast included in room rate. Clean rooms, friendly staff, also they offer capsule beds which I would recommend.

Nice place, realy good people!. The price is littel expensive for dorm room. The shower is for men and women together…

I slept in a capsule, which I was skeptical about at first, but it was quite comfortable. I also loved the breakfast. Plus, the location is good.

As with their sister hostel in Colombo, Clock Inn Kandy is value for money. Neat, clean and a yummy complimentary breakfast make it the best hostel options in Kandy and Colombo for short and long trips. The large community spaces ensure that you have an opportunity to meet some great people and not to step outside exploring that one odd day.

Really great hostel for what I would call glam Packers if you aren't worried about your budget and want the experience of a hostel this is the place to go, it's chic, extremely clean, the breakfast is great. There really isnt anything really wrong with this place at all. I'm gutted I missed out in staying in one of the capsules they have on the roof! Next time I will be though! Location wise it's pretty good, plenty of great amenities close by. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I love everything about this place! from the rooms, to the showers, the breakfast, the closeness of the place to everything (the temple, restaurants, train station, bus station), to the Mac PC and the staff.

We loved it, in The City Center and very close to everything. Very good Wi-Fi, budget rooms and with private or shared bathroom. It has breakfast and an area very well prepared for meals. We would definitely repeat. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cosy place. Breakfast is fine but typical. Staff should be little more friendly. Best place to stay if u are exploring the city.
