Very bad experience in quality of food served on pool side no taste at all It was on poson poya day. I had high expectations but disappointed.

Probably the place Iv visited most often in Lanka. Now with the assurance of the John Keells hospitality, the standards in terms of food, recreation, and service is commendable. Definitely will be back!

Beautiful venue, Delicious food and Great service Looking for a Destination Wedding location amidst the pandemic was a real pain in the neck. After looking at several locations we visited Victoria Golf & Country Resort and the moment we set foot on the premises we knew this was THE PLACE! The relaxed and professional approach of Mr. Rukman immediately laid to rest all the doubts as to where we would celebrate the best day of our lives. With Rukman, nothing was ever too much to ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. We would be failing in our duties, if we did not mention how Rukman saved the day for us. The Tiffany Chairs we ordered (from a well recognised vendor), were not suitable to be used for any event. We had already made up our minds about the chairs, when Rukman went way out of his way to change the chairs within a matter of 45 minutes which saved us from utter embarrassment. The service & venue apart, the food was top-notch. All of our guests had a wonderful time and couldn’t praise the venue, the food & the service enough. It was so lovely to see it all come together so beautifully on our day – and that is all down to you guys; Rukman, Bashana, Asanka & the team. This is my favorite place in Kandy. Surrounded by lush greenery and no words to express the beauty with Victoria reservoir… three years back I had my wedding at this beautiful place and one of my dream came true in outdoor and in 2017 the manager Mr Sampath was helped us a lot to success our event. Recently we had photo shoot for our baby in this beautiful place and current manager Mr Rukman and the staff helped us a lot to have a beautiful photo shoot … thank you so much Victoria golf club. Such a lovely place I never forget.

Good caddies but Lack of buggies. High chance you'll have to walk 18 holes with the caddy and a trolley. Plenty of flies whilst you dine otherwise all is good. Also met some random strangers who brought their entire lineage onto the green when we were about to tee off.

We had our outdoor wedding here on the 3rd of August 2018… Rukman the manager was outstanding and we recommend him and any property he is at… the rest of the staff were amazing too, so friendly and eager to help… the rooms were excellent with picturesque views of the Golf Course… The food was 5 star… I would recommend this property to anyone looking for event locations or even a getaway. Well done guys and keep up the amazing work!

Victoria golf club is really suitable for relaxation! It's really Clam place I ever visit! You can play golf! And there is a club house as well.

Absolutely gorgeous property. As a non member there is still access to the restaurant and other facilities. Yummy food. Great service. Friendly staff. Other facilities include cycling, lawn tennis, and swimming pool. Stunning location. Just beautiful!

Very scenic place. You can use Cinnamon Air sea plane to ride back to Colombo. Luxury villas with golf grounds and the view of Victoria Dam will make you surprise. The ground access to the Golf club is not good other than that overall it is a n excellent place to be.

Amazing hotel with a peaceful environment. Food is tasty. Nice view from pool and other places as well. Love the concept. Only issue is the road to golf club if they can do something about the road i’ll be visiting regularly.

Magnificent Place! Went for a wedding in the evening and the place was beautifully decorated. Spend the night at one of their villas and it's insanely beautiful. Views in the morning is jaw dropping. A must visit place when you are around and if you want to spend some quality time with your family and friends.

I visited Victoria golf club for the second time with family/ extended family with about 7 adults and 5 kids. We stayed at T26 villa which is wonderful place to stay and relax. There are many activities for whole family like site seeing, jogging, cycling, horse ride and Most importantly take golf practice session. For the first time we all played golf at a reasonble cost. Food was good. Its a set menu since we were the only group staying at resort. Staff was very helpful. I drove electric car and got free charging from them as EV club member. We all enjoyed the stay a lot and will visit the place again after the renovation for sure.

It was the place I chose for my wedding function and from the beginning the staff was very supportive and specially responsive with their amazing service. It wasn't easy to plan something over the phone and emails because me and my partner live in Australia but the staff made us feel that we were always close. Everything was discussed well and arranged according to our needs and on the date of the function, 20th of July 2017, they were amazing with their service providing the… best they could. The whole team worked so hard with dedication to make our special day the best. Special thanks to Mr. Sampath and Mr. Rukshan who handled everything and also the whole crew who gave their support. Thank you so much again and I must say that it was the best experience we had in Sri Lanka so far. Keep up the good work! Nuwie and Heshan-20th of July 2017

Awesome place to relax for family and for golf.

Not recommended at all.
If you are not going for Golfing please avoid this place. We had a very bad experience with their staff. They have no idea on how to treat Normal guests who come for relaxing. I went with my family and when we tried to take pictures of the scenery we were very impolitely asked to go away from the golf ground. We didn't even kept a step on the ground. Their security staff is just neighbors from near by village who have no idea on how to talk to a guest. And their house keeping staff is also the same who waited with towels in their hands from 11am in front of our cottage till we check out at 12 pm. We could hear them talking outside our cottage while we still had time. Very improfessional​ staff. Please avoid at any cost. I was surprised to find out that this property is affiliated with JKH. Given the service quality we receive at Cinnamon chains this is highly suprising.

Lovely palace and very relaxing environment. There are beautiful villas. Some are for rent and some are private. The two day stay was awesome…

A lovely golf course but I am not a golfer. And yet I loved it. It is green, it is huge and right in the middle of two rivers.

The most visually beautiful golf courses I have ever visited. Stunning views from all aspects of the course. Must be visited to be experienced — a real under utilized jewel in Sri Lanka.
