I can't say enough good things about the place, Ginganga Lodge, we recently got married. Excellent location, lovely inside space, lovely exterior garden space, lovely architecture, lovely view. The owner, Mr. Indika and the crew were great and extremely helpful throughout. The food was fantastic, exceeded expectations.

Best place to arrange any kind of event. Very nature friendly location. Specially want to mension that location goes well with nature. My gathering was so pleased about delicious foods, the surrounding and the friendly service. From the very first sight I wanted to make this as the place where I got to make my milestone in life. A place with a relaxation you may never can imagine on a holiday. Amazingly organized and clean, safe beautiful place with welcoming hospitality. Stayed there for few days and I loved every single day.

It is a fabulous place with an awesome vibe! The room was amazing with the cinnamon fragrance and all the antiques! And the open bathroom! To take a shower under the moon!

Everything is beautiful and amazing peaceful place. Dinner is a litte bit expencive (same as 5ster hotel…) So you may choose where you eat (galle city or the hotel restrant) after looking the menu.

This is the most wonderfull place I've been in Sri Lanka (it's my second time in Sri Lanka). The place looks magnificient and the owner and staff are absolutely great! The rooms are very clean and with a gorgeous outdoor shower. The food (breakfast, lunch and diner) are made in their open kitchen, are very well cooked and presented in the most beautiful way. Next time I visit Sri Lanka i'll stay longer then 3 days.

Absolutely stunning place! The rooms are large, clean and filled with lovely details. Most beautiful room we had during our stay. The staff is really helpful and the pool very nice. One of our favorite places in Sri Lanka! A little like paradise.

We just stayed 2 nights here — wish it was 7! What a fabulous place. So chilled and yet great service and so willing to make your stay perfect. Beautiful tropical gardens, designer rooms with amazing bathrooms, great food and a wonderful pool. Can't wait to return.

Retains nature but very inconvenient location with narrow entrance. It looks like a large walawwa type place. Also breakfast provided was limited though it was supposed to be on B&B basis. Overall, not a value for money place.

I highly recommend Ginganga Lodge. First, it is located about fifteen minutes outside of busy Galle — and that's a good thing. The lodge is quiet as a result, calm, the grounds are beautiful, and it is an easy place to relax. It is forested and there a variety of animals that make their homes here including monkeys, polecats, and an assortment of birds. I appreciate that they try to keep things environmentally friendly — solar heaters, no bottled water, etc. The management clearly put a lot of time into the design and its shows — rooms are spacious and comfortable with showers that let you look up at the stars, there is a common area which is lovely, and a small pavilion for massages in an open-air environment (book one day in advance), plus a pool. The staff are very friendly and can help with transportation to/from town, to your next destination or booking tours. Our first night here there was an epic seafood feast with traditional music and dancing. When you come through Galle, and you will come through Galle more likely than not when you visit Sri Lanka, thiis is a very good option. You will be a short ride to the historical sites (300 rupees) and can relax in the evenings without noise or commotion.

Stunning style hidden on the riverbank. Superb staff who looked after all our needs effectively. Spacious, luxurious rooms and grounds were immaculate. Great contemporary architecture and art.

I could not recommend Ginganga Lodge highly enough. An amazing place with wonderful, caring and attentive staff. Indika and dineshi are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. Amazing little piece of heaven.

Awesome secluded location, in a wild jungle/plantation setting only 15 minutes from the centre of Galle fort. Combines comfort with a truly authentic Sri Lankan experience. Wonderful pool and living pavilion, gorgeous rooms, quiet and surrounded by nature. A home from home for all ages.
