Stopped at Kalu’s Hideaway for lunch on our way to visit the Udawalawa Elephant Orphanage, and it was truly a memorable experience.

Quiet but loads of hidden gems — for instance their gardens which provide their chefs with amazing vegetables for the dishes prepared on site.

I booked an hotel and owner didn’t pick up my call for hours. So I called this hotel in the middle of the night. The owner welcomed us with so much love.

We only stayed one night at the lovely Centauria Wild but it was wonderful. Beautiful rooms, people, food, facilities and easy access to the park. I also treated myself to a massage with Dr Seetha.

I recently stayed at this Resort for New year for 1 night. The resort is located close by the main road and it is very convenient to access.

A beautiful resort with luxury tents that meet all your needs. The surroundings are stunning, and everything is well-maintained. You’re right in the middle of nature, which is wonderful.

Never stayed in a posh glamping place, and this was posh. You wouldn't think you were in the middle of the jungle!

My husband and I spent 2 nights there and did a half day safari with Max’s driver/guide. Our room was comfortable and I loved the bathroom shower.

Maybe one of the best stay I had in Sri Lanka. The house is really next to the jungle, the owner put some food for the birds and many of them come to eat.

Best stay in Sri Lanka! Hantara Udawalawe is situated very beautifully and you wake up to the sound of birds. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool is very nice.

A lovely place right next to the reservoir and super close to Udawalawe NP entrance. We had a great safari with plenty of elephants and I went for a nice sunset walk along the reservoir.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Eliyanth. The place is calm and beautiful. As quite a few reviews mentions the food sadly isn’t the best.

Kuru ganga villa is situated in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. We had a wonderful experience on the trek to Bopath Ella waterfall. The river bath was awesome.

The staff always work with smiling faces and are extremely helpful. The location is calm and peaceful, with no loud noises or disturbances. The environment feels like a tropical garden.

Easy parking. Upon arrival you are greeted with a cool hand towel and a fresh juice. One of the staff will accompany you to your room. The pool area is great.

Absolutely fantastic place to spend a few days, very peaceful surroundings and close to a river so lots of bird's to listen to.

The Hotel Jungle Paradise in Uda Walawe is an absolute hidden gem! Its location in the heart of nature is simply breathtaking and offers pure relaxation.

Recently visited Tappers Village with a group of around 30 people and took the full board package. It was a really enjoyable experience.

This is a resort for any age and of course for nature lovers, the natural pool was a refreshing, the accommodation was spacious and clean.

This was one of the most magical moments of our trip to Sri Lanka. The unique chance to see elephants right from the balcony of your room is what makes this hotel special.

Me and my family came to watch the elephants and eat lunch. They were super patient while we ordered and the food was amazing.
