Had an amazing stay… It's a really amazing hotel to stay at… the hospitality by the staff is really nice… The food, the area, the rooms, and facilities are all amazing… I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a relaxing time.

Great hotel in this location. Despite a little run down but the room is clean, service was excellent. The breakfasts and dinner are both good. One waiter is really very attentive that I want to give my sincere gratitude to him — Mr Samon who just worked here for 2 weeks. Hotel has pool, spa. You can relax at the bar near to bamboo garden over a small stream! One of the best hotels near here.

First of all, staffs are are very friendly and very helpful. We stayed one night at this hotel April 2018 was told us UK tour company this is a 4 star hotel. When having shower "worms" coming out of the tiles grout, bath is filthy, mirror wires hanging out, worst hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka. Will not recommend to our friends. Definitely NOT 4 star.

Great tour watched Elephants Birds of different types and giant crockadiles.

Excellent hotel. Upscale amenities and super friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner have left nothing to be desired. Again at any time.

Loved it here! We stopped for a couple of nights to see the safari. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the rooms were very comfortable.

Beautiful 3-hour safari during which you can suddenly observe elephants, probably also monkeys, iguanas, buffaloes, crocodiles and lots of birds of all kinds.

Very good hotel, restaurant with very full Buffet, swimming pool, recommended.

Our room had 2 Balconies 1 small other very large. Could not see much mostly trees and monkeys. Rooms were large and spacious. Pool was colder than I expected but still refreshing. No pool bar.

I dropped in here for a wedding. The security guard did not understand the meaning of Valle Parking. The parking was about 100 meters away from the hotel. However I am still rating this a 4 because of its scenic views and beauty. The nature is well preserved. However the facility needs a little more upkeep. Good place to chill.

As Safsriresort acceptable, rooms are large, kitchen good, bathroom falls asenader.

Service solala… Eat ok. Room ok. But not top.

Super location, very good food, top service … The air conditioning is too noisy for some.

Friendly reception but the rest is to be desired. Service and cuisine very unfriendly at the buffet. Hotel complex not very clean. The food not especially I had penne with sea fruits, very fatdish dish and old fish and shrimp.
This hotel is not recommended.

I nice place to stay and relax. Most staff seem well trained and attentive. Meals were tasty. Rooms are spacious, maybe a little dated in decor, but this is in line with the overall atmosphere of it being a laid back resort. Massages are avail from US$45 for 60 mins. Pool is nice but a little small.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the positives stopped there. The first room we were shown smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke, we were then shown a further 3 rooms which smelled of damp and we settled on the fourth room, which still smelled of stale cigarettes but less than the first. We then wanted to relax by the pool but there was a party, including karaoke, and the noise was horrendous. We later learned this was a local party and not even hotel gusts! Lunch service in the restaurant was poor and the dinner buffet was worse. The food was cold and we had to settle for fresh pasta as this was made to order and hot. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out after one, speaking to the hotel manager he didn’t seem surprise and refunded the 1 night. I would not recommend staying here and next time we’ll opt for one of the guest houses/home stays. Lastly, the hotel staff wanted us to have a nice and we blame management for poor training and lack of investment in staff.

Very good trip organised through Nature House home stay. Cost was 4000 rupees in a mixed jeep and we saw many elephants including some babies. Also plenty of Macac monkeys, deer and bird life including pelicans and peacocks.

A good hotel near the national park. Spacious rooms. Nice n small swimming pool!

Nice 5* hotel in Udawalawe area. Staff is nice and rooms are nicer. Have big swimming pool. Good food and easy location for Udawalawe National Park for the safari.

Awesome place in Sri Lanka. We really enjoyed the day. The cuisine was also very delicious.

Overall this hotel is very good. The rooms are beautiful (well we did have the Royal Suite) and the staff were great. The view from our room was the pool and basically we could jump into the pool from our balcony (if you really wanted to of course). The restaurant was ok. A little pricey for a buffet but a great selection. I would recommend this hotel if you were planning on doing the Udawalawe Safari — only about 20 mins by jeep.

A Grand hotel in Udawalawe. Lunch buffet had was good but could improve with variations. Quite and calm plac3 to spend a holiday.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Food deserves a spl mention — very good with a wide choice. Very hospitable and well trained staff. Very entertaining to watch the monkeys troups that pass through the property. Enjoyable stay.

Bit dirty, looks amazing going in but it needs a scrub. Be careful booking a massage, they will prioritize a walk in client so you might as well not bother.

Good accommodation with good food. But as far as a travel experience goes nothing special about this place. Of course you got your average closer to attraction advantage, the spa, the pool, spacious rooms. But don't expect them to even give you an early check-in. My request was in the middle of the off-season of tourism, and they couldn't give me my room 30mns earlier.

Buffet was average, surroundings are beautiful. Great service.

Great place, lovely room and superb pool. The food is up to the level and service is fine for Sri Lankan standards. Decor is fine and general sensation from being in this place is OK. Would love to be back again.

One of the best and expensive hotels in Udawalawe.

Frankly, almost nothing to complain about. Staff efficient, discreet, smiling, considerate. Spacious, air conditioned, clean, pleasant rooms. Beautiful garden, lovely pool area. Well located. If we were fussy the only "problem" is the lack of internet connection in the rooms but on the other hand a computer is available in the lobby.

Very good Hotel, food was also delicious! Newly built Suite are great.

The one and only unforgettable trip I went in my life.

The good: good size room, good Wi-Fi, good shower, nice pool. Oh, and the location which is fabulous! OK: Bathrooms small but did the job, decent bar, air conditioning was very loud but kind of worked, service very friendly but over attentive in the restaurant. The bad: restaurant feels like a canteen atmosphere wise. Food was very poor throughout and this is important as there aren't really any alternative options.

Awesome. Comfortable for foreigners. Good air conditioners. No bugs were around rooms (not like other hotels of rural Sri Lanka. ) Have hair dryer. Nice pool. Foods are moderate. If you do not expect too much, you can enjoy your stay.

Visited last weekend with seylan bank, borella branch. 1st class hotel. Just like kandalama hotel.
