Calm and quiet environment and friendly staff.

It was a wonderful stay for us at "Habarana Village by Cinnamon" in Jan 2023. The staff was extra exceptional and really helpful. Great location with Lake view and easy to access. Perfect place for nature lovers! Our "Safety" was a priority at hotel and there were many visible signs to remind us being careful while we enjoy to the max. Food was unique and had a good spread with multiple choices! Especial thanks to Chef Ravindra and Amila Uddika for the complementary cake! Simply, everything was just perfect!

It was amazing place. The view was very nice, the staffs were very friendly especially Nilmini and Piyumi. The food was very yummy and overall they provided the excellent service. Highly recommend.

We visited this beautiful huge hotel in the middle of the forest, it was a very beautiful experience. All over the place you will find always people smiling and letting you feel like home. NB: The tummy was always happy with the wide variety of food 😍😍

Beautiful grounds and swimming pool. Even with the hotel full over the weekend, I had the pool to myself for well over an hour today! Spacious room, good shower, great food and really friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful — love this place!

We had a lovely stay in Habarana Village for two days. The surroundings and the hotel facilities are amazing. The best thing is the kids friendly environment with lush green beautiful nature.
We were there to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and u made it so beautiful with a exceptionally nice complimentary cake.

Great place to stay not far from Sigiriya. Great staff, very good hot chips Breakfast and dinner menus are extensive.
The Chocolate bread pudding that was made for us on request was by Far the best desert I have ever had, this is in comparison to deserts I have had in Paris, Bordeaux, Leon, Copenhagen and Stockholm.

We got the warmly welcome from the security post… we didn't expect that kind of things from the security guys and then reception staff also very cool and warmly welcome us… foods are very delicious and rooms also very impressive.

Words cannot express our gratitude for Miss Yoshina and Mr Malinda and all other staff who helped me to celebrate my guy, s birthday on 23rd oct. They are the best staff I've ever seen with a lovely smile and a very good attitude. His birthday celebration was something out of a magazine! It was just perfect birthday and all because of them. I came with a simple idea and they worked their magic and brought it to life which was beyond my expectation. Hats off to all the staff at habarana village for the job which they did to make his birthday a very special and memorable. Thank you so much.

Spent the first couple of days of our honeymoon at this wonderful hotel. Staff were incredible in making us feel special which was topped off with the beautiful candlelit lakeside dinner that we had on the last night. Cocktails were also brilliant! Rooms could do with a little updating and modernising but other than that, we were very impressed and will most certainly be returning to this beautiful country.

Quiet n huge place. Pleasant and friendly staff. My 5yr old loved the swing n tree house and running about. Lovely scenery. I can relax on a hammock n read a book.

Superb place with a superb staff. Facilities, food and the surroundings were out of this world…! Loved the wild animals and butterflies roaming amongst the bushes (See video). Sadly missed visiting the butterfly garden on the far side, passed the Lodge. Can rent bicycles and have a ride around to visit there.

Had a wonderful holiday at Habarana village. The staff are very friendly and well trained. Good food, personalized service. Absolutely loved it. The experience would be even better if the room had more natural lighting and the menu included more seafood items.

Great atmosphere. A great get away from the busy life. However the pool is not very big. The garden is very huge and there are hammoks to relax with a lovely scenery.

If you are looking for a relaxed get away weekend I Suggest you better try one of Habarana hotels by Cinnamon. I booked the King Fisher Lodge suite in Village hotel. It's on the bank of Habarana lake. If you are lucky you can feel the water of the lake underneath your suite. The wind that comes from the lake, you can enjoy it with the compulsory fruite basket they provide in the evening. I must say something about the staffabout the staff. Cinnamon's staff as always kind, caring people.

It's the breathtaking landscape and scenery coupled with the maintenance effort of the hotel staff that drew my attention! It's not 100% but keells facilities food and service are second to none in this area! I have no doubts, hotel can & will improve, definitely not otherwise, providing a memorable holiday as time goes by!

This is a great little hotel by Cinnamon which is ideal for a weekend getaway. Located right next to Cinnamon Lodge, this hotel has all the standard features you'd expect. The outdoor area is great with the field leading to a lake and its views. The pool is a bit smal. Food from the main restuarant was great.

Nothing much to say. Hotel environment is beautiful. Room service staff is helpful. But frount desk staff is not giving a good service and we had to change rooms as well due to an A/C issue. Food is the same no difference and not that much tasty.

Fantastic hotel with great staff! The food was excellent! The pool is really nice to relax next to during the day with a beer (or six)! You can walk into Habarana in about 10 minutes where you can shop at a local market.

A fantastic property within the cultural triangle. The spread of food is amazing out here. Local produce the stars. The rooms are spacious and very clean. All amenities provided. The surrounding lake is a treat at sunset. the low rating is because the bed I had was not comfortable and the entertainment they had was a disgrace.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and it saddens me to have to leave a bad rating, but my husband and I just stayed there over Christmas for 3 days as part of our honeymoon and both got food poising on the second day from the hotel food. We know this for sure this was the source because we ate ONLY food from the Hotel during our stay, and drank only bottled water throughout the day. My symptoms were mild and passed quickly but my husband is still sick one week later, this putting a pretty serious damper on our honeymoon and subsequent travels through Sri Lanka. Word of advice: stay away from the meat and sea food especially!

One of my favorite places. Have been here in childhood and re-visited in 2017. Still it haven't failed me to fallen in love with this place. Food is amazing. Fabulous eco-friendly atmosphere. Great mind healer and relaxation for your busy life. Two thumbs up!

Superb service from beginning to end. All Stuarts are well trained as to how to treat the guests and thanks to Kanishka and the rest at the Restaurant for the Anniversary cake and other complimentary services :) Hotel ambiance is very calm and relaxing and the buffet too had a good variation.
However, few minor things to be considered. There wasn't a rug and the ironing facility inside the room. Also the bathroom amenities were somewhat old. Overall, it would definitely be a nice and pleasant stay to anybody who enters.

I recently visited Sri Lanka and stayed in several hotels during my trip. My favourite place is the cinnamon village. It certainly ticked all the boxes. I enjoyed several massages wherever I stayed. But the best massage I experienced was at the village. I believe the name of the therapist is Sanjith. He is professional and courteous. I would recommend him to your guests. In fact, if I ever return to your hotel I would seek him out again. Thank you for making my stay so good.

I lost 5000 rupees when I was staying at this hotel. My friend dropped 8000 rupees and 400 yuan. Waiter thief a lot of keys open the door to go out to eat must bring valuables.

Location was very good, Hotel has nice garden with a lake view. We stayed in a superior room (cottage) which was very clean and spacious. Food was also ok with us.

Nice setting close to heritage area. Helpful friendly staff. Facilities dated but reflected in price.

Room (bungalow) was Ok. We only spent one night there to visit the national park. Eating was quite good, very diverse. A few monkeys walked around the hotel complex.

If peace of mind is what you seek, this is a place to visit. You can enjoy nature at its best. Sway on a hammock, sit in a tree house, gaze at a lake, enjoy the playfulness of monkeys and many more. The rooms are spacious and the food is fabulous. The room service menu has a good variety and healthy choices too. You can enjoy a candle lit dinner seated outside, in the main restaurant, closer to the pool while listening to the live music. All these blend in to give you the best relaxed stay.

Great location. Breathtaking views and the garden. Buffet must be added more verity. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. All in all a lovely stay.

To recommend for short stays: had a bungalow, air conditioning is good, rooms clean and nicely furnished. Eat good, tasty, warm, great selection. In the evening, 1-man band, plays well.
