Rooms are spacious and clean. Basic amenities are available. Wi-Fi connection is poor though. Had breakfast here. It was okay. A pool is available. Price is also reasonable.

One od the best place to stay.

A good place for wedding. Far away place from twnship. No enogh indoor area. We have to use outdoor area at the wedding function. There is a swiming pool. AC hall. Overall a good place with enough parking places. It provide good food but not enough deserts. Food are tasty. The only mistake is it do not have enough indoor area at the hall. If it rain what was happen.

Small Hotel with limited rooms, clean, foods are delicious and high standed, good location easy to entrance to the city. Friendly service. Reservation cordination has to upgrade.

Calm environment and food is not expensive. Had a rice and curry for about 800 rupees.

Great place! Had a great time!

I stayed 4 nights and it was mostly great. Lovely smiling helpful staff, good dinners and breakfasts (especially the Sri Lankan which was huge with enough leftovers for lunch), lovely garden and pool, comfortable room. Only the decor of my room was a little dull and could do with some homely touches/art/colour, but it had everything I needed. The local area is quiet, although also has no nearby restaurants that I could find but this did not bother me as the food in the hotel was good. Laundry charge was per item and not per kilo so the cost for this was expensive.

It is a familiar place for us. The staff was really friendly. Only issue we faced was the bathroom where the shower had no water at all. Could Not take a shower after a tiring day. Fixing it will make this one an awesome hotel.

This resort just near to anuradhapura city with swiming pool, garden and gym. They have very limited option for breakfast but food quality is good.

Located outside of the town but close to the historical ruins this venue relatively new venue is set off one of the main thoroughfares and contains everything that you should require. The rooms are large, air-conditioned, and have all the amenities needed during travel. Some rooms have a balcony that overlooks the expansive courtyard. The courtyard is well maintained, and sports several table and chairs sets as well as a large in-ground pool. There is a restaurant on site which provides some very tasty food items, as well as being generous with the portions. While there is no room service, the restaurant will make a dish for you and deliver same to your room for a modest price. Breakfast can also be purchased for a modest cost and is taken in the dining area under the main building at the street-side of the courtyard. Staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Tariff is reasonable. Highly recommended.

Good clean hotel closed to the ancient city. Only downside is that restaurant is small and only a-la-carte style. But there are plenty of other good restaurants close by.

Nice hotel, good service and breakfast. A little far away from the city but you know that in advance. No shops or restaurants in walking distance.

Would recommend this place to anyone. This is a newly built place and very friendly staff with good hospitality. The food was yummy but a little too pricey… Hope the standards will continue.

Avoid Gamodh Citadel Resort in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka; “Worst experience of my life” This was the worst stay of my life. We stayed at this place for 3 days and from the experience I would never recommend this place to anyone. The receptionist is a real crook and very rude with the guests, my fiancé gave some clothes for their laundry service, and they damage all the clothes by putting chlorine to wash them. But very surprisingly, when I ask for a compensation for my damage property, they said they're not responsible for any damages, if I want to complain, I have to go to the police station. The owner and the manager in charge did promise me a partial refund, but I haven't received anything as yet. I will never go back, but I want everybody else to be aware of it. The management doesn't own any mistake. I can safely say this was, by far, the most unpleasant experience I have ever experienced. If you have any idea of going to this place, please be WARNED.
