The best place that we stayed in Sri-Lanka! The rooms are spotless, comfortable beds, good shower, great view and above all the family are amazing! So welcoming and hospitable! A truly lovely family! meeting Simba the dog made the holiday!

Kind of hidden from the main road and away from all the other villas. It faces the jungle side of the city so almost all rooms have a nice, quiet window/balcony to the green empty side. Rooms are big and clean. And the staff is very polite and helpful — they know when to leave you alone and when to offer help. Plus, their English is very good! The breakfast is fantastic and even if the don’t offer lunch and dinner there are plenty of choices around.

Very good hotel 5 stars they gave me free ice coffee.

The Peacock Villa was so clean. The beds were super comfy, and the staff was very kind. Breakfast was amazing everyday. I'll be thinking about the fresh fruit for years to come.

Very charming and quiet hotel in nature. The staff is careful to make the stay as pleasant as possible, here the cry of the peacock replaces the cry of the rooster for the awakening. A path along a small stream takes you to Mirissa beach in 5 minutes. A laundry service is available, you can even assess the ambient noise with a decibel counter available in the hallway and enjoy the relaxing calm.

Superb! You'll have harder discussions than this to make abour your trip to Sri Lanka. Of the 6 hotels we stayed in over 2 weeks this is by far the best. Humble father and hardworking son make for a truly memorable stay. Both are so relaxed, nothing is a problem and they come up with alternatives best for the guest rather than trying to earn a cut of any suggestions they make. Iced coffees out of this world, 5 minutes walk from the beach, the best food places within walking distance.

This is a lovely family-run guesthouse, just off the main road in Mirissa. As it is slightly set back it is much quieter, but still just moments from the beach etc. The staff are really kind and helpful and the guesthouse is ran meticulously, they have thought of everything. Breakfast is great and service is excellent. I would highly recommend Peacock Villa.

The room was huge with a big comfy bed. Nice to have aircon and 2 fans. Large balcony overlooking a small lagoon, we could see a peacock most mornings. Bathroom big enough with a great shower with hot water and good pressure. Large clean towels and soft bed linen, with plenty of pillows. Staff super friendly and helpful. Very quiet location but so close to the beach. Breakfast was very bland and not worth what it costs! Recommend going out, lots of cheap places nearby.

Great place, great location and great people! (and so cute)

Fabulous 2 bed but sleeps up to 8 secluded, hill-top villa amidst lush coconut and fruit estate. The 3rd floor terrace has excellent view of surrounding countryside. 10min Tuk to Beach. Perfect for contemplation and getting away whilst being close to Galle and other amenities.

Great location, very friendly staff. Quiet enough to sleep peacefully away from the honking traffic along the beach yet easily accessible through a footpath that allows you to see various animals along the lagoon on your way to the shore. AC cold, showers hot, Wi-Fi fast. No detail overlooked. Highly recommended.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! My goodness, I don't even know where to begin. Charindu and his team are amazing! When we got out of the car after a 3 hour trip from the airport to Mirissa, we were greeted with the most welcoming smiles and two delicious creamy iced coffees, which was perfect after all the traveling! Our room was spacious, impeccably clean and super comfortable. I had some of THE best nights of sleep I have had in a long time in our bed. The location was great! A foot path to the beach was right nearby so from our door to the beach was a five to ten minute walk depending on how leisurely we took the stroll. Along the way we saw monkeys, large iguana looking lizards, goats, dogs and puppies! At the beach you will find restaurants, dive and boat operators for whale and dolphin watching. I was getting over a head cold, so I was not able to take advantage of the diving but the operators had large signs showing what the saw on the morning dives. Many of the operators indicated they saw whales, sharks and dolphins! Charindu was kind enough to help us coordinate cars/drivers scheduled for pick up/drop off to airport and also to Udawalawe National Park where there are safari jeeps that take you around the park. The park was amazing and makes a great little adventure while in Mirissa. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Simba, the house puppy! He brought many smiles and laughs and was the perfect dose of fur baby that I needed since I was missing mine.

Wonderful Hotel in Sri Lanka with a great service!

This is THE BEST place to stay in Mirissa. It combines the best of an authentic Sri Lankan experience — a small family-run hotel WITH the highest level of cleanliness and all amenities for a very comfortable and restful stay. The father and 2 sons who own the place are the kindest, most helpful and genuinely adorable people I have met during my travels in Sri Lanka and they speak English very well and can answer any questions you may have. The short walk to the beach is ver…y peaceful and enjoyable with little houses, villas and possibly monkeys along the way. I loved my view from the balcony of the room to the farmer fields and seeing the peacocks and other bird-life coming and going. The family will go out of their way to show you the peacock resting spots in the trees. There is a great small restaurant a few minutes away to have your breakfast. And another place across the road for dinner if you want a peaceful place away from restaurants on the beach. The room and bathroom are very spacious, well lit, and the beds are high quality and extremely comfortable. The air conditioner is also hi quality and powerful. A Ceiling fan is also there if you prefer. I wouldn't hesitate to book Peacock Villa. I was on my own and the family made me feel really well taken care of and like it was a home away from home.

Lovely place away from the Main Street, but only less than 10 minutes walk to the beach via main road or 5 minutes via the footpath shortcut. Nice view and quiet. Staff are extremely nice and helpful, waited for the tuktuk at the entrance early in the morning for the pickup for whale watching, and drove us to the bus stop to catch our bus to Galle.

A lovely little b&b away from the hustle of the main road. Brand new very well maintained rooms. Large and well furnished, with large clean modern bathrooms. No restaurant on the premises though.
