We were accused of not paying our bill, when we had in fact payed as we got the drinks at the bar. It’s disgraceful, not surprised however as the staff are pretty average when it comes to service. Honestly the worst place I’ve ever been to in all my travels.

For a first time visit to Mirissa, this place was good. Staff were friendly and polite.

What an amazing hidden jem! I always spend a night or two here on every visit to Sri Lanka! The rooms are excellent! Food is to die for! I’m surprised not many people have found this little place! If your staying in Mirrissa I highly recommend staying here. The staff is first class!

We had drinks on lounge seats on the beach, which was nice. Food (lunch) was basic but they have a nice extensive menu.

When we go to Mirissa we had no idea where to stay. We parked our car near Mirissa beach area and walked towards the beach. There were lot of small hotels on the beach but those are very dark not clean etc. Then we saw this hotel. White, clean and spacious. The crowd on the restaurant was decent. So we thought of staying there on that night. Prices were so reasonable. Staff was friendly. Food was tasty. We had a relaxing time.

Just stopped here for a "quick" lunch around 1pm with our guide. After waiting for 10 minutes to get our menus and 15 minutes for someone to get our orders we received our drink 16 minutes later. Then we waited another 35 minutes for a prawn curry and grilled chicken dish at which point I got up and complained asking where our food was, after which it arrived after about 10 minutes. Then no one apologized, no one came over, no one offered us anything else to drink, nothing. After about 10 mins of waiting after we finished our meal, I got up and asked for the bill and our guide's banana juice was added to our bill to which our guide was told that he paid for it. I went to the manager and refused to pay the service charge, still paid for everything else. Then I apologized to the waitress for being short with her about the food and said it was just because I was hungry, and she starts complaining saying, "what do you expect from us? There are lots of guests and only two people working? " There were 5 tables. If you can't handle 5 tables as a restaurant in the middle of the afternoon, what are you doing? My Guide said this is his first experience with their new management and won't be bringing people back here anymore. Just Bad. Especially in a touristy part of town.

About the restaurant, disgusting staff, it took them an hour to bring Coca-Cola and ice. Food is missing in fact. Answer we can't prigotovit.

There is nothing good in this hotel apart from food they serve. Pathetic service. They locked the entrance at 8pm and the staff completely disappeared after. Not even security guard was there we had to jump over the gate to getin.

Great upmarket hotel on rocky outcrop, good food and pools worth paying for, staff excellent!

Really liked the price of the cheapest cocktails on the beach, and most importantly the drink is delicious.

We were here for day trips to use their lounge chairs and have drinks and lunch. Poshier and spacious than it's neighbors. Staff was really friendly. Ordered nasi goreng and it's pretty good. There's Wi-Fi but connection is spotty. Tide is higher in the afternoon, so be careful of your stuff if you've put them on the sand; never underestimate the current as it can wash your stuff away.

Had heard loads of stories of locals been turned away from mirissa beach establishments, so was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a smile from the manageress and be invited in! Staff was super friendly and the food was awesome, highly recommend this place to both locals and foreigners alike.

! NEVER COME HERE… A terrible hotel with a "prepaid" request as every shady place in the world. Every night there's a super high volume RAVE music coming from the next door "hotels" making it impossible to sleep. The place is dirty, very old and I do not mean it in a charming colonial way. At 9pm our electricity broke so we were not able to switch off any longer the light and the "manager" proposed us a downgrade to a worst room without any offer or refounding or anything similar. Unable to solve problems and to propose valid alternatives. Never come here.

Had an amazing two nights. Very helpful and friendly hotel manageress. Polite staff and the chef in Charge is brilliant. Had one bad experience as the dinner on the 1st night was not up to standard being hoteliers our self. The Seafood platter that was served was raw and made in a hurry. But the chef net us the very next day and made up for it. The cocktails in need more improvement as well. And the staff need to improve on the service skills as well. Overall it was a wonderful stay and this property has soo much potential. Will be star class by going the extra mile as the beach strip is full of classy competition. Thanks again.

The hotel is located on the beach. Room No. 11 sea view. In room air conditioning. Bed linen clean and fresh. The bed is large, sleep on mattresses comfortably. No wardrobe to hang long clothes will not succeed. There kamod, which can be folded clothes. Shower / WC — 6 sq. M. There is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, shower cap. In front of the room terrace. On the terrace, dryer for clothes, chairs, table. On the terrace to have a comfortable time. The hotel area is green, well-groomed. The staff is friendly and helpful. In the days of stay was not connecting to Wi-Fi. The administrator promised to call experts to correct the problem. In the evening quiet, as the hotel restaurant is not popular because of high prices. Nice hotel.

This place is awesome and had a great time there. Food is supperb… Rooms in good quality and service also supperb.
