Amazing wooden huts on the edge of the Sinharaja forest. The 3 huts available to stay in are pretty high quality and really spacious. Food is plenty and all fairly tasty. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. This place promises of activities and wholesome menu's but in reality niether is available. Now run by 03 people who has no experience in hospitality, when you ask about the activities and the menu "the marketing team" promised Reshan could only come up with a bunch of excuses! Add to this out of the 03 picture perfect cottages one at the top doesn't have water to shower and one at the bottom has a leaking roof where the water drips right on to the bed during a rain! Mind you the furniture is not movable! Since we were there for 02 days wanted these issues rectified and we only got more excuses saying there isnt anyone to fix it! All this after travelling almost 170km to get there! If there are issues with the accommodation ideally you'll shouldn't have taken in bookings! It's that simple! The property is also not safe as the staff leaves by 7.30 in the night and returns only in the morning around 8! There isn't anyone to contact during the night regarding anything. Your on your own feeling helpless and stranded as there is no cellular reception also!

Lovely place surrounded with nature. Beautiful waterfalls around. But we were taken by a three wheel from the vehicle park and from a certain point had to walk. Threewheel ride was horrible since the road to the forest is not good and lot of leeches during the walking distance. A fourwheel vehicle is mandatory. Very poor meal for the price paid and cleanliness of the room linen (bedsheets and bed spreads) need to be concerend more especially during a time like this. (we had to request to change the linen) Recommend to seal the room toilets properly to avoid frogs, rats and other insects coming in. Our soaps were misplaced twice due to rats coming in. Location of the hotel is wonderful and if the mentioned areas are revamped, the guest may have a happy stay and satifaction for the price they pay.

Unique experience in nature, great connection with the forest, with local people and kids. Really recommend to spend some days on your own or with company. Staff take care of everything you need, definitely a experience to repeat.

Indeed, One of the BEST and the PERFECT retreats we have been to…wish we could have stay more days (heard there were some planned bookings for today) so will save the that for near future 😃. This place is a Gem! Hope you take good care of it 😊. More over all the staff tend to our needs. Took very good care of us like one of their own…we miss them…Nalaka, Chitra, Nirosha and the little trekker Rana ❤️ So delightful to see that you all have helped to build a lovely community around this awesome place. All the workers and staff greets with genuine smile each and every time when sees us. Like I said this will be one of my go to places! It was breathtaking and brisk place. And we have amazing experience.

Amazing place with nice environment, waterfall and forest. But room service and foods are horrible.

Really nice place to stay. Calm environment, sound of the waterfall while u sleeping. Wonderfull architectural design.
But service is really quiet bad. Didnt have soup in the washrooms. No evening tea. Cant get any snacks of extra foods from the kitchen.
If u are going there you should bring all ur stuffs to enjoy there, including extra snacks, tea bags, beverages, and all bathroom stuffs.

We had amazing stay, beautiful hotel like calendar picture. Very calm nice beautiful environment, sound of water while you sleep makes you feel amazing. Special thanks to the staff and manager Mr. Aruna. Will visit again.
