San Remo Hotel

Low cost accommodation. The best thing you have is the great location. Ideal if you are looking for cheap accommodation in good area in the center of Alicante.

Nice hotel basic but clean. Handy for local amenities and can get to most places easily. Quiet surroundings at nights with 24 hour reception. Lift while can hold 4 to 6 people not suitable if your claustrophobic. Good bars and restaurants close by.

Location is not too bad as it's in between the train station and the beach. We had a room with an ashtray even they call it non smokers an there was Mold in the bathroom.

I did not like anything, small and old, that yes downtown and the girl at reception very friendly.

Our room was at the Sesondo Street side floor and for this we had big problems during the night because of the shouting screams etc. That came from the road below until 3-4 in the morning a thing never seen before. Besides the rooms are small non existent furnishings, and especially rooms full of dust (for this I had allergy problems) The room was cleaned in the morning with towel change but the sheets were never changed in 4 nights and especially on Bedside tables There was a large spread of dust. Overall my stay was unsatisfactory and I would not recommend the property to a friend.

Such a lovely place rooms are simple but clean and well placed the staff are lovely and for a city centre location you can't ask for more really.

Small hotel in the Centre of Alicante. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and affordable prices. Parking problems because this surrounded by blue zone and residents, but there are several parking payment by public.

Good price away from the beach and already quite old but they are making reforms a good deal.

I have only praise for the hotel San Remo, from the very helpful and friendly staff to the great value. I saw this hotel whilst walking by and saw that it had big corner balconies in some rooms, and wanted one of those. The very kind lady on the front desk arranged for the cleaning lady to show me a room on a high floor (i wanted a view). When she at 1st showed me a room with just the small, no corner balcony, they were most patient with my poor spanish and didnt seem in any way put out by me asking to see another room (with corner balcony). I was able to at last understand, there english was limited, that the corner rooms were for 2 people and had 2 seperate beds, but they were kind enough to let me have it on my own at the same price as a single! The room was large and airy and had no less than 4 window you could open, so was very fresh feeling. It was very clean and bright, and there is free Wi-Fi, and a laptop in the reception you can go online on, and at 40 euros was a bargain. I would deffinetly stay here again. The staff here put the staff at chain hotels, which I stayed at the pervious 2 nights, to shame. And another plus, there is a parking garage on the street 10 metres away on carrer de navas, and it only costs €13 for 24 hours! with a very helpful attendant too. A great friendly hotel in a great friendly city. If you want a corner balcony ask for room No. — 02. I was on floor 5 so was in 502. I assume floor 4 would be 402.
