Amazing. Spa facilities are superb the pool and pool bar is fantastic. The grounds are so romantic at night they even have a pond with giant koi carp
The rooms are very spacious and so comfortable and Albir is such a lovely little town

Everything can be achieved at this fantastic hotel. We have been using the Playa for many years and all of our clients keep coming back as the staff are brilliant and the hotel facilities are excellent.

Very nice, very good rooms and excellent service.

I recommend it because it is very clean, friendly people, but too quiet, little atmosphere. For my taste it lacks a bit of animation.

The hotel very clean and the spa much better than in the photos are worth going! Food little variety but what there is very good quality and do not go hungry! The room very clean!

Just returned from our second visit to this lovely hotel. We had such a good time last year that we had high expectations for this year and we weren’t disappointed! Most of the lovely staff we encountered last year were here again which was great to see as they really are a huge part of what makes this place great. We opted for a standard room again but with pool view this time which we feel was worth the extra. The breakfast and dinner is similar each night however there is such a huge amount to choose from you can definitely vary what you eat. Albir itself is lovely but we took a train to Altea and walked up to the church, would definitely recommend that.
All in all a great hotel, kids loved it, we loved it, no doubt we will be back again!

We recently stayed here with our family, welcomed warmly and with a smile. Rooms were perfect upon arrival, clean and presented well.
Swimming pool was lovely although felt it could of been a bit warmer.
Breakfast wasn't that great for us, as we didn't like the hot buffet. Cold buffet couldn't fault plenty of fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals.
We will be coming again.

Two years running we used this hotel first year very good second year not so as some of the rooms had been upgraded for a much bigger price not worth upgrading staff are more likely to avoid you unless you are in a large group. Food good most days.

We were here ten years ago and thought it was good then, we can only say it is even better now. Nothing to much trouble. Everything spotless. Mini bar in room and complimentary cava thumbs up…

Fantastic breakfast buffé and really friendly reception staff. Eduardo how drives the beach shuttle is the nicest person. The only downside is very hard beds.

Spectacular, especially the service. Both animation and the guys at the firm are very nice, and that makes you feel at home. 100% recommended.

Third year we go to the hotel. As always perfect, thank You for Oscar's attention upon our arrival. All the dining and cafeteria staff charming and attentive. The lady who took care of our room on the third floor very well, always with a smile and a greeting, and her work performs it perfect. The food, cleanliness, pool and other common areas very well. Maybe the animation went down a little bit compared to other years, but we had a good time. I'm sure we'll repeat. Good detail of always giving us the same room.

Nice food selection at both breakfast and dinner but beware the laundry service, which is extortionate. Friendly staff offset by very small gym, grubby bathroom and fridge.

Hotel 4 stars nice, familiar and with good service. Rooms without many luxuries, but ideal to make you feel at home. Quiet atmosphere, no noise. Good cleaning service. Food without great variety, but enough quality to eat properly. Correct quality/price. Extra night at a very good price.

Just back from a week staying at the Albir Playa. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. My only negative is the size of the pool area. This is small for the size of hotel and how many people can stay. There are not enough sun beds and the fact you have to queue to get one is a joke. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and never had to do this. It’s a stress you don’t want or need whilst on holiday.

By far one of the best hotels in albir clean tidy friendly have no problems with kids playing with toys & balls in pool jumping in whatsoever, room was cleaned every day like clockwork we only had bed & breakfast as we knew that there where many nice resturant in the area and sea front was beautiful with little night market and fair. Booking soon for September.

This a nice very clean friendly hotel. The pool is not the biggest area around cleaned everyday and entrance after 10am so no towel races. Breakfast is good fresh and plentiful and 3 coffee machines so no waiting and help yourselves to varieties. Room was kept spotless big and nice balcony, we are land side but great breeze e everyday so no aircondition needed.

I'm here until Sunday the hotel is great but the school trip staying has turned the hotel into a zoo. Kids banging at doors and phoning. So much for a rest. No respect at all. There must be other 4star hotels that don't accept this behaviour.

Excellent rapport qualité prix surtout en basse saison. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Petit déjeuner buffet varié et de bonne qualité. Service du personnel très agréable. Hôtel bien situé près des commerces et des restaurants mais à 10 mon à pied de la plage.

We have booked a room for wheelchair users and also got it. With a really hot bathroom with a lot of room.

A great hotel The facilities great just say the ambience at night if that is somewhat lousy.

Enjoy a spa session and it was great, the circuit of baths at different temperatures as well as the sauna and the Turkish bath are very wise, the staff very attentive and pleasant.

My stay in this hotel has been a thoroughly pleasant experience. The location within the town is good. Great even, considering there is a bike shop immediately opposite and the reason that I am here is for a cycling training camp. Alessandro and his staff in the cycle shop are super friendly and will very often do little repairs for nothing. The same can be said for the staff in the hotel. Julian behind the bar is cool, friendly and quite accommodating to any requests you might have. Ana the maitre is just as friendly and professional. The food in the buffet restaurant is very good too, with a good portion of the selection changing every day. It's varied enough, and good enough that in any one sitting, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will eat at least two plates worth just so that you can get to sample everything on offer. I guess the greatest tests of any establishment are whether or not you would recommend it to friends, and if you would happily return once again. Well, I would say yes to both. plc.

Very well. The Jets didn't work all but overall good. They have a hairdryer. Swimsuit dryer. They give you towel and flip flops and you can shower with soap. There's a variety of piscinitas and stuff.

The spa loved it but the hotel left a lot to be desired. The staff is very friendly and attentive but the building has certain shortcomings. The A/A of the room could not be removed and we returned sick. The bed and pillows were incomodísimas, but the most striking thing was that the drink was not included in the half board and we had to pay €5 for two bottles of water and however at breakfast (which did come in), you could take cava.

I stayed here for 2 weeks for a course and truely enjoyed it. Large rooms, large balcony with nice view. Good restaurants and nice pool. Loved the Spa! And the meeting rooms are very good too! All staff goes out of their way to help. Hotel is a 20-minute walk from the beach.

This hotel just seems to run effortlessly, although I'm sure a lot of hard work is put in. Friendly, helpful staff and a great touch with the free bottle of cava on arrival. Nice clean room complimentary bath robes and slippers. Great choice of food over five nights although perhaps spoilt for choice on Saturday due to the wedding Lamb and steak fantastic and enough prawns to find Nimo where ever he was lost. Nice hotel and food and staff really friendly. If your looking to use the gym though you will be disappointed three exercise bikes two out of order, two running machines one out of order one rowing machine out of order would of given it five stars otherwise.

Great hotel, amazing food. Staff are really nice shame you have to pay for a safe in your room. Overall great for family will be coming back.

The staff are very helpful here, excellent location lovely restaurants and bars around in the area as well as a Lidl next door and a super marker across the roundabout. Clean room, great view as we had pool view! Shame we're leaving tomorrow we love it!

The spa is good and relax in the cool pool, correct rooms and very nice service.

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel and it was great value for money. Upon arrival, we were greeted and given our key/card. There was no assistance to our room but didn't need so as we had 3 lifts to choose from. Our room was very clean and fresh. Everyday the cleaner would clean our room, even if we are in it! The staff were really helpful. We were given a safe for 4 euros a day! Many things to do outside: 10 mins from the local beach. Breakfst buffet was lovely and English breakfast served everyday. Overall, a good stay and would love to go again!

Really good looking hotel and good service and facilities. We really enjoyed out stay. The hotel looks amazing on the outside and in. Room was well equipped and had a great balcony. Air-con was unavailable during the Spring, but it wasn't necessary. However, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, so make sure you bring your own or buy in the local shops. Good location and a 10 minute walk from the beach. Good access to shops and supermarkets, the Lidl next door is really helpful, looks much better and cleaner than our ones in the UK! Breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choice and English breakfast served everyday. Good overall stay and would definitely come again and recommend.

Buena relación calidad precio.

This is the worst 4 star hotel my family have had the misfortune to stay in. On arrival the reception staff had a rude manor and never smiled to meet and greet us as new arrivals we were not told anything about the hotel. The staff just asked for our passports and booking voucher then we were handed an envelope to tell us about the hotel which consisted of a badly printed or photocopied letter that was very hard to read as the print was so faded and some of the print was so faded it could not be read. We were then handed our key and were left to manage all our cases pushchair etc alone there was no help offered to help us get to our room (which I have never experienced in a 4 star hotel). On arrival into or room which was very tired looking and the wooden floor was so scratched that it felt like a cheap bedsit rather than a hotel room. The door to the room did not lock from the inside which became apparent when we double locked the door to have a lie down after travelling and our 2 year old baby was able with such ease to touch the door and escaped half way down the corridor. If we had been asleep heaven knows what could have happened. The balcony door lock was broken and could be opened when locked which was also a concerned to us travelling with an infant. We then had to barricade our door with the pushchair and cases to prevent our baby from exiting the room and push a sofa bed across the balcony door for the same reason.

Great hotel with very good facilities. Staff are professional, polite and very helpful. Breakfast has plenty of variety to suit all tastes. You even get Cava for breakfast! For the price you pay it's excellent value and quality. Rooms are a generous size and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Modern facilities, comfortable, pool area amazing, the food spectacular and superb service, will definitely be back. The boy of children's animation, so you can put music that made balloon flexible, face painter, games… a person who is very competent, All and petra restaurant very friendly and sympathetic.

We have spent 5 days in the hotel and have been very well.
Very clean hotel, good animation, we liked the meal, the only downside to our liking were the beds, they were a little hard.
Otherwise everything great, the best hotel by far is Ivan animator.

The mattress was too hard and pillows too flat. I recommend that the receptionist ask guests on arrival if they need to use the safe, it was only after I had unpacked that I realised I couldn't lock the safe and had to go back to reception to get my card activated. Breakfast choice is amazing, there is something for everyone. Most staff were friendly and helpful although I did have trouble ringing reception, I gave up after waiting 10 minutes. Albir, Altea and Calpe are all places worth visiting and Benidorm is easy to get to by bus as parking spots are hard to find.

I'm going to this hotel 5 years ago, close to everything but mostly relax, very good employees, preferred, great spa, very good buffet available all day.
