Just back from another stay at this lovely hotel. Great hotel in a good location, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is spot on and the food was always varied, plentiful and good quality. Rooms cleaned every day and as they're in the Colonial style are a bit worn in places. I have no issues with this hotel as this price point as its very good value for money.

The staff are absolutely amazing everyone is helpful and smiling. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. 5 Stars!

Just got home from a week in this hotel. Great hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Excellent selection of food, particularly the seafood. Amazing drinks and entertainment every night. Didn't need to leave the hotel. Will definitely be returning.

Just back from GF Gran last night and today have re booked for July as we had such a lovely time. On arrival for our honeymoon the hotel very graciously gifted us bubbly and some chocolates, the tea service followed the next day! The hotel Provided slippers on the second day and robes were there also (however they were very small) so we didn’t use them. The rooms are a little dated and need some updating, but they are very clean and maintained daily! I especially loved the turn down service and clean towels at night this was perfect! We spend most of time at the rooftop pool where there is a bar too and clean facilities. The food was good I especially loved the breakfast and roast chicken dinner :) desserts were lovely and always good selections, the entertainment was good (kids club was separated from what I could see) as well as the branded drinks. Would Recommend all inclusive. Great local amenities. Highly recommend the Chinese and Indian next to the hotel!

Love this hotel, excellent location, fab suites, lots of space never feels crowded and on site facilities are great — 4 pools, gym, tennis, squash, spa, roof terrace, yoga. Family friendly but doesn’t feel like a hotel with lots of kids! Food is fantastic so much choice seafood, sushi, salads, grill and amazing desserts! Would stay here again.

Our first visit to Tenerife, fabulous hotel, staff are very helpful and extremely friendly.

This is our 2nd visit and it has been just as wonderful as our 1st, 5 years ago. Our room is large, beds comfy, cleaned everyday with little chocolates left. The hotel is stunning with greenery everywhere, the pool area is relaxing and plenty of loungers. There is a great choice of food and drink and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We are already planning our next trip here. 🥰

1st time to Tenerife. Was unsure we would get due to covid. What an amazing place and hotel is just wow… staff amazing hotel spotless and food is amazing… (just bloody amazing) I am so impressed we will be back xx.

Lovely 5 star hotel would def go back really nice and helpful staff lovely rooms and quiet to. Pools are lovely and the entertainment at night is pretty good. Nice location. Food is ok but not great if your thinking of going half board I did and I would only do bed and breakfast next time.

Amazing hotel but definitely not 5* could say 4 * being all inclusive and having to pay for certain foods like a chicken Caesar salad was a bit hard to get my head round. Lovely food but much the same everyday. Kids food area very poorly stocked nuggets or pizza crisps and sweets every night.
5* adults pooing in the big pool so not so good!

Evening bar service slow so don’t be in a hurry.

Absolutely love this hotel, going in February for our fourth stay, have tried other hotels in the group, and they have their own benefits, this is our favourite, great rooms, great amenities, fabulous food, enthusiastic and knowledgable staff. See you early next year for another relaxing holiday in the sun.

We loved our stay at the Gran Costa Adeje, lovely hotel, food, amenities & location.
Staff were very helpful our key door lock wouldn't work, straight away 2 maintenance guys came & changed the batteries & got it working no problem.
The only thing we could fault was the free Wifi, which was very touch & go, and towels on sunbeds at 7am.

Big shout out to the fabulous Andrei and his team in the entertainment department! He’s such a funny person with a big kind heart. Life and soul of the pool area at the hotel he has a big personality and never failed to put smiles on the guests face! He sure did leave a lasting impression for all the right reasons and is one of the reasons you’d want to visit again! Apart from Andrei this hotel has friendly staff, has a lovely pool setting, spacious rooms, great food and facilities and a lovely view from the top! I would highly recommend! Lovely hotel this is!

This Hotel lives up to its 5 star billing with extensive choice of food from local to exotic parts of the world. Free Wi-Fi, fridge n safe and fresh pool towels every day. Pool areas are relaxed and free from the idiotic bed saving towel rush at the crack of dawn. If beds are left unattended for extended periods of time they are removed.

Gran Costa Adeje The hotel is clean, the rooms are quite pleasant and staff at reception are very welcoming and helpful. But we had a broken bed for a 12 year old to sleep on that's resulted in back ache, this took 2 complaints and several days to rectify, a couple of staff in the restaurant are less than helpful, and a couple of times have even been rude. We are also half board so this includes our evening meal but not drinks, not even water, this is where they mug you. They advertise free Wi-Fi but don't get exited it's completely unusable, we complained on the first week and were told it was being looked at in a couple of days but nothing changed by the following week, so make sure you have lots of data allowance. Thomas Cook must have forgot to tell us about the road works directly outside the hotel and the redevelopment of the shopping centre next door for the duration of our stay. At the pool area all we got every day was noise from the trucks, shouting, reverse alarms the stink of tarmac plus the road was closed on the 17th July and we were told that we couldn't get to our hotel by a labourer. In the end we had to take the risk and drive through the road works. For a day or two this wouldn't have been a big deal but as it was every day I think we should have been informed. It's not a bad hotel but it's what I would expect from a budget holiday company and cheap accommodation, so bear this in mind when paying.

We returned from this hotel yesterday (14/8/18). My review is based on my honest opinion. On arriving at the Gf Gran — the hotel met all expectations with its “grand” reception, certainly created the wow factor. Checking in was speedy and the staff won me over with being so attentive with my child who was tired after travelling. The most important thing to me is cleanliness and this hotel is spotless, from reception, seating areas, rooms and corridors and for that reason I wil…l recommend and possibly return in the not so distant future. Our room was spacious and comfortable, when travelling with a 2 year old this is also important to us. We had a problem with the air con on the first night but the reception staff swiftly sorted it out and safe to say we were happy! However, for a 5 star hotel I have to criticise the air con in general — we all found sitting in reception at night where all the evening entertainment takes place (the bar area) and in the restaurant too hot at times. I think the air con system could do with an upgrade to make it more comfortable and pleasant especially at meal times. Meal times… food was good in general but this hotel misses “themed” nights like we have experienced in other AI optioned hotels. Food was plentiful though and there was always something for everyone, although it did feel repetitive towards the end of our week and that was with eating out once!

People have moaned about this and that on reviews and how it’s not 5* but the staff make you feel welcomed they say your coffee water and tea in rooms don’t get refilled but if ur all inclusive everything is at hand for you when you need it would definitely come again.

Generally really nice. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was absolutely brilliant (on half board), both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The odd lunch we had was also very good and reasonably priced — though I would not recommend going full board/all inclusive as only a few items are included in the lunch and drinks menus.

Brilliant Hotel. Just got home after a wonderful holiday. This was the 8th time we have stayed at The Gran, and as always we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are so polite and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

I am appalled with the service at this hotel. My mum is currently at the hotel. This is supposedly a 5 star hotel more like 3 star. Which 5 star hotel charges for tea and coffee in guest bedrooms. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels, tea and coffee and water in the room has always been complimentary, the hotel have advised my mum this is not the case it's free obky for the first day of arrival! No where on the website does it state this.
At a 5 star hotel since when do you have to pay to use the jacuzzi? Yes you pay for spa treatments but pool, jacuzzi and steam room is usually complimentary right or wrong? Very disappointed.

I was dubious about booking here when I read some of the reviews, but I needn't have worried it was fantastic!
First time in a hotel with my 1 year old. The staff were attentive, friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. My baby boy adored all the attention!
The hotel itself was lovely, comfortable, great swimming pools, plenty of sun loungers and good location to the motorway, bus stops and shopping centres. The food was very good with a great variety to choose from including children's selection.
I managed to use the spa and have a couple of treatments; again a fantastic service and very relaxing.
We got to see several shows during our stay and our favourite was Johnny Circus! He was incredibly funny and entertaining.

The hotel is not new but decent. There is a nudist area.

Currently enjoying our 2nd stay here and so far both have been excellent. The hotel is quite large with lots of different areas to sit and relax, meaning it never feels crowded. All areas of the hotel are kept very clean with cleaners seen working throughout the day and evening. The food is very good with lots of variation through the week. We really enjoyed the pasta bar. Most of all what made our holiday was the excellent, hard working and caring staff. I'm sure we will return in the future.

Good hotel built on a hill side so lots of different levels. Most rooms are sea view. Good food but not a huge choice of different things to eat everyday. Heated pool was excellent. Don't bother paying extra for the Level.

Having stayed at Costa Adeje gran many, many times we feel it's home from home. From the minute we arrive we are made to feel welcome. Room is always clean and flowers, chocs, champagne etc are always in our room. The staff are absolutely fabulous, hardworking and courteous. Service is always great. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done to everyone involved with the day to day running of Costa Adeje Gran.

Totally recommended. The best, the service and the buffet. The staff is very friendly and always willing to fix any problem, with a smile always. It has entertainment for children and adults, swimming pools, restaurants, definitely a place to repeat. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Have stayed there twice and would definetly stay again. Very clean, fantastic choice of food and good entertainment. Just one or two gripes that need addressing if it wants to call itself five star. The hot food needs to be kept hot. The internet often falls away.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 12 times over the years. It isn't the nicest 5 star hotel by a long shot but for the price its fantastic. Rooms are large, pool are is great with loads of sunbeds. The buffet area was renovated a couple of years ago the selection of food is fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms on the low level to the right have a fab garden area that extends your room. Sometimes the gates are locked staff will open them up for you though. Its just across from the market that opens twice a week in the car park which is worth a little look. There are shops just a stones throw down the (steep) hill and a short walk from there is the beach. Honestly worth a visit, there is a reason I keep going back.

Excellent hotel and facilities, the best the friendly treatment of the staff always always ready, the buffet large and varied quite a lot of live cooking areas The deal is great, you do everything you ask with gusto, the service of the waiters very efficient is They agree on all your preferences on the second day, it's a very familiar hotel. The guests, mostly foreign families, are very respectful thing to thank, although the question of reservations of hammocks is a subject pending, have many spaces designed for the little ones, the night entertainment is very good especially when They have live DJ sessions, as observation should improve the all inclusive, there are many things not included otherwise great!

Great Hotel excellent service, breakfast and dinner with rich varied buffet and of excellent quality. The staff is polite and very helpful, requests are processed immediately. Every night there is a show to entertain guests of a good standard. It's the third time I've been back here… it's a great holiday value for money.

Absolutely love this hotel. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. As other people have mentioned the breakfast is an experience a cornucopia of culinary delights! Rooms beautiful what more can you need!

We are currently enjoying our fifth holiday at this hotel which probably says it all. The Gran is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The rooms are really spacious and the whole establishment is always spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated in a lovely location close to the beach and some great shopping centres with many designer brands. The area is very modern, clean and well maintained. The food in the hotel is fabulous — the standard is extremely high — one the reasons we keep coming back. The staff responsible for all aspects of the management of the hotel are obviously well trained and deliver a very efficient service. This year we received a very generous "gift" from the hotel — a bottle of sparkling white wine and some chocolates which was a lovely surprise. This is an indication of how the hotel values it's guests and the standard of the service. The Gran fully deserves it's 5 star status and we certainly be back. Next year.

Really beautiful. I can't find words to describe how fantastic this structure is. Super efficient staff, great restaurants, spotless and spacious rooms. Nothing to plead for. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a wellness holiday you feel really pampered.

The pool area is a great suntrap. Takes a bit of time to build up but by about 12 it's roasting! Food is great, we were half board so totally which is infinitely cheaper than all inclusive. Staff are really polite and the shows were actually brilliant. Johnny Circus is the an amazing act! Drink isn't overly priced and happy hour (half price drinks) is from half 7 to half 8. Great hotel. Will be back.

This hotel is great… My husband injured his leg and they have been so helpful… providing a Zimmer and changing rooms to be closer to amenities. The service is always provided with a smile and the food is great. The hotel is spotless and there are lots of activities if you want them. I will come again.

Beautiful hotel, great for kids and for elder quieter couples as hotel is very large. Great swimming pools and sports services for people of all ages. Happy hour and kids club timing is a favourite of the family's. Brilliant night here on new year if not looking for a crazy night.

I highly recommend elegant fine cuisine and nightly musical shows and professional piano bar.

Well-intentioned 3, very unfriendly staff at the pool and restaurant, otherwise it could be cleaner. Facility obsolete. In the bathroom the valves are dissolved, and the bed linen is holes. This hotel has long lost its charm.

Only arrived yesterday the room is excellent with a great view of the pool and sea definitely worth the upgrade, food lovely and staff friendly, weather cloudy but warm but who cares its snowing back at home haha, looking forward to our private spa day and massage.

The food is wonderful and the rooms also, but the best is definitely the common areas of the hotel, it seems brought from some oriental paradise.

A beautiful hotel for parties, weddings or to spend a holiday with sea views.

Why only 1 star? We booked a suite in a 5 star hotel Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The furnishing of the suite seems to us like the 70s. The furniture is already very old and scuffed in addition, there is only one socket in the suite for loading smartphone, tablet, camera or laptop. The second outlet only works when the light is on? Unfortunately, there are no USB ports either. The room service is more bad than right to cleanliness will not put so much value our mirrors in the suite were not cleaned at all. Even if room service has wiped the floor we will get dirty and sandy feet after a short time. In the bathroom we have to fret over loose faucets hanging from the wall, you should touch them with caution. Even a good night's sleep is not to be thought at all at open windows since every evening a very noisy entertainment program runs, always until 11pm. Oh, and if you think you would have booked the suite for yourself… Puff cake, they share the suite with ants, woodlice and cockroaches. A very rich breakfast buffet is to be mentioned.

A very nice 5 star hotel. Separate pool on the roof (for adults). Large pool area on floor 0. There are plenty of beds available at the beginning of November. Staff very friendly, but also sometimes slightly too fast (during the meal, the plate is removed very quickly). The staff is well equipped to speak English. Hotel in general very well maintained. Rooms could still tolerate a pinch of cleanliness. Location: Very close to the promenade and the beach. Near the hotel there are many supermarkets and the weekly market (Thursday and Saturday).

Then we stayed with a 3 year old girl only with breakfast.

Fabulous hotel, excellent service all round. Food is delicious, went to the on site hotel La. Lata, service was exceptionally good, food devine. Our room is a very large room, kept clean by the cleaners, evening entertainment is fantastic. On arrival we had drinks and everything was explained to us, first time here, we'll be coming back. It's lovely seeing the chef cooking your food so many different things to choose from. You could never be bored. Our wedding anniversary meal they took it to the next level perfection. Reception so helpful new there job. We're still here for another ten days, fabulous can't rate it enough, thank you so much, to you all fabulous place, take care.

Beautiful hotel, hard working staff who keep this hotel looking and running so well. Great pools and nice to see the sunbed rules applied. Would like to see a section of the hotel made completely non smoking we had an avid chain smoker in the next room which meant we couldn't really sit on our balcony or have the door open without the stink from his cigarettes filling the room, but the only negative for me. Food was plentiful and tasty, entertainment was good and service from all sectors was excellent would definitely return. Adeje itself also very nice, not as crowded as the other main resorts and kept very heat.

Rooms and beds are great. Pools are nice and big. Food is very very average if not sub par, however there is a large variety. Overall nice if not overpriced.

Very nice hotel. The hotel is not overflowing and you will always find a free sun bed at the three pools. The staff are very friendly, the buffet has something for everyone. The food is delicious throughout, especially the Al La carte restaurant la Laja.

Costa Adeje Gran Hotel is a tree of great thickness. Outstanding on all points of view, really very hard to find negative points. Very well decorated with excellent ornamental tastes that never jarre. First-order staff with always kind and efficient ways at all times. At the restaurant we eat very well with excellent dishes, because rightly even the eye wants its part. I gave four stars because you can do more and more and you never have to lower your guard. I will definitely go. I recommend it to all.

Located in the heart of Adeje close to many shops and a short walk to the beach. The hotel is 5 star and just what you expect for 5 stars. The food is excellent and service is second to none. Every aspect of the hotel is 5 star.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent facilities for both couples and families. Rooms are a large and comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Food us very good and staff are wonderful. Anyone thinking about coming should just book up now!

Nice rooms, large Pool, a little away from the hustle and bustle.

Great location. It's not a 5 star, but it is a good 4 star. Rooms are a little tired but comfortable. Restaurant is OK but tough to eat there for week! Good breakfast. Rooms lacks some basics. Eg iron, kettle, mini bar. These are chargeable extras!

Spent a lovely week here jan 2016, lovely big clean. Room great views from balcony, sea and pool view (room 495), lovely hotel and facilities, busy at breakfast time but to be expected as large hotel, but not a problem, was half board, food was lovely, would definitely re book this hotel.

What a fabulous hotel this is. Couldn't fault it. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, the staff were polite and courteous at all times. We will definitely be going back next year.
