Ideal place for a quiet holiday. With walking access to a small sandy beach. The house "The river" very nice and cozy. You have to take into account what bioclimatic house means. Very close to the South Airport, and therefore you can hear enough airplanes.

A quiet and stylish place, ideal to relax and unwind for a couple of days. The speed of the Internet is impressive. Tranquility in a spacious and well-furnished space.

If you have a car (rent), some tolerance to airplanes and wind power generators noises (when the wind blows), the place is idilic. Nice and efficient house architectures with plenty of space in and around.

Can be something fresh when it's fresh. Futuristic settlement in dilapidated wind farm.

Fantastic example of a sustainable village with 5000+ panels, 25 windmills, beautifull energy neutral houses.

Very nice apartment houses 500 to 800 meters from the sea. All houses are ecologically designed and generate the energy themselves. Since Tenerife can become very hot in summer, it also depends on a conception for the refrigeration of the houses. This was very well solved in our house. High walls without direct windows towards the South do not leave the heat in the house. A courtyard surrounded by a high wall allows enough light to occur without the heat. My bathroom window was in the south, but so bricked that it caught light indirectly from the east. Above the living-dining area was a large concrete ceiling, which was also directed towards the east and certainly takes a long time to heat up. We were three and everyone had their own room and bathroom. With two rooms it was only accessible directly from the room. A generous kitchen and three terraces facing east rounded off the concept of the House El Bernegal. Would love to come back. The point deduction is available for the lunar landscape and industrial neighbourhood, as well as the flight noise starting tomorrow.

Stayed here as part of a work event, so not a holiday. The accommodation is excellent, while the eco appeal is huge as it's all off grid. If you're looking for a remote spot, it's great, but be prepared for the whistling of the wind turbines.

Beyond the houses in itself, a spectral place and not at all hospitable, between oil rigs and wind turbines.

Nice bioclimatic houses, good views and an ecological facility.

We had a fabulous stay in Casas Bioclimaticas for 10 days at the end of October. The wind turbines are so beautiful to watch and listen to as the sun sets, and the view across to Gran Canaria in the morning is stunning. El Medino is a lovely lively town a short drive by car away with some great restaurants, we even found a great vegan restaurant there! The little private beach was gorgeous too. Would love to return again :)

For the price that comes out should be fumigated, I woke up with a cockroach in bed, the 3 rooms with large cockroaches hiding through the openings of the walls, we were 3 days without being able to sleep quiet …

Living outside the buzz of southern Tenerife not far from an industrial zone (the complex itself is actually quiet) may not be for everyone. But this place with its fascinating, diverse houses was really amazing. You had better have a car when you stay here, because there is next to nothing in walking distance. But on the other hand, you have a peaceful place, a nearly private beach, a place for barbecue and 2 dozen private houses that could not be more diverse. They all showcase different ways to live ecologically and in style. I hope to be back some day, seriously missing this place…

Great buildings and amazing views.

Every house is different, unique, and chic. Excellent locale to disconnect and absorb nature. Highly recommended.

Most likely the best holiday hideout.

First thing the positive things: amazing location next to a national park with a volcanos and quiet beaches within a few minutes walk. Architecture of every house is really unique and the houses are really livable. Furthermore it is impressive to learn more about how ITER and the houses are working towards a low impact living and production of sustainable production of energy. Only drawbacks are the proximity to the airport which gives quite some noice during peak hours. One more drawback is close proximity to a very ugly industrial harbor area. Finally I would wish that the houses where a bit more handicap friendly as we where traveling with a disabled person and there where a bit too many steps while it would have seemed simply to have placed a ramp there instead. All in all one of he most wonderful places I have stayed and I can highly recommend it for couples as well as families looking for beautiful nature and tranquility.

ITER's bioclimatic houses are well located if you are looking for peace and tranquility. Overlooking the sea and clearly very close to this for your enjoyment. There are quite large houses and some not so much. A whimsical design, mostly very nice and making the most of its geographical location for your comfort. Incredible.

24 houses, all different and special. They are very cosy, with a perfect decor. The setting is super quiet and breezy. It's perfect for disconnecting.

Canaries islands are famous for amazing weather, I've seen to much urbanization and places overcrowded. I was looking for the opposite situation, I wanted to have a break from the busy London and fortunately ITER VILLAGE gave me all I needed. A modern house/hotel surrounded of nature, close to the ocean and airport. I will return there.
