Accommodation is simply equipped but fantastically located at the vertex of the famous Masca Bay, the owner is as friendly as it is helpful.
Masca itself is a small mountain village that used to live in agriculture. Today, day guests determine the rhythm, either enjoying the wonderful view of the bay or hiking to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
Masca is ideal for trips to Puerto de la Cruz (Loro Parque), Siam Park or Teide National Park, but a car — despite bus — a must. The arrival and departure of Santiago del Teide as spectacular would be still understated. It is an optical delicacy and adventure at the same time.
Have enjoyed following a hike or excursion with one or other glass of Rioja and tapas on the terrace overlooking the Gorge, Atlantic and (sometimes with clear view) neighboring island La Gomera to finish the day.
