Villa Finca El Drago Hotel

Marvelous place, a paradise. Small adjustments to be made to make it perfect. My 4th visit need I say it is one to keep?

We rented the Casa Don Carlos, for 4 people, with 2 large rooms: At least 25m2 each, but what impresses the most is the ceiling height! At least 3.5 m! The 2 rooms are on the north side, on a large terrace, overlooking Puerto de La Cruz, and, therefore, the ocean beyond the city … the Same for the large fully equipped kitchen which has its own small terrace … all of this below, since the north slope is definitely steep! In the apartment everything is great, clean, with nice furniture in the living room and bedrooms. The bathroom with shower, bathtub, wc, bidet and double basin is a little dated, but nickel, as the cleaning is done every day from Monday to Friday! There is also a TOILET/bidet separate extra! The casa overlooks the swimming pool on the south side (this is the door that you see on the photo) … And we took our breakfast on all days of beautiful weather at the edge of the water! In January we were not able to bathe only once … The outside temperature should be about 20-22°C, the water hardly more than this, despite the mouths of hot water! And most of all, a park is exceptional! The botanical garden of Puerto de la Cruz has nothing to envy … Or almost! A splendor! … We were able to pick lemons for our juice morning! The staff who takes care of maintenance is discrete and effective. Special Mention to Cori that we've seen all day: Always smiling and of good advice on the visits! Short!

Centrally located but quiet. With tennis court and pool. Beautiful views of Puerto de la Cruz and the sea.

Very friendly family business. Rooms are cleaned every day and the atmosphere is super relaxed. Perfect vacation apartments. Amazing gardens. Free parking and internet. We will be back! Lucy is amazing…

This is our 3rd stay at El Drago (2nd over Christmas). Whilst it's a good walk away from Orotava and Puerto, we love the place — it's always been quiet (only 6 villa's in total) and although we have young children (12&6), the setting offers a wonderful and adventurous garden, outdoor pool, sauna and tennis. As long as you don't seek the company of many, and are comfortable with an idyllic small and rural setting, you will not be disappointed with the large villa's decorated in a collonial style. If you fancy going on holiday with additional family and friends — try villa 5 which offers vast accommodation for 10.

We were there in November and we liked everything. The service was great, everything was clean and was cleaned every day. We were there for four and said we were coming back!

Awesome place, friendly folks running it, and great for big groups if you take the whole thing. Even better for a wedding. :-)
