➜ Modern. Guests can dine well in the restaurant. We were prepared picnic for breakfast. Very varied. Very attentive with pilgrims.
This hotel is on the edge of a email city/large town of 14, 000 people and everything you need is within walking distance (shops, restaurants, ATMs, pharmacies, plazas, walking trails, etc. ) It is a bit further from the Camino de Santiago, but the location really is not bad in relation to everything else there is to see and do in Estella. In fact, I appreciated not being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the center of town where it can get quite disruptive at night. I found the room to be clean and exactly as described on the booking site. Of note for folks used to American hotels, there is no microwave, coffee pot, or mini fridge in the room. Downstairs they do have a bar and a restaurant though, with delicious and reasonably priced food. The staff were friendly — I fell and sprained my ankle out and about one day, and they kindly gave me ice for free and they also put my gel pack in the freezer and asked about my ankle and how I was doing every day thereafter. There is an elevator and even though I do not think that the rooms would be considered handicap accessible, I found it very easy to get in and out of the walk-in shower and maneuver my way around the room.
