Great location to be in. The staff were super lovely and friendly. When booking through booking. Com the description said hot tub on large private terrace. We didn’t get that on arrival so a little disappointed. Room was a little dated and the bed albeit huge was very hard and uncomfortable. Our car parking was not free it cost 9€ a day.

The hotel is well located, just 10 minutes walk from the center of Cartagena and all the historical monuments, the only drawback is the neighborhood: it gives the feeling of being quite marginal and unsafe, yet I walked around it quite and I had no problem.
The hotel room was very spacious and overlooking the street, however it had a lot of dust and needed a good hand of paint.
The best thing about my stay at this hotel was the treatment of the staff, because despite arriving a couple of hours before the check-in time we tried to provide a room as soon as possible and the breakfast buffet.
It's ok for a short stay of a couple of days.

We were lucky enough that due to occupation, instead of giving us the triple room we had requested, we were given a superior room with terrace. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was also to our liking and cheap. No complaints.

Spacious rooms, a large bath, very clean, the staff was friendly and could talk english. The only problem was that the hairdryer was old and malfunctioning, and the jacuzzi was also in a not very good condition. Another thing was that our room had no view and it was very dark, with only one small window. Maybe in other rooms would have been better.

I really liked your situation: close to the train, buses, parking for cars; I liked the situation of the hotel is a very nice walk to get to the promenade.

Hotel Los Habaneros is situated in the center of beautiful Cartagena. We came to this hotel after two weeks in one star hotels and hostals in various Spanish cities, and it felt very luxorious as we entered the door and were greeted by the reception with very polite staff. The room was very big, with lots of space and a little balcony overlooking the city. I guess some of the furnitures have seen better days, and especially the beds are quite hard and old, but overall the hotel is very good. And I definitely recommend the breakfast buffet.

I have stayed in this hotel two times and I liked. Rooms are different in space, in wireless network intensity, in the noise and the view. My first time I stayed in the top floor and the room is VERY GOOD, the second time I stayed in 1st floor and the room was not so good, the Wi-Fi is weak the noise was a problem to trying sleep. I think for the money is not bad but if you will stay in this hotel choose ALWAYS the suite in top floor. Breakfast was good and have many choice. The staff was very good and sympathetic.

Good hotel. I didn't like the receptionist on the phone. Well, he got me in trouble passing a private information to a call. It's supposed to. That customers have to have their intimacy. If you get a room to the street, you have beautiful look to the city. If not it can be noisy and not inspiring. Breakfest is good.

Musty smell the minute you walk into room. On very busy road which makes it very noisy. Not a very nice area. However staff very friendly, 10 minutes walk into centre, beds comfortable, shower bathroom grand. Place could do with an overhaul.

Rooms were nice. I was in a triple room with one extra bed in the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was tasty, although I did get an electric shock from the toaster.

Bad smell in the rooms.

Hotel now old, to renovate. Our spacious room was humid and smelly, smelling of mildew, the old bathroom and ancient also looked little clean but maybe it was an impression. Parking is located in a residual courtyard of a collapsed or demolished building, the cost of parking is €7, 00/day.

While generally enjoyed the stay, we were given the ground floor rare room next to a car park which was also a walk though for people which disturbed our privacy. We had to ensure we have curtains closed reducing the intake of light. The curtains themselves were eaten by moles. I have removed everything apart from bottom sheets on the bed as the blanket didn't feel washed. I have found peanuts on the floor in the bathroom when I closed the door and hair in the bath. Everything else was fine, please give staff time to clean properly! It is however a beautiful hotel with cheap dinner deals which we didn't unfortunately have time to enjoy and in good location. Parking a car in this location is a problem. Quality hotels have their own car park without a 10 euro charge on top.

The next day was my birthday and I decided to celebrate with friends and family at the restaurant of this hotel. Even though we had reserved in a lounge at the last minute I asked them to go on the terrace since it was very good time. They treated my request with much kindness and dinner came out great. I then learned for other comments on the internet that there has been a change of owners recently and the truth is that without a doubt it has been for the better. Excellent hotel. I just be 6 nights and stay has been perfect. We were assigned a room in the new part, on the second floor, with a beautiful view towards the outside patio and facade of the Polytechnic University, always well illuminated. The double room which gave us was pathetic!, rather own a pension than a hotel of three stars. Mattresses and pillows for the beds were very uncomfortable!. Had a small window high in the wall leaving to get some light!, but it seemed a hideout than a room!. Horrible!. But worst of all were the noises. Muchiisimos noise from room above. Constant and very very annoying noise I had a terrible headache and when you arrive at the terrible room, my surprise was greater when disgusting noises did not stop to listen in several hours. He went to complain to reception and treatment of man was dry, stupid and nothing decisive. He merely said that it was very rare that you will hear those noises and that he could do nothing pk didn't know that customer was hotel, and neither could offer us no alternative room because no les kedaba no free. Ke bad luck we had with the hotel, room and the receptionist friendly!. A big disappointment in my stay in cartagena to see party Carthaginians and Romans. Never again to that hotel and will never recommend it to anyone. Was pathetic, horrible and to forget it as soon as possible. Sat me not comfortable at any time.
