I am only just experiencing this hotel in Cartagena and, as yet cannot give my opinion on pricing, structure and value for money although it is spacious and very clean… but I will! Instead I must bring to your attention, immediately, because it deserves recognition from a traveller in this selfish cynical world who is awakened by the generous and giving attention from a fellow mortal to another, me, without thought of self or financial gain. On arrival to this hotel from a BHX/MJV I was installed in room 415 and went sbout unpacking before showering, however, I quickly realised that my new iPad was not evident… no matter how I looked it was not going to materialise (the disembarking plane procedure unfolded in my memory and my iPad remained on my 12C seat! ) What to do other than contact my flight operators Ryanair! I reintroduced myself to the back-shift receptionist, ANTONIO GALVACHE, as the idiot in 415 who has now left his iPad on the plane. Speaking and understanding excellent English to overcome, my non-lingual abilities, he contacted Ryanair, Murcia (after three menu programmed evasions to wrong number) and got me the attention of Johanna at Ryanair… no luck nothing was found after her attempts to source the missing item. At ANTONIO'S insistence I left my mobile number and hotel number … just in case? Luck was with me she contacted me an hour later to inform me that a member of aircrew and services had found it and put it in the safe for security and I am posting this comment on my now returned iPad. Thank you Ryanair and Johanna! However I have to commend to interested travellers the pleasure in appreciating selfless understanding and concerned support when we so easily " come-a-cropper" in foreign fields and are rescued by a generous ANTONIO… Thanks M8 GREG FLEMING.
