Nice and clean hotel. Perfect location to the ocean with amazing beach for snorkling. Friendly staff, Simon from the pool bar is outstanding and welcoming. My family and I can highly recommend this hotel / resort.

We had a lovely time in the Suite 303 (I would really). The food was very tasty and the staff is very friendly. The small Bay for swimming in a few minutes. All was well manageable. The staff at the front Desk was very helpful and has even given tips. We will come back…

We are coming for the 2nd time on 20th June and can't wait. Hopefully we will be given a two storey apartment again overlooking the pool as this was superb.

Great hotel, very attentive and charming staff, from the cleaning people, to the waiters and cooks, passing by the receptionist. The food, excellent.

A really good hotel! Very nice rooms, which offer enough space especially with children. The pool area is also beautifully designed (space for swimming but also flat areas for children). We had half board and the food in the hotel had a wide selection of classics (salad bar, pasta, pizza, ice cream, …) but also many typical dishes. The staff is extremely friendly from the reception to the chambermaids to the restaurant staff and is always helpful.

We loved this place and we will return.

The room was clean and the room was good.
Very close to two magnificent beaches Calan Bosch and Son Xoriguer and two minutes from the lake of Calan Bosch, small marina with Mediterranean atmosphere.
Highly recommended especially at the beginning and end of the season. May and September/October.

Very nice hotel complex, very many suites. Over 2 floors, with balconies to the pool — and to the landing side. Very friendly staff.
Parking in front of the house.
Very nice dining room.
But the dinner could be a little better. You live better here than in the neighboring Valentin Star hotel.
Tip.

Lovely hotel, a bit old fashioned but well kept. Only negative is price of drinks and that you have to pay for water.

It is a place with an impressive scenery, with a very professional staff, the dining room has a great variety of food, in general it is a hotel of quite quality.

We stayed at the Macarella for the second time this summer. It's a lovely hotel: very clean and comfortable with welcoming, friendly and professional staff. The pool is large and spotlessly clean, with plenty of sunbeds available. The food is excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel is located very close to the beach and marina but is also very quiet. Ideal for a relaxing stay!

We absolutely loved this hotel! When we arrived we were surprised with a 2 bedroom apartment rather than just 1 bedroom, and it was so spacious and immaculately clean. Very effective air conditioning in rooms too. The pool area was excellent — no reserved loungers, and we could always watch our children in the pool which had a good balance between safe shallow areas for little ones, and a deeper end for older children and adults. The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was superb — best I've had in a hotel, and the pool bar served good food, and better cocktails. Maid service every day and even pool towels provided twice a week which you were allowed to take to the beach too. Loved every minute of this stay. It was relaxing, stress-free, and high quality. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

I always say the good hotels are made great by their staff. This is so true of the Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa. Everyone staff member we met was friendly, keen to please and happy. The level of housekeeping and maintenance is extremely high, the hotel is spotless. The staff at the pool bar were very welcoming. My family stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was very good. Reports from people staying on a half board basis were really complimentary about the food. I took a walk through the restaurant one night and it looked like a great spread. The pool is perfect for kids, with a gradual / safe slope. There is also a lifeguard which is reassuring. Overall an amazing hotel. I have a few minor niggles: The hotel charges for Wi-Fi,, I think this is a bit out dated. If you're going to charge for Wi-Fi it should be reliable and fast. I have to say it was a little patchy. Charging for the use of a safe? €20 a week is a bit much. Ice Creams… This might sound petty, but charging €4 for an icecream that cost €1.5 at a restaurant down the road sounds like a bad business model. I'd expect to pay a premium in such a great hotel, but that's a little heavy. Drop the price and I'm sure you'll sell loads more.

Fantastic Hotel, just going home today after a fantastic week at this hotel, the room was first class and the staff were great, we could not complain about a thing. Thankyou.

We have been to this hotel 3 times in the past 4 years and really like it. It is a quiet hotel so don't go if you want to party or have lots of entertainment laid on as it is not that sort of place, but if you want a relaxing holiday around the pool or at the beach then it is excellent. The food is good and the staff are all excellent and we have seen the same staff year after year, which is a good sign to me! The hotel is well looked after and all the public areas are very well maintained. Some of the fixtures and fittings in the room are getting a bit past it and could do with replacing, hence only giving it 4 out of 5 but on the whole it is good.

Complex for relaxation and pars enjoyment, a buffet without the same very high quality and impeccable service, huge rooms, pools and places to play for the kids, show music every night, good quality of the cocktails, the vdd that is highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in every way. The rooms are suites. With separate dining room. Perfect for when you're going with child. It is a perfect hotel for the family.
Unbeatable service, are so kind as to how it had not seen in years. The correct Spa. Very careful, big pool. And new and quality hammocks.
