Fab place to stay. Great staff and good food.

Very nice hotel, receptionists and staff in general very attentive and very nice, very good cuisine, and above all very well located. And our room overlooking the pool. I'll be back the next time I visit Menorca. An amazing holiday…

Lovely excellent staff great location.

Having just returned home from a wonderful few days once again at the Xaloc, I would just like to thank you for making our stay so special. As always all your staff are so courteous and helpful — nothing is too much trouble. My only regret is that our stay couldn't be longer. I hope it will not be too long before we visit again.

We've stayed here in the past a few times. This time we only called in for lunch. Maybe not the first choice for many, but the quality and value for money is hard to beat.

Beautiful hotel in a nice setting. All the staff are very friendly too.

Very good hotel, rooms and facilities. There is a very good and big swimming pool with some free Watertoys to play with. There is always place to lie next to the pool. You can also get free parasols to the beach. The hotel is just 2 minutes to the beach crossing a small street. There are many good Spanish restaurants (not touristic) along the coast. Everything very close to the hotel. There is also free mini golf and some free shows in the night. The only bad thing I found was that they did not give us new shower gel and shampoo when it was over and I do not understand why we had to ask for it everyday.

It doesn't offer great amenities and lacks fridge in room… the staff does not speak Italian.
Good general cleaning.

Lovely ckean warm pool and very clean hotel. Refurb rooms nice. Staff great. Location across road from beach great. Food not so gd, pork like shoe leather, basic food and drinks not included. I thought that tgey cud at least provide a coffee after dinner. Coke at bar weak, doesnt taste right. Cocktails too strong and taste horrid.

As always an excellent hotel. Super nice staff.
Breakfast everything it takes. All clean. Double room with sea view… (every morning a dream when getting up).
Will go back to Xaloc Playa in July 2019 :-)

Second and not last visit to this litte gem of a hotel. Staff brilliant. Rooms and grounds imaculate. Food fresh and of a good standard. Prices for drinks inside hotel really reasonable €3 a pint €1.80 a coffee. Daily lunchtime specials (wonderful paella €5.50). We will definatley be returning for our 3rd visit.

First time in Menorca, and can’t fault the Island and Xaloc Playa. Wonderful caring staff, good food, spacious and very clean rooms, wonderful place to stay.

This is our 14year at xaloc playa I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

We have visited this fabulous hotel for the past 14 years we love this family run hotel the staff are friendly and work so hard food is good the hotel is very clean.

Good location close to the beach, walking accessible shopping, very friendly helpful staff, prices moderate, food okay, no sophisticated kitchen, rooms good, newly renovated, rather quiet, with exceptions. Punta Prima is a good starting point for all kinds of excursions. Hotel Wi-Fi works badly.

Just awesome. Very nice and helpful staff. Room clean. Great plant. Hurrah, even children are welcome there.

The Xaloc is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach and has many regular guests. The front desk and restaurant staff is helpful, friendly and mostly multilingual. The rooms are simply equipped, quite spacious and clean.
Breakfast — and dinner buffet are varied and delicious.

Great hotel, food, location & staff… only downsides are, there are not enough power points in rooms, if you're coming here, take a 3 or 4 point small extension lead… sounds silly, but you'll be glad you did. You have to pay for internet in the rooms but not in reception, so didn't really mind that. So much choice food wise… my wife is a fussy eater, but no problem for her. Punta Prima was too quiet & too small for us, we're not party animals by any stretch, but it is extremely small & quiet, but hey, some people like that. Weather was superb for mid October, about 25 all week. Oh the pool was freezing, mostly because it's shaded from the sun by a million trees most of the day this time of year so the sun doesn't warm up the water, saying that, the gardens are lovely… plenty of greenery.

Nice hotel, in a great and quiet environment, right next to the beach. Ideal for relaxation. The staff is very accommodating, nice and always in a good mood. The majority can be English and German. Our bungalow was clean and nice, the mattresses very well suited for my band discs and mint. In case of problems, a quick help was given. The drinks prices are Ordsüblich, the food offer is absolutely sufficient. There are meat and fish, various encampments, such as rice and noodles. There is also a salad bar where you can put together the sauces yourself. As dessert, there are cakes, pudding, ice cream and fresh fruit. Entertainment is available several times a week. All in all I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel, staff extremely friendly, very clean in all areas, lovely pool area and well kept gardens. Food is quite varied you can always find something to eat. Great location just a stones throw from the beach. Would return without hesitation. Definately recommend.

We returned for the 16th time and to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. At a location we love and among staff who are kind, attentive and counted as friends. Thank you all. So very much.

Great location with a beach, restaurants and supermarket within a walking distance. Room is clean. There is no dedicated parking, but street parking was not difficult to find. Doesn't provide usual hotel amenities, such as bottle openers etc, but overall not bad. Swimming pool is great.

Been coming here since 2012 and absolutely love it.? Rooms are basic but have air conditioning and are always clean. Very quiet hotel which is ideal for family's. If you're looking for a wild booze filled holiday please stay away from the Xaloc, if you want a relaxing break with the family and a few social glasses of wine at night then this is the place to come.? Staff are hard working and are like friends now… Fantastic place all round.

Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space. The pool area whilst compact is perfect for families and couples alike. It is accross the road from the beach and the town centre. But its greatest attribute must be its staff. They are meticulous in their efforts to make your holiday enjoyable and memorable. Polite, efficient and friendly. Thank you Hotel Xaloc.

The most fabulous, hard-working, happy and friendly staff in the whole of Menorca and we have many, many holidays there. The view. The gorgeous sunrise. The hearty lunch from the pool bar. The best value, branded drinks also in the whole of Menorca. A spotlessly clean hotel, especially our room. We had a wonderful stay here and we'll definitely be coming back!

I love it. The people that work here are awesome. I won't name them all individually, but I will say, they are a great bunch. Lovely pool, great food and beach within 50 metres. You can't ask for anything more.

The Hotel is very nice for the stars it has and the rooms were always in order.
Very close to the beach tip first, only pity that it was a bit dirty with seaweed at that time.
Another thing we didn't like was dinner, with international food not of our liking.
In General quality good price, friendly and helpful clientele.

The Xaloc is a lovely place to stay, We've stayed here many times and never been disappointed. It's a very friendly family run Hotel, only a few meters away from the beach, local restaurants, and shops. The rooms the are comfortable and clean as is the rest of the Hotel. The gardens and landscape are also very well maintained also. The staff here are all so friendly and always happy to help make your stay a happy one. There is entertainment 3/4 time's a week, leaving you free on other evenings to just relax, maybe make some new friends, or catch up with old ones. Either way you should have an enjoyable stay at the Xaloc.

A real gem, a basic hotel, run by a really friendly team of staff who can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Clean. Well maintained. A really good spread of food for breakfast and evening meals. Every day had a different selection. two minutes from the beach. Excellent bus service to Mahon, and anywhere on the island. would go back for a week any day.

The staff at theHotel Xaloc Playa both frendly and very helpful. The rooms may not be huge, but they are just right for the amount of time that you will spent in them, and are kept clean, as is the whole complex. My husband and I have stayed there 3 times and have never been disapointed. There is entertainment on most nights, and when theres not you are always welcome to visit other hotels in the area to see whats on there. Afew monents walk to the beatuful beach and local shops and resturants I would really recomend it. Ideal for couples wanting to get away for a late summer break.
