Sindic Hotel

Fabulous 4 night stay in Menorca.
I am in a wheelchair and we had a ground floor room with a shared terrace.
The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to oblige. The breakfast was a delicious range of local and continental produce.
We would easily return.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Modern, well thought out rooms and good breakfast options. The staff were welcoming and very helpful — in particular Sarah on the reception desk.

An exceptional hotel beautifully clean gorgeous breakfast with fresh fruit yoghurt meats and cheeses. We were even asked what type of bread would we like in the morning. The owner and staff were so lovely we were lucky to be in Mahon for the festival can't wait to return to this stunning hotel. Bron and best friend Jen thank you.

A stunning hotel centrally placed for exploring Mahon. We were fortunate to be there for the Festival which made our visit extra special. The rooms are immaculate comfy bed large walk in shower and a jacuzzi. The roof top plunge pool is an added bonus. What can I say about the staff? They are amazing so helpful. The breakfast buffet is freshly prepared and you can have a choice of freshly baked bread to your preference. We loved the daily offering also with some home baked delicacies. My friend enjoyed the sweet pastries for me the savoury options were outstanding. Finally we saw the owner every day and she made sure everything was all right for us. The love and care that has been put into the development of this hotel is truly fabulous. Sending grateful thanks Bron and Jen from UK visited from 5th till 8th September.

What a lovely hotel. It is a small hotel but the room is spacious. Everything works. The staff are lovely and helpful.

Lovely family-run hotel in the heart of the city, very close to the centre and, for our trip, just 100 metres from the centre of the fiesta Mare de Déu de Gràcia.
All the staff, especially Martina, were extremely kind & helpful, overseen by the owner, Gracia, who also welcomed her to her open-house celebration on the evening of the main fiest event.
The rooms are very comfortable (especially the bed! ), spacious and well-appointed.
Couldn't fault the hotel for the duration of our weeks' stay, so well done to all and we can thoroughly recommend the Sindic to anyone wanting a good base from which to explore.

Wow wow wow. This amazing boutique hotel in Mahon was perfect in every way. Beautiful inside and out. So glad we stayed here. Here’s why:
Location: Literally in the middle of everything at Plaza Bastio, easy walk to shopping, restaurants, the port.
Staff: professional, friendly, helpful, lots of great advice on beaches, restaurants, etc. Every single person someone you’d love to have dinner with and have as your friend.
Room: large, comfortable, two showers (! ), great air con, comfy beds and linens (made twin beds into one, as requested). We had ground floor with shared terrace great for wet beach stuff.
Rooftop pool: only used it when we arrived late in the day, but a nice amenity.
Breakfast: Fresh baked local pastries, fruit, meats, cheese, juice. Fresh coffee/cappuccino.
Parking: 10 minute walk to garage with voucher for discount (absolutely worth every penny to not look for parking spots)
Other: Honor bar for drinks. Refill water bottles for free. Ice available when you want.

It's all about the location minute walk from shops, restaurants and Hotel located in a historic building.
Great restaurants, shopping, people places to visit.
Tuesday market, and lots of live music around the squares.

The Sindic provide a fantastic breakfast fresh meats, pastries and baked goods, boiled eggs, selection of bread and savoury and sweet preserves, teas and coffee.

We spent a week in Mahon and celebrated our anniversary here. My thoughtful husband had arranged for a bottle of Cava in our room upon arrival; the staff had gone further and left rose petals on the bed — a lovely touch.
We were lucky to be in Room 5 which I’d say has the best outlook from the front of the hotel. We could fault nothing about the room — comfortable bed, pillows, huge double shower and jacuzzi bath (which sadly we never got to try out).
Breakfasts were lovely although a minor criticism would be that there were too many sweet and not enough savoury choices in the buffet breakfast.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful — it would have been even better if we could have received some recommendations about the best places to eat or places to visit.
The hotel is situated very conveniently in the town and it’s not too far down to the harbour. Would recommend and would stay here again.

This is a really lovely charming hotel, full of character. The interior design and decor was beautiful and the owner took great pride in explaining how the building had been in her family for generations before she converted it into this exceptional hotel. There was such a lovely relaxing vibe.
I had emailed in advance to say that we would be arriving at 1500 and was assured that someone would be there to greet us, which they were and we were shown immediately to our room. Very comfortable bed and I liked the twin rain shower, which was very efficient. We also had access to a small shared terrace, which unfortunately we didn´t use as the other couple sharing this space smoked cigarettes. So we opted to use the roof top terrace instead where there was a very comfortable sofa and chairs and TV and also access to the small pool and sunbeds.
Breakfast was delicious. Delicious local bread rolls, fruit, pastries, and cheese/hams etc.
The hotel was also very convenient for walking everywhere and close to some exceptional restaurants, El Romero being just one.

This was the second time we stayed at the Sindic Hotel and it is indeed a lovely hotel. The owner is very gracious and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and always a surprise for what will be sweet and homemade cakes in addition to the usual breakfast fare.
Our room was nicely decorated and had everything we could need. The 4th floor lounge came in handy on a rainy afternoon to hang out and read and watch the rain pour down. This hotel is definitely a reason to come to Mahon!

When booking I noted all the positive reviews and having stayed here a week I can confirm that this is a lovely small hotel st in a lovely location and brilliant staff. Our room was roomy, bright, modern and all well designed, The breakfast was cold meats/cheese/pastries which were beautifully presented with a different local treat. Every day. The roof top lounge with honesty bar was a great asset which we used in when we had a late departure. It would come into its own in hotter weather, the dip pool especially so. The downstairs/breakfast room had a successful contrast of the old and new. Note that being a small hotel there is not 24 hour reception, normally not after 2200.
It took 10 mins from the airport by taxi — 16 euros. We used the local buses for the major towns but reception called up taxis for trips to smaller places.

The Sindic Hotel is the perfect hotel in a perfect location. A small boutique hotel with only 8 rooms and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are amazing, spacious and designed beautifully. We had a deluxe suite with spa bath, double shower, two sinks and two juliete balcony windows with a lovely view onto the main street and city wall archway into Mahon. The rooftop terrace pool and bar was an added bonus to enjoy during our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helped with any information we needed. The hotel is ideally located in Mahon to visit, by foot, all the tourist attractions. Also it is only 8 mins walk to the bus station for all the link routes to other places on the island. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future.
