We loved our 3-night stay. The location was very convenient, right in the centre of Ciutadella, with nearby stores and restaurants just a short walk away. Our room was very clean, and housekeeping was done on our third day.
The staff was attentive, ensuring we had completed our booking information days before our arrival. A lovely surprise awaited us upon check-in … chocolates for my birthday! It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it.
The walls were a bit thin, but it was a minor issue and didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay. If we visit Ciutadella again, we will definitely rebook!
I was supposed to go to Hostal Menurka on September the third, but I had a health problem that I had to go through surgery so I flew back to my country. I contacted the hostel to cancel, even though I had a no refundable reservation, because the app I booked through (booking) said that I had to contact the hostel to ask for a refund since it was an extreme situation. The hostel refused to refund. I am still trying to contact them to ask but honestly I am super disappointed. Being at a hospital and having to endure this situation.

I had a wonderful stay at Hostel Menorca and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ciutadella.
The hostel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of beautiful Ciutadella, within walking distance of everything I wanted to see, including restaurants, shops, and the harbor.
What really made my stay special was the incredibly kind and helpful receptionist. She gave me lots of useful information about the island, beaches, buses, and places to visit, which helped me make the most of my trip. Her recommendations were fantastic and her friendly attitude made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived.
Thank you for such a lovely stay. I would happily come back again on my next visit to Menorca!
