Menorca Experimental

My wife and I got married (and hosted all our family and friends for 3 days) at Menorca Experimental this summer. We feel extraordinarily fortunate for having chosen it as our venue.
The level of service from their team was beyond exceptional. Any time we or our planners overlooked something, their team (shout out to Mirna, Rosa and Jaime) proactively found a way to not just save the day but elevate our experience.
Food: terrific — at least a quarter of our guests said it was the best food they'd had at a wedding (and honestly it was some of the best food we had on the island). The tapas and smaller dinners throughout the weekend were of similar quality. The care they went through to take care of everyone with dietary restrictions (allergies, vegetarians, vegans, the works) was unlike anything I've seen before.
Pool/grounds: beautiful. Expansive, quiet, relaxing. Feels like home and vacation at the same time.
Rooms? Classy and funky in the best way. Feels luxurious without an ounce of stuffiness. Beds are so comfy.
Could not recommend more highly. We already can't wait to go back.

Lovely, well designed hotel. Every detail is thought about and fits really good together. We had a great experience. Service was excellent, dinner was delicious and breakfast buffet with good quality food. Totally worth it and recommended!

We loved everything about this hotel — its fantastic location with direct access to hiking trails, the excellent cuisine, and the outstanding service. A special thanks to Ermita for the warm welcome and thoughtful care. We’ll definitely be back!

Pretty hotel with dreamy pool. Loved the whole vibe. No need to leave during our 3 night trip.
Enjoyed a wonderful small group Pilates and the spa (great massages and steam sauna).
Delicious food and cocktails — service could be patchy at times but we just leaned into it …
We stayed in the Mahon garden room which was very generous and had a great roll top bath.

Exceptional stay at Menorca Experimental. Everything was great. The location, the design, the service, the food. It was truly special. We were particularly impressed by the effort put in by the staff to make you feel welcome and cared for. Outstanding! We will 100% be back!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive and the hotel design is very interesting. The breakfast was great, a little too salty, so make sure to ask for less salt!
We did have a rental car as the property is a little remote.

Just a magical place. The staff/team goes way above and beyond in every way. I will be dreaming about the pool. The secret little hike down to the beach/cove is wonderful. The restaurant is quite good, but not great (we ate there two nights) — so I’d recommend getting a car and making sure you experience more pure play restaurants on the island. The lunch food and some of the fish was really nice especially. We’d recommend having a car because you are still a 30 minute drive from some of the top beaches (coves specifically), but it’s not too far from anything.

A well apppointed hotel in Menorca. The facilities are well designed. The hotel has too many staff given the amount of rooms. It was very difficult to order food. And the service was not very good. We ordered an omelette and it took over 30 minutes to come.

Beautiful setting in the Menorcan countryside. Pool and room were clean, stylish and had all the amenities. Ours did appear to have a slight ant issue and the access road to the hotel needs some serious work. Watch your tires.
The food was truly delicious, although the staff forgot my husband’s breakfast order twice. We were only there for three mornings. Staff weren’t one for apologies either.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to those looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The views from the cliff at sunset are truly spectacular.

We spotted the Hotel and Restaurant on Google maps whilst in Menorca on a family holiday. The lunch menu looked good so we decided to book a table. Whist driving through the main gates and towards the venue it didn't take long to realise this is a very special place indeed. The hotel and restaurant is absolutely stunning and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was amazing and we literally wanted everything off the menu. Afterwards we went for a walk to the cliff edge where the views were incredible. A very good afternoon with good memories.

An incredible meal. We couldn’t recommend this more. The food was out of this world. Seabass cervice was outstanding and the staff were beautifully attentive, even giving us a special honeymoon glass of cava. A laid back but romantic hidden gem. Well worth a visit.

We greatly enjoyed our visit here, staying for four days. The staff did an amazing job of battling with a genuinely 'once every five years' Biblical deluge that unsettled everything (across the Balearics). Food was simple and delicious, perhaps lacking some variety (do they really need to serve exactly the same menu every day? ). The room was beautifully fitted out and super tastefully finished. A few improvements or suggestions: the breakfast was the least impressive part of the catering — not nearly enough fruit options, too much stodgy bakery fare. The lighting on the terrace was perfect in some areas but felt more like a KGB interrogation room in others, it was so evisceratingly bright. The sunloungers were skewed heavily towards lie flat beds: not great for reading or anything other than lying flat. All First World problems for sure, and we will be back. Yet things that could be easily fixed and would benefit the guests.

We only stayed on night but so wish it could have been longer. Stunning hotel in a stunning location and amazing clifftop views only a 10 minute walk away.
We spent a lovely afternoon lounging by the pool, where complimentary fruit skewers were served. We have eaten at many restaurants in Menorca over the years but dinner here is one of the best we have had, breakfast was equally as good. To top it all super friendly staff.

The food was excellent and the service was also really good. Dishes were well thought even if the lamb ribs were a bit burned and lacking salt. Still the best restaurant we tried in Menorca by far.

Came here for a Spa session and lunch with family. Amazing location. Superbly kept and lovely concept (agro-tourism). Loved the place. 👍🏻
