Hotel Millor Sol

Everything was good the room was clean and just a couple of minutes from the beach. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was really good. The staff was very nice, especially the restaurant team. The only small downside was that the rooms aren’t very well soundproofed; we could hear babies crying, people talking, and even snoring from other rooms at night.

Rooms are old fashioned but clean. Balcony is very big and looks over the pool. Food was pretty good and there was variety of choices. Beach is 5-7min away walking in the shade on the street.

The Hotel is located a 5 min walk away from the centre of Cala Millor and is located in a quiet residential area. There are shops within a few minutes walk with Cala Millor providing plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. You can walk to Cala Bona in 15 minutes too, which has a small marina, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel provides a good base to explore the local area. The buffet at breakfast and dinner gave enough options. It was exactly how I expected, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel bar prices are well priced we actually found it cheaper than in the centre. Entertainment is on every night bar Sunday we didn't watch this as prefer to leave the hotel in the evening. Our hotel room was vary spacious and came with a pool view which was lovelyThe hotelel was immaculately clean, too, with rooms being cleaned daily. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: cheap, however unless if you have a fetish for grumpy old Spanish men named Jose you should look elsewhere.
The hotel is moderately priced, so they got that going for them. Rooms and open areas are acceptably clean and it's easy to park on-site or just around the corner.
However staying here is not worth it. Room maintenance is showing signs of aging, the "entertainment" is appealing, resting is not a given as they blast the music and you will hear it loudly from any of the rooms, and if you are deaf, they got you too as they don't allow you to turn off the light off the balcony and the light comes in. Food quality is subpar, tasteless and unhealthy.
And then there is José, the restaurant manager. He clearly hates his job and would rather retire, someone please help him to do so. He is rude beyond recognition, including shouting at my wife for answering with our room number rather than number of people as we arrived to the buffet, telling us that how dare we think we can charge drinks to our room and we must pay each time as people can't be trusted and comment about guests loudly and off tone.
In summary, stay somewhere else and fully enjoy the most amazing island ever.

We stayed at the hotel in September. We liked the hotel, it is excellent for a 3-star hotel. Of course, the rooms are not the most modern, there was no kettle and refrigerator in the room. I would like to note the excellent breakfasts and dinners, the food is very varied. Very friendly and welcoming staff, especially Oxana. A wonderful hotel in this class. I recommend it.

Staying at millor Sol now. Been here for 4 weeks. Lovley hotel. Everyone of the staff here are fantastic from reception staff to bar staff and restaurant. Young girl in restaurant with plait is lovley and smiley.
Reception staff so polite and helpful every time you walk past they make a point of saying hello have a good day all with big smiles. The food is great with a wide selection at both breakfast and dinner. The pool area is lovely. No one running down putting towels on to reserve there sunbeds. Whatever time of day you can always get one. Bar staff are also really nice we kept asking them for ice (as no fridge in rooms) and they always give it to us no problem.
The only negative thing (apart from no fridge in room) is the entertainment.
It’s not good at all. But my partner and I have had a lovely month here.

Finally got a chance to visit! My family used to stay here a lot during the 1980s, so I wanted to visit now too!
We arrived very late at night as our transfer was quite long, but there was staff to check us straight in, very informative and told us everything we needed to know about the hotel.
Our room was quite basic and dated but it was spotlessly clean and very functional. The bed was comfy but the pillows were too thin and the beds kept sliding apart as it was two singles pushed together. We had a great view of the pool and mountains from our balcony, and could also watch the entertainment from our balcony at night, which we loved too!
The breakfast was included in our stay and was good, some different foods which I didn’t eat but there was a good selection of food and the apple juice was delicious! The staff were all very attentive, taking dirty plates away quickly and cleaning tab, Ed the minute they were empty.
The snack bar was good too, quite reasonably priced and lots of choices and big portions too. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the Hotel restaurant during our stay.
The car hire is great, with two companies to choose from, the hotel receptionist just rang our chosen car company, and they came the next day, and we got a great offer of 3 for 2 days so that was very handy too, there is quite a lot of on-site parking at the hotel which was good.

It's an average hotel. I usually not give reviews. Rooms were fine, the room service was excellent. Breakfast decent, but horrible lunch. I would advise go to somewhere else to get a nice lunch. Dinner was an average, some food nice and others not good. Paella rice a bit hard, and not many options. I could feel staff are tired and not functioning well, one of the nights in the restaurant I wasn't offered any drinks, so had no drinks. I don't feel I want to back again.

Absolutely do not stay here — we traveled last month (July 2024)
Firstly upon check in we realised the AC was not working (again with a 7 month year old so had the gadgets to check the temperature of the room) the room was 27 degrees with the ac on — when informing to the reception they simply informed us that he was not an engineer and it is not his problem.
Breakfast selection is incredible, however the manager of the breakfast (old Spanish man did not catch his name) I believe Juan? One time my partner couldn’t join as he had to stay with the baby, I tried to take some croissants to the room, he tried to charge me €6 even though breakfast was complimentary in the stay ….
Another night we ended up in the town and came back to the hotel around 1140pm, asked for drinks and the waitress and the outdoor manager slammed the door telling us they are closed — again zero manors.
You’d think them just beating England in the euros would make them happy but in fact was the complete opposite.
If you can afford to pay more and stay else where please do, was a terrible experience.

The hotel is lovely and clean, rooms cleaned every single day. The breakfast had such a great range of different foods for everyone to try. Beach is a 6-7 minute walk away with some lovely shops to buy small gifts The only thing that let's this hotel down is the fact that we arrived late at night and was not even offered a bottle of water, 2 women on their own was told by reception that there was a place down the road. 1.30 am we was walking around looking for somewhere to get a drink in a place I had never been before. They should have these things available for people who check in late at night especially if they have babies or young children with them. Simple common sense tells you that these things count in a hotel. First hotel I've stayed in where these facilities was not included in the the room. Don't be fooled by the big TV on the wall because there ain't one 🤣

We’ve just returned to the UK from our first visit to Cala Millor, myself my husband and our 5 year old daughter. It certainly won’t be our last visit, we absolutely loved Cala Millor, perfect for families, very safe and spotlessly clean. The Hotel Millor Sol was fantastic — we would highly recommend it for families or couples.
From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome at reception, even though it was around 1am check — in was fast and easy and we couldn’t wait to see our room, we booked a superior room for a fridge and extra sofa bed. We were on the first floor. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, light and airy. Comfy bed & the sofa bed was pretty good, it was made up when we arrived and easy to pull out and fold away for extra space. All rooms have balconies that over look the pool with chairs and small table. The air conditioning was great and we the bathroom Was spacious & spotless with a walk in shower which was really good! The hairdryer is in the bathroom and I found it perfect as I have a short bob, you press a button to operate it, I imagine with thick long hair this could be hard work. The hotel was so lovely, classical modern, spacious and clean. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice and food was always tasty and hot. Omelette station was great with fresh pancakes made daily. Churros and warm chocolate sauce for breakfast was a treat! All hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast served 8-10am. Pool opens 10-6 which we found perfect.

Very nicely landscaped hotel in the outdoor area of Cala Millor, food rich, varied and good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The rooms and the entire complex are/is clean.
