Apartamentos Casa Vida

Having spent 10 days in these apartments I can recommend them fully. Having read some negative reviews before I arrived I was apprehensive. No need.
Apartments are basic. They are clean. Beds are the typical Spanish beds. Firm but comfortable enough.
Location of apartments is excellent — 2 minutes to the beach. Lots of excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk or less. Supermarket on doorstep.
Pool area is small but well maintained. Dominique ensures rules are enforced in pool area but she is not like a dictator as some have suggested.
Lack of a reception area or a pool bar are the only downsides of this location. But these are not enough to dissuade me.
Would I return again — definitely.

Nice looking small hotel with attractive pool area. There’s no reception at this hotel and a small sign on door tells you to check in across the road at Reverence Life hotel. We were given a ground floor room next to pool which meant we had zero privacy with guests sitting directly outside our balcony smoking. Rooms are clean but basic and in desperate need of a refresh. Mattresses are uncomfortable and thin. Kitchen well equipped. This is a noisy hotel with cleaners dragging furniture across the floor at 7.30 in the morning so if you want a lay in on your holiday maybe look elsewhere. Great location, 5 min walk to beach, shops, restaurants & bars etc.
Would I stay again. No. But if you’re just looking for somewhere to lay your head then it’s fine.

Good, clean apartments in an excellent location for bars and restaurants the life guard Dominique is very attentive when guests are in the pool.

This is a lovely little well maintained complex. The “reception” is a bit redundant but the complex and pool area are immaculate.
My main reason for the review is to praise the lifeguard at the pool. Dominique is strict on what is and isn’t allowed, no inflatables, bombing etc and is vigilant in enforcing the rules. In our opinion this makes it a far more enjoyable experience for everyone as it’s a small pool. She does this it has to be said in the face of some completely unacceptable behaviour from in our experience 4 boys, both last year and this year, same kids who are allowed to run amok by their parents who try to undermine the lifeguard at every turn. She does it politely despite one of the dads being aggresive and vowing to have her sacked, he really doesn’t didnt notice everyone left the pool when they came down. In 2 weeks we witnessed Dominique jump in on 2 separate occasions to pull a struggling child out because they were unsupervised. Yes she’s strict but for the vast majority of people there she makes it a far more pleasant experience, we’re Team Dominique and will return again.

We stayed for 3 days and the apartements are clean, well sized for my family of four and renewed. The pool is great and the life guard was super helpful and friendly. The location is perfect close to the beach and at one of Mallorca's best area. We really enjoyed the apartment!

We have stayed at one of the Casa Vida apartments many times and have always enjoyed our visits at any time of year. The location is perfect for easy access to the lovely beach and for a wide choice of restaurants and bars.
This attractive complex has an excellent pool and yesterday, when a small child got into difficulties in the water, Dominique, the lifeguard, immediately dived in, raced across the pool and helped him to safety. Her vigilance and swift action was impressive and is to be commended. It is comforting to know that the pool is properly supervised.
We will continue to take holidays at Casa Vida and enjoy the glorious Majorcan sunshine.

Quiet, nice and well-maintained facility with close to everything. We stayed for 9 nights (end of May), cleaning every 4 days. Clean and fresh in the apartment, kitchen and kitchen equipment need to be updated and supplemented. Problems in the bathroom drain that smell, scented candles helped. Many apartments with the best location are privately owned. We stayed on the third floor (apartment 34) a corner apartment close to the neighbor's apartment, very good views of the pool and beach. A great stay.

Clean & comfortable apartment, small kitchen with all amenities required. Pleasant STAFF with weekly change of towels & bed linen. Outdoor pool area lovely, with Dominique a lifeguard who did a splendid job of pool safety. She was always fully aware of youngsters in pool and general pool safety for all.

It's not fancy but it's ok.
Simple one bedroom apartment which was clean and comfortable and had just about everything needed for a 1 week stay in March.
2 ring hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine in kitchenette. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils but no mugs for English tea ;-)
Two single beds pulled together as double with extra linen in cupboards in case you got cold.
Really clean and serviced once during our stay.
Checked in by Albert who arrived quickly after ringing the number on the door (make sure you have a mobile that can make European calls).
Parking easy at front or down steep slope at back.
Lots of restaurants closed in early March so a bit of hunting around for dining options. Good local supermarkets (Eroski) for supplies and a really good base to go off and explore a really beautiful island.
Would recommend if you want a basic, self catering good clean base.

Stayed for 5 nights new year break.
On arrival we were meet by Alberto who checked us in and told us about the facilities in the apartment.
On entering apartment was clean tidy and plenty of room.
Large shower and a comfy bed.
Basic cooking facilities but restaurants were open not as many as the summer but enough for the time we were there.
A free car park at the back of the building but a steep driveway to navigate on foot but you can also park outside if there’s a space.
Would definitely go back.

Firstly when we arrived past midnight doors were locked there is a note on the door to say go to hotel across the road to get keys, we explained to the night staff that the note needs to be bigger and not to read it with my torch on my phone.
We had to go across the the road to request our towel changes get safe key and report anything really (second last day we realised the phone in the room actually works) It is a noisy hotel, as there is no double glazing doors/ windows. Bathroom was amazing tho. TV, Fridge and air con all worked perfectly.
We were able to get sunbeds without any issue, pool also ok, if you want basic then this fantastic.
