Villa Punxa

This villa needs an upgrade unfortunately. It's the first place in Pollensa in 10 years that we've been disappointed with. It smelled damp and the furniture and equipment was poor quality. The beds were very cheap, the sofas had old throws over them and the only inside bathroom is dingy and very small. We ended up using the outside bathroom and shower instead. The outside dining table was too unstable to use for dinner though we did tighten the screws. There were a number of signs around the property advising what we weren't to do, including an ancient hi-fi system that was out of order. Why not remove it?
The road is very narrow so be aware, it is difficult to access for anything but a small vehicle.
On the plus, the location was great, Wi-Fi was decent, the pool is very nice and the aircon is good. There are plenty of other villas in this area that are much nicer for the same value.

Family with 3x kids 8 and under. Oct 2025 when managed by Portvil. We make this review factoring in it was the cheapest 3 bed finca with a pool in the whole of NE or NW mallorca (€1100EUR for 6 nights).
In summary a great value and spacious property, with above average size pool (8x4m) and patio. The outside is amazing and the inside is adequate for the price. Don't book if you want a luxury feel or a modern kitchen or Netflix on the TV. It's a traditional Mallorquin style finca — a stone built building with 'rustic' feel; basic furniture, hand painted tiles, small and recessed windows. The roof terrace is blocked off.
We got very unlucky with three nights during storm Alice meaning torrential rain, thunderstorms and the power tripping three times (simply reset by flicking breaker back).
Last review is entirely unfair, as listing photos are accurate and kitchen is adequately equipped. We read it just before our trip and it needlessly worried us. Peeling plaster is one tiny area on living room ceiling, and some on outdoor bathroom ceiling. It's normal for pool pumps to make noise and don't see how this can affect someone (at night the sound of bush insects is much louder than the pump! )
Pool area was great for kids (and still just about warm enough in October). Easy to keep an eye on them, no slippy tiles or pool surround and outdoor bathroom with hot shower (the outdoor bathroom is much larger and nicer than the indoor one upstairs).
