The Son Grua Agroturismo is not only very well located in the North-East of Mallorca, but it‘s foremost an exceptionnally beautiful place to relax and reconnect with oneself. The accomodation has a lot of charm and history, which definitely makes it stand out from other hotels. The rooms, pool area and three dining places are however modern and very charming.
In addition to the above, the kindness, proactivity and availability of all staff members should be emphasized. They managed to even accomodate food intolerances or last minute wishes. The food (a la carte breakfast, lunch or dinner) is also well prepared and of great quality. The products were local, fresh and very tasty. ❤️
We definitely will come back and recommend the place to our loved ones.

An incredibly beautiful and peaceful stay surrounded by nature and the Tramuntana mountains. The finca and historic gardens are stunning, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing from the moment you arrive. The owner and staff were exceptionally warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Perfect location for some hiking and disconnecting for a few days. We would definitely love to come back.

Wonderful escape for a few days! Som Grua is a little pice of heaven nestled in the hills near Pollença. The owners are delightful and so knowledgeable about their home and the area. Staff members are so polite and very attentive.
The pool area is sublime and the pool side snack and drinks service hugely appreciated.
The breakfast was fresh, very generous and delicious.
We dined outside as the weather was fantastic and the birdsong is wonderful. So many different birds and unsurprisingly so — the grounds, trees and seclusion is a haven for birds and people alike!
We were really pleased with our room choice — a room with a terrace overlooking the pool.
Feel rejuvenated after a few days there. 🌞❤️

What an absolutely wonderful experience here! We traveled here in August 2025 and loved the property. Our trip was short so we tried to pack in as much as we could outside of the villa so we didn't get to experience everything BUT the service of Nicolás and his team was top notch. We did have dinner on property one night and it was delicious. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here for almost a week in March, the place is very well kept, clean and mostly quiet. We liked the breakfast (especially the croissants) and the kind and personal attentiveness of Nicholas, always very friendly, but never overbearing, which is something we greatly appreciated. We felt like home. We also didn’t have a car and often walked to the nearby town and took the bus (services are infrequent though and in the evenings we took a taxi), but it suited us well, we felt less stressed by not having to drive and take it easy.
Two caveats to mention: we decided to already arrive 1 day earlier; which meant we had to change rooms but that was no problem for us since we knew about it in advance. Unfortunately, upon checking out of our first room, a few hours later we were approached as apparently a small crack in the shower glass door had occurred and we were asked if we had done this. We genuinely had not and I didn’t even close the door of that shower as it was very spacious and I didn’t even realize there was an extra glass panel (the door). This left us with a bitter and uncomfortable feeling, despite not having broken the door we felt like they must be thinking it was us. This was a miss on their end on not noticing it earlier (it was a very small crack and we asked if we could take a look).

Absolute heaven. I came to Son Grua for a long week after a five year long project, needing to restore and enjoy nature — and I could not have picked a better place. Nicolás and his team were perfectly attentive and charming.
I hesitated to review this as I don't want to get the secret out, but the place is so special that I had to pay it at least this very little nod.

What an utterly perfect and special place. Nicolás, the owner, and his wife have created something so wonderful it took our breathe away! We stayed for two nights after hiking the GR221 and celebrated my 40th birthday here with my parents. It was absolutely faultless and I cannot wait to return. Happy memories from a truly magical place.

At Son Grua we found a unique and special corner of Mallorca. I contemplated not leaving a review, as I am loathed to share this fantastic find with others! Simply put, this hotel, the grounds and the staff are breathtaking in equal measure.
Nicolás, the owner is sincere, kind and warm. He is deeply proud of the family history at these wonderful premises. The art and the history is just captivating.
We stayed for 4 nights, we dined here for 3 nights. The food was great and the ambience on the outside eating area sat under nightfall, around trees and wildlife — it was truly magical.
I would also like to mention Pedro, he was the waiter during the day pool service and again during the evening dinner time. He had the most calm and happy persona, he made the evening meals with his sheer happiness and enthusiasm for his role. He was probably the best waiter and service we have ever experienced. Honestly, we were so fortunate to have stayed here!
Our only regret, we wish it had been for longer, we can’t wait to return.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I just have to say thank you to Nicolás, the host of this beautiful finca. This place is truly special — surrounded by stunning views, tastefully decorated, and full of charm. The terraces are absolutely magical — perfect for breakfast or dinner with breathtaking scenery. You genuinely don’t feel like leaving the property.
Nicolás clearly loves this place deeply. He’s incredibly attentive to his guests, always nearby, making sure everything runs smoothly. He shares the fascinating history of the finca and brings a personal touch to every detail. The entire staff is warm, kind, and welcoming, which makes the experience even more memorable.
It’s a peaceful, thoughtfully curated retreat where nature, comfort, and beauty come together. I’ll remember it for a long time.

We have had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. Nicolas and his team are so attentive and helpful. They even offered to make us a picnic for our journey to the airport.
The pool is beautiful. The whole atmosphere is so calm and set in a beautiful setting. A short drive to restaurants and amenities.
We hope to come back soon.

I cannot praise Son Grua enough! The historic grounds provide respite and peace in a setting of nature. From the welcome drinks provided upon arrival to our sad departure (2 nights did not feel like enough), everything was fabulous about our stay. Meals are delicious, hiking trails are plentiful and jumping into the salt water pool at the end of a long day refreshed us. Nicolas and Marta are very attentive and lovely hosts and made us feel at home. Thank you to Nicolas and Marta; my mother and I wish you the best and hope to come back soon.

We couldn’t possibly recommend Son Grua more highly! Nicolas, Marta, Pedro and the rest of the team made us feel so welcome and at home. The history of the property is fascinating and the grounds are astoundingly beautiful. We loved eating in the different courtyards and terraces listening to the wildlife, and having coffees by the pool overlooking the property and mountains. Nicolas and Marta were always available to provide recommendations on hikes and things to do, which we really valued. The food at Son Grua is excellent, with freshly made breakfast each morning — we also enjoyed two dinners and two lunches in the hotel which were outstanding. Pedro recommended the Mallorcan Gató for dessert which we loved so much he kindly wrote the recipe down. ¡Gracias de corazón a todos por una estancia inolvidable!

Wonderful beautiful peaceful hotel! Service, grounds, food all top notch! If you are looking to step back in time and enjoy a one of a kind experience where you can relax and enjoy nature this is the place!

This was our last stop after one in Palma and another in Menorca, and if your goal is to relax, this is the idyllic place! The owner, Nicolas, was wonderful to chat with, making us feel right at home. The property itself is stunning and beautifully decorated. At night, the clear skies are full of stars, accompanied by the soothing sound of crickets, and in the morning, the birds sing to greet the day. It’s just amazing. The only thing I would change is the bumpy entryway, but it hardly detracts from the overall experience.

Such a beautiful property! The owners are extremely attentive and helpful with everything from property info to local recommendations, and the food was delicious. Located close to surrounding towns and great bikes/hikes (there’s even a few on the property! ), it’s the perfect place for a quiet retreat in Mallorca.

Beautiful, tranquil and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Son Grua is a truly special spot. We really appreciated the feeling of authenticity throughout — it’s easy to feel transported to another time thanks to the thoughtful interior design and perfectly preserved features. Love the fact it’s so close to Pollenca old town, too (an hour’s walk or 10-min drive). The food is exceptional and the welcome warm. Highly recommend!
