I booked a 7-night yoga retreat at Son Manera through IndigoUrlaub in Februrary 2024, and stayed in a single room with terrace.
Location: The area is beautiful and peaceful, with views across the countryside and the pretty town of Montuiri, amidst almond orchards and orange groves. The finca has everything you need for a comfortable retreat, including large bedrooms in an authentic style, indoor yoga rooms and outdoor yoga platforms, many comfortable outdoor and indoor areas for relaxing or chatting, fantastic massage and treatment options, gardens, bikes, access to walking trails, pretty indoor and outdoor pools, and a sauna. Montuiri is pleasant to walk around, although at this time of year it was quite empty. There is a helpful pharmacy and a small market, plus some impressive stone ruins and windmills.
Food: There were plenty of buffet options at breakfast and dinner, entirely vegan and vegetarian, in a Mediterranean or specifically Majorcan flavor. The desserts were always incredible! Lunch was simple but filling. The cooks really cared that we enjoyed their meals and took some special requests during the week. It was nice to have tea and fruit available throughout the day; I also brought some of my own granola bars and small snacks for the room.
Yoga: This was the main reason I chose this retreat — twice daily yoga, before breakfast and dinner. The instructors were nice and knowledgeable; each practiced a different style.

Well what can I say it was heaven to be at this retreat from the minute you walk in you feel calm and welcome.
All the staff members were friendly and helpful.
The grounds are well looked after by the gardener's who gave us a friendly smile each morning and the pool is a lovely place to sit and relax, they have plenty of sun loungers and shade.
The bedroom was spacious and cool and had everything we needed for our stay.
The food was delicious — freshly prepared. We especially enjoyed the almond cake.
Our yoga teacher Kerstin was the most warm and welcoming person she really made the experience amazing for us she was fun and caring and really made sure we relaxed and would help us get into the right position. The different yoga areas were really nice with stunning views. We really appreciate the effort that Kirsten made to translate German into English for us. So we could follow and understand the moves.
We really want to continue to practice yoga back in England thanks to Kerstin.
I absolutely loved my Thai yoga massage as well. I would definitely recommend having one. I felt so relaxed and peaceful afterwards.
We would definitely recommend this retreat to our family and friends and we hope to return soon.
