Asis de Marratxinet

Amazing building and staff are superb. Very accommodating and polite, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The building and facilities are breathtaking.
Breakfast was included and amazing and all in all a relaxing and homely experience, they bring out whatever they had prepared for that morning. Usually includes, toast, homemade marmalade, greek natural yogurt, cake/sweet and a protein like scrambled eggs or salami, very nice! They also cater to vegan/vegetarian.
We reserved dinner and it was very nice, although it was pricey. They served 3 plates in the set menu that is different each night. We had gazpacho, cod with red peppers and.
Scalloped potatoes and then store bought chocolate cake with whipped cream and strawberry. The price was 30€ per menu, drinks not included.
Only warning is that taxis and ubers may not come to pick up up if you use the apps.

Lovely hotel. Run by a family. Clean rooms. Breakfast and dinner are super. We enjoyed our stay. Gracias to the entire team.

The owners and staff couldn’t do any more for you, any question query was immediately dealt with. The room was very clean, fantastic air con. Powerful shower. Breakfast was lovely but after 2 weeks became a bit monotonous. We chose the hotel because of the location very close to Palma airport, 5 mins to the motorway. You do need a car as it is out of the way but all is explained before you book. If you want a quiet break then this is the place for you. However if it is s lively noisy holiday book somewhere else.

Lovely place to stay but…
First the positives:
— Friendly & helpful staff — especially breakfast lady.
— bigger pets are free to stay! (Very uncommon on Mallorca)
— Free parking next to building.
— Interesting building complex with views over Palma.
— old interior adding to the old monastery character.
— Peace & quiet area and natural environment.
— Lovely outside breakfast area with morning sun while shaded by trees.
— Cleaning lady friendly and every day made the bed & tidy the room, thanks!
— Cheap drinks at self-service bar.
— We had a extra late checkout as we had to work.
-Small pool (s) for cooling down while suntanning.
Now the points for the but…
— It’s a bit heary, our bedroom was near the main entrance and we could hear lots, also from nextdoor-room.
— The lack of good speed internet, it is not great and challenging! (4G-network is strong, @hotel hang a few simcard-modems? )
— Rural, it’s remote, you wouldn’t go there without a car.
— Not all staff proficient in English.
— Daily-set breakfast varying per day, some days better than others, likely based on what they have that day. (However always fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee, bread, own-made jam & marmelade)
All in all, still 5stars — because they do really make you feel at home while away from home.
I managed to overcome the but’s, therefor I don’t count them as negatives.

The hotel is a charming rural renovated convent not too far from Palma although I think it is overpriced for what it is and were it is! We booked the superior double room but there was nothing superior about it. The decor is very plain and a bit depressing, no Wi-Fi in rooms which I was told there was and one morning no hot water which was fixed once I told them over breakfast as no way of contacting reception from the room.
We booked dinner there one night and we were also disappointed as quite pricey for what it is.
Also there is no sign for the parking so a bit hard to find when you arrive specially of it dark.
The owner seemed a bit distant and not too helpful.
The highlight of this place is the breakfast and that it is very quiet.

Asis de Marratrixnet is perfect if you’re looking for a secluded getaway, showing the natural beauty Mallorca and Marraxtí have to offer. When booking, I just wanted something that wasn’t exactly in Palma, this was way more than I expected.
Incredibly comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, optional rainfall shower head, air conditioning and I’d find it hard to believe there is a bad view from any room here. Considering the location is an old convent, it’s absolutely lovely for nature-filled self-reflection. Even so, this is a fantastic location for couples as well.
Breakfast and dinner are offered at an extra cost, and a dinner reservation needs to be made the morning of. Easily done, as there’s a dinner sign-up sheet in the breakfast area! Breakfast was included in my rate and dinner with a glass of wine was about 30€, and considering Palma is fairly expensive, this was a great deal, and not just because it’s a bit more difficult to get into town. Dinner is made in house and shows you how great malloraquín cuisine can be.
Everyone here was absolutely incredibly kind and accommodating. I hate that I forgot everyone’s names because they were all so helpful and warm.
I’d stay here every time I come to Mallorca.

We stayed for 3nights and everything was perfect. The breakfast are all homemade and delicious. Beautiful place, quiet and can really relax. All the staff are very helpful, really feel like we are part of the family. Thanks everyone and hopefully we can back next time.

Absolutely delightful, so very peaceful, the food the chef prepared was absolutely fantastic. We had the most amazing lunch, and also had an evening meal which was equally delicious, all homemade. We will define be back one day. And highly recommend.

We always remember the Asis with Dominique and Toni. Last year we had a fantastic holiday week at the same time of the almond blossom. We will definitely be back.
