We love son mesquida but the management seems to have changed since our last stay, this is reflected in a few reviews it seems. She has changed the amount of the tourist tax twice and then berates me for wanting to pay the right amount, she did not take the information the government legally requires her to. She did not care that we couldn’t use the oven to cook the groceries purchased. Retaliatory attitude when challenged.
Pros.
Very nice traditional farm with a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The yard is full of cute sheep wandering around. The star of the farm is a very cute orange cat, which is really friendly and follows you around everywhere, so make sure you bring some treats for her. There is a big parking lot so no issues with parking. The farm is isolated and the closest town, Manacor, is around 10 mins away. The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and is equipped with a full kitchen. At night, the yard has a movie atmosphere, with all the lights turned on and there are owls sitting on top of the main building, which can look a bit scary but we loved it. There's also self check in and check out. This accommodation might not be for everyone, since it's very different from a regular accommodation, but we loved it and would definitely return.
Cons.
The whole farm looks a bit neglected and could use a renovation and a clean up because there's sheep poop everywhere. The sheep are a bit dirty and some of them also look neglected and in need for more love and care. Cell reception is almost non existent other than a few spots where you can get one line of signal. Wifi hasn't worked for the first days but got fixed a day before check out. There's AC in the apartment, but it doesn't work properly, not being able to cool the room as it should.

Stunning property. Genuinely one of the most beautiful places I've stayed. Rent a car, you'll need it.
Now, the less poetic part:
Sheep. Loud, prolific, and not shy about where they relieve themselves, including right outside your window at 6am.
But the real issue: the host sent us check-in instructions with the wrong apartment name, then quietly edited the message without telling us. Result: a family of five knocked on our door because we were in their apartment. We had no idea anything had changed. The host's reaction to this mess? Bad attitude and zero accountability. We sorted it out with the family ourselves, no thanks to her.
Four stars because the place is that good, and because I'd rather be honest than petty. But I won't be back, and the host's conduct is something future guests should factor in.
