Hotel O7 Colombo O7 Colombo

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, the beach is right in the front of the hotel. The room was simple but got everything we needed. We chose the all inclusive option and was the best decision ever. The food was delicious every day. The staff was very kind and helpful especially Eimen at the bar who was super nice and attentive. We definitely want to stay there again.

The hotel is old and not very attractive. Rooms with windows facing the ventilation shaft should not be offered to guests at all. On the night of our arrival, we were given a ground-floor room with no view or fresh air. It was dark and had an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. We felt like we were in a basement or prison. After talking to the staff, we were given another room with a sea view. Everything was old but clean.
The pool was very small for the number of guests.
It's disgusting that guests smoke everywhere; no one considers non-smokers; there should be a designated area for this! The hotel staff were very friendly, except Eva from the front desk, who acted as she was there as a punishment.
And now the restaurant, a very pleasant surprise: very good food, in a restaurant overlooking the beautiful beach, which was literally two steps away. The location was great.

Just came back from a 4 night stay! We arrived late Friday everything was closed so was a little concerned as we last ate at 3pm. They had put sandwiches on for us which tasted delicious 😋. The rooms was a bit out dated but nothing to moan about as you only sleep in there, they was cleaned every day and fresh towels. The food was good always found something to eat and the cheese nachos at dinner time was a big hit. The drinks was fantastic too and the sex on the beach was a favourite for us. The pool area small and people do reserve the sunbeds but don't use them which was a very strange one. The beach outside the hotel was amazing spotless and it cost 15 euros to rent the beds all day. Only 2 negative thing's for me was there no fridge in the room which would be good to put your water or pop in to have a drink throughout the night as you was drinking warm water. Also the ice cream parlour was never noone in there and you'd wait but no one would come. Please don't listen to the negative reviews as we had a fantastic holiday and looking forward to returning next year. Also big shout out to Laura, the waiter and bar attendant she was outstanding throughout my stay and was very clear in speaking English.

The Hotel sits on top of the beach, on an amazing bay.
The Hotel is old and needs an update but I general is well kept and clean.
On the occasions we needed help, it was given without any problem.
Price.
The Hotel doesn't have it own parking, Wi-Fi requires a fee and the food is canteen level at best. No animation at the hotel but while we were there, there were plenty of parties on the bay which were excelent, but the sound from the street is very noticeable when you are trying to sleep at 1am.
