We stayed in this accommodation via Airbnb in July. We pulled up into the car park to be greeted by our host.
Our host registered us and showed us around the property and then when we went to get our luggage we found a bag had been stolen.
We discovered the bag had been stolen by someone either working or visiting the property.
We were obviously very distressed by this as the bag contained passports laptops several headphones and brand new souvenirs from our trip as well as credit cards.
My one star rating is related to how we were treated by the host.
She was totally unhelpful in every way. She speaks fluent Spanish and yet did not assist us at all with making police reports.
She did not assist us in trying to establish who on her property stole my bag.
She seemed to be very much more interested in going on horse trips and catching up with friends visiting her.
As our host we assumed that she would have been horrified that this had occurred on her property and yet she was dismissive and blamed us for perhaps leaving our bag at a supermarket or the airport when we arrived. We knew emphatically that the luggage had been with us when we arrived and still she did not claim any responsibility or assist us.
As it turned out it HAD been stolen at her property. Possibly by a staff member or friend visiting the property from a nearby house.
The host suggested perhaps we had been followed!
The most beautiful tranquil setting. We were treated like one of the family. Just loved being surrounded by the farm animals, dogs and of course the horses!

I have already stayed twice at Finca Sa Cova Vella, each time spending a wonderful holiday in one of the agriturismo’s apartments together with my mum. It is truly a very special place. Not only because the accommodation itself is beautiful, set away from the island’s mass tourism, surrounded by stunning landscapes and many animals, but above all because of Annie and Joan. They make every stay something truly special with their genuine warmth and kindness, something you rarely experience elsewhere. Every day brings new little adventures here – the horse rides are absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to experience an unforgettable carriage ride at sunrise. Their hospitality makes you feel completely at home and turns a stay at Sa Cova Vella into a truly unique and memorable experience. We will definitely come back.
