Finca Son Arnau

We’ve just returned from a 3 day break at Finca Son Arnau. What an experience! Both agreed that this was the nicest place we’ve ever stayed on our travels. From the fabulous and authentic accommodation, the stunning location and views and the outstanding breakfast (best omelette I’ve ever had), we enjoyed everything about it. Although we had a hire car, we made the short walk into Selva each night for dinner. A gorgeous traditional Spanish town square with its church. Finca Son Arnau was so peaceful (just the sound of the birds and a couple of goats). Very relaxing few days and Alex and Susan were very hospitable and have built a fantastic place. We would love to return and would definitely recommend a visit.

We are spending 5 days here and loving it. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the atmosphere very nice in an amazing building. We are enjoying the breakfast options and Alex is very nice, we can leave our bikes, have a quick clothe wash and more. The village is beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Hotel is amazing on the edge of a gorgeous village. Breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel cooked fresh to order Suzanne and Alex and their team are so welcoming will definitely return five star experience.

Had a lovely stay here and they definitely deserve all of the great reviews. Susan was so friendly and helpful and gave me one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in on the island so far. Actually correction, it was the nicest. Lovely decor, spotlessly clean and very peaceful. You can tell the whole place is a labour of love for the owners. Pool great, breakfast great (Stacey also lovely), view great. Would definitely stay again.

Girls trip with a dear friend. Son Arnau was perfect. From the hospitality we received from the moment we entered, to the gorgeous room, fabulous breakfast, beautiful pool and peaceful surroundings. I am telling everyone that if they go to Mallorca, they HAVE to stay at Son Arnau. (now I need to take my husband there).

I honestly couldn't say enough about how fantastic our stay at Finca Son Arnau was, we travel a fair amount and it's one of our favourite stays we've had in years.
The Finca itself is stunning, tucked away in a quiet part of a quiet village/town, the peace is a haven on an otherwise sometimes hectic island during tourist season. Despite that, it's surrounded by superb restaurants and only a short distance by car from some of the best bits of the island. Our room (a suite) was above expectations, cool (in both senses of the word), comfortable and designed/fitted with a very stylish eye for detail. The swimming pool is another highlight — clean and refreshing, with comfortable loungers for every guest, and the view from it has to be seen to be believed! The honesty bar was a lovely touch, so you can grab a drink to have by your lounger whenever you needed it.
It's been said in previous reviews, but the real highlight is the hosts. Run by a husband and wife team who are warm, friendly and honestly can't do enough for you. It feels like you're being really looked after without ever being on top of you or cloying — thanks Alex & Susan! The fresh a la carte breakfast they cook every day is also completely delicious. We'd love to come back one day and will be profusely recommending it to anyone we know going to Mallorca.

A wonderful stay for our week in Majorca. Alex and Susan have a beautiful setup providing a peaceful and charming ‘finca’ with a great pool, location and accommodation. The breakfast choice was one of the healthiest and best we have ever had and really set you up for the day. I would 100% recommend this to any couples who are looking for a great base to explore or just want a relaxing getaway to get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

We had the best stay! If you want to kick back & relax this is the place for you. Room was beautiful, spotlessly clean & very comfy bed.
Breakfast menu was extensive for a small hotel & was delicious.
Pool area was beautiful & so relaxing.
Honestly bar was a great idea & contained many nice wines (a few snacks would have been the icing on the cake! )
Susan & Alex gave me a bottle of cava for my birthday which was so thoughtful!
Our air conditioning could have been a bit colder but would not hesitate to return!
Selva was very quiet, we found only 1 or 2 restaurants opened each evening (maybe a bit busier as summer goes on)
Miceli restaurant is a must, but book in advance.

We had a fantastic stay at Finca Son Arnau! Alex and Susan are incredibly warm and welcoming – it felt like visiting friends. They’re always up for a great chat and gave us wonderful tips on what to see and do around the island. The rooms are spotless, with great air conditioning, and the whole property is beautiful – amazing views, a lovely pool, and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious every morning – especially the freshly squeezed orange juice, which is truly legendary. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

As a very type A person, I am as critical as they come and like to share a good thing when I find it. Alex and Susan have created nirvana with their Inn. The location, attentive service, breakfast, setting, room amenities — could not be better!
Perfect location to access the mountains and vineyards…with thoughtful amenities for cyclists and hikers alike, this is a highly curated experience. A short walk to lovely village center but quiet enough to focus on natural, serene surroundings. The pool area was divine and the daily breakfast choices were copious and delicious. We will be back! We also indulged with massages they arranged for us during a very active week. Iwona was absolutely terrific!

The hosts welcomed us warmly and explained everything we needed upon arrival. After exploring the eastern and northern tip of Mallorca, we were looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle before returning home and this place was exactly what we wanted. We could sleep with the window open at night. Since we didn't manage to see the whole island, it is very likely that we will choose Finca Son Arnau when we visit the island again.

Finca Son Arnau is an absolute gem. A beautifully renovated estate with an upscale, modern aesthetic. The property is not only beautifully appointed with many amenities, but the proprietors, Susan and Alex, go out of their way to make you feel at home. We discovered Finca Son Arnau three years ago and have returned every year. The exceptional number of 5 star reviews this establishment has received speaks volumes about its quality in every respect. Thank you Susan and Alex for another memorable stay. We look forward to seeing you next year!

This our second visit to FInca Son Arnau. We love the area and we love walking between Selva, Binibona, Caimari and Moscari. This is by far the best hotel in the area. Alex and Susan are so welcoming, friendly, accommodating nothing is too much trouble. Our room was absolutely stunning (junior suite). The views were spectacular, the bed so comfortable. It had a jacuzzi bath and a fab shower. The breakfast is the best I have had in a hotel. It’s not a buffet. The menu choice is so good. Everything is made fresh by Alex and Susan. Even in February there are enough places to eat but I would pre book to make sure that you get the one you want. We loved it that much we have booked for August and next February and I’m sure we will add some extras in between. Thank you again Alex and Susan.

A wonderful stay! Alex and Susan are the most charming hosts — nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared; the bed extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring and close to great restaurants. We loved it!

We come to Mallorca every month, and have stayed in a wide range of agriturismo hotels, many of which we stay silent about, rather than leave a bad review!
Son Arnau was at the very top of the range. We loved our stay there. The room was well-appointed, comfy and roomy, and we had our own dedicated parking space, which makes such a difference, and is unusual in agri hotels nestled, as Son Arnau is, in the heart of a charming Mallorcan village.
Susan and Alex were delightful hosts, always attentive to our needs, and happy to give suggestions and advice. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the a la carte breakfast was super, with lots of appealing choices.
The pool, with stupendous views from its terrace, is just gorgeous.
An honesty bar was another treat, with a comfy sitting room to enjoy a tipple, surrounded by modern art, at the end of a busy day.
All in all, cannot recommend Finca Son Arnau too highly. Excellent!

The Finca Son Arnau is situated in the beautiful village of Selva, in the Tramuntana mountains, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The hotel has beautiful grounds and is a haven of peace.
There is an infinity pool and a garden with a view over the valley to the mountains.
The rooms are large and comfortable. Very good mattresses and pillows, and lots of storage.
The breakfast, made to order, is extensive and varied.
Susan and Alex go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and have created a perfect and homely oasis. We will be back!

The most what we would like to say has already been said by the other travellers. That is why it has took a bit time before we write this review.
We liked the place. The buliding is old outside but modern inside. Very nice combination with teaste. It is deffenetly not a chain hotel but very personal, as Susan and Alex are not only managing / co-ordinating everything but also operating it. It was very easy to see that they both were very commited to the place and their guests / customers.
The breakfast is a-la-carte with service to the table (no buffet). There were several menus to choose from. What ever menu one chose, it was all fresh prepared in the kitchen. All of them were healthy and good start for the day.
We deffently recomend this place.
