Finca Son Cladera

The room was clean and elegant, with a spacious modern bathroom. The finca is set back from the road. But it isn’t the tranquil retreat they advertise; it’s clearly family-oriented. Both pools were often full of children, and when kids were shouting and jumping the area wasn’t usable for anyone seeking quiet.
The private trail was frustrating: the map didn’t match the signs, we got lost twice, and the path ended at a barrier. One afternoon was ruined by hours of very loud car-racing noise nearby — what staff later told us was illegal racing — and the explanation only came much later.
The AC failed the first night; it was fixed while we were out, but no one told us. Laundry was worse: the paid washing machine failed the day before departure. We were told it would be fine, left our clothes, and got no follow-up. After we complained, staff washed and dried them as a favor, but returned them still damp, so we had to finish drying everything the next morning before we could pack.
Please advertise this honestly as family-first, not a quiet hideaway.

Just got home from our second stay at Finca Son Cladera. Both times it has been perfect. The finca is stunning, the location is quiet but close to the beach (we usually head towards Pollenca which is about 15/20 mins) and the level of service is just the right amount of attentive but discreet to let you just get on and enjoy your stay. There are two pools which you usually end up with either one of them to yourself! We will definitely be back, we go on lots of holidays as a family and this is by far our favourite.

To keep it short: the accommodation is like winning the lottery. We booked a junior suite 20 minutes before arrival and everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay. The communication, the suite, the details in the suite. Sometimes it's the little things too: beautiful ribbon taps, extremely sharp knives, an extremely comfortable mattress, etc. The outdoor area with its two pools and the beautiful forest are fantastic. We would definitely come back again and again.

Just the most rural, idyllic, peaceful stay, off the beaten track yet 20 minutes from main spots like Pollenca and beautiful beaches.
The interiors are beautiful with modern touches yet keeping with the aesthetic and tradition of the Mallorca heritage, wonderful!

It was everything amazing! We loved to stay there! You definitely need a car when you stay here but it was not a problem for us because we wanted to explore the island by car.

This is THE place to sit back & relax! The finca has some very nice Appartements and a big Pool! The Finca is near a wood, which invites to also go for a hike before you get back to the pool to relaxe. There is also a possibility to order breakfast to your appartement which is also a nice Option to have.
Pau ist very helpful and makes the stay really easy.
The location is nice and everything you would need is nearby. It's also very bikefriendly which is a must in Mallorca;)
We will for sure come back!

We just got back from a four night stay and we absolutely loved it! The grounds were beautiful with the most amazing scenery to wake up to. Having a morning coffee and breakfast on the sunny patio was the highlight of the day! The apartment was spotless and the interior was lovely! The pool was so nice to spend time by, and also had a beautiful view. The location was great as it’s far enough removed from the small village that it feels peaceful and quite but also still only a few minutes drive to the grocery store and just an hour or less drive to some beautiful villages and beaches! The service was great and were very accommodating! I would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone traveling with family too!

We stayed at Finca Son Cladera with our two children, aged 13 and 10. The Roca apartment was beautiful, just as in the photos. We loved the history behind the special details.
The check in arrangements were very efficient. We were sent an email with speedy check-in information and were met by Pau with the keys. He was always helpful and on hand if needed, but never overbearing. All the details are covered: easy to use appliances, lots of plug sockets in every room, the possibility to log into Netflix etc and a guide book with local information and services. We ordered breakfast to be delivered and ate at some of the recommended restaurants during our week's stay and weren't disappointed.
The Finca is in a great location so it's easy to visit different places around the island. We also had a couple of mornings just chilling by the pool — the view is beautiful and there's enough space for everyone in the shade or the sun, depending on what you're looking for. The fridge by the pool was great — well stocked with refreshing cold drinks. You just write down what you take, to pay at the end of the stay. Although the finca is well equipped for children, we found the atmosphere tranquil and relaxed. Perfect. My husband ran on the walking trails behind the property using the map with historical points of interest — great views too.

This magical place is a must see, must experience and must stay.
What a beautiful setting and a fantastic apartment that had everything.
We stayed in the Roca Deluxe suite, and it was such an interesting decor and mind blowing solutions.
Great bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, living room and outdoor terrace.
The pool is set in a lovely garden with views over Mallorca mainland/mountains.
Very quiet and filled with tranquility.
A great playground in the back and the house is set on a huge property, privately owned, where you can trek/walk for hours in the hills.
We love Majorca, and the area has many beautiful sights.
But best of all, was the greetings of Pau, when we came the first day. He showed us around this fantastic place with great hospitality. You immediately felt at home.
I think they opened the place up in November 2022, so very new and modern, but with a respect to the old buildings and Mother Nature.
You can our very nice breakfast from the local grocery with delicious fresh products.
I wish Pau and family all the best, and we’ll for sure be back in any of the 7 apartments.

Beautiful hotel! Located at a beautiful spot near the mountains, feels secluded. But very close to platja de muro (which is a great beach, also with young children). And also close to Alcudia and other cities. Everything was well taken care off. Perfect staff, very helpful, friendly and always available. Beautiful rooms, very clean, everything you need (excellent bath, bed and kitchen, also perfect with young kids). Gorgeous pool. Its so nice that you see the old details of the beautiful building, but renovated and restyled so well! A nice playground in the shade for kids, and you can take a lovely walk (short or long) through the woods near the hotel and see goats. Finca son Cladera is even more beautiful than on the pictures. I can highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Son Cladera was truly exceptional and we couldn't have been more impressed with the accommodations.
The first thing that struck us about Son Cladera was its rich history and character. The property has been beautifully restored, maintaining its original charm and authenticity, while also providing all the modern comforts we needed for a comfortable stay.
The personalized welcome we received from the owners was also a standout feature of our experience. They took the time to show us around the property and ensure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
The tasteful and quality furnishings throughout the property were also a highlight. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived.
The breakfast service was also a wonderful touch. We enjoyed waking up in the morning to a delicious spread of fresh pastries.
Overall, we can confidently say that Son Cladera is the best accommodation we have ever had in Mallorca. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique and memorable vacation experience.
