The rural location was delightful. The scenery was great and the architecture was characterful and charming.
I was a little disappointed that the rooms we were allocated were in a location with little or no view of the surrounding area, yet there were some rooms that looked to be vacant that were opposite and had had patios with views. It didn’t ruin the trip as the rooms were comfortable and good value.
Excellent location for exploring the mountains and nature in the west, but also close to the highway to reach all cities. If you want to be far away from mass tourism in the east, this is the place. Friendly and helpful staff with good cleaning every other day. For the price/quality there's nothing to complain really.
We were located on the outside of the hotel. The accomodation is presented as a rustic Finca in the photos, but feels more like a shed on a camping. This hotel could be REALLY great, but attention to nearly all details is missing, from run-down towels with threads to a squeeky barn door that lets all bugs, light and warmth in the room.

The pool. Air conditioning. Calm.
Not very sound proof. You can hear the neighbors talking. The garden was a bit run down. Geckos everywhere. Cracks in the door and the windows that let insects in. No lights at the pool at night.
