We have stayed in the penthouse apartment for several years in a row and have always been very satisfied. Antonia, the host, is extremely welcoming, the area is beautiful, and the small bay Cala Serena is just a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is in a quiet location with a large pool, plenty of parking, and easy access to many places in the southwest of the island. We will definitely return.
Very unfortunate experience at Serena Sol Apartments. My partner and I booked a three night stay but left after the first night — I personally had no sleep as there was a very (chemical? ) bad smell and my partner had a horrible allergic reaction on top of that. We informed the hosts that it was not feasible for us to stay and that we would appreciate a reasonable resolution. We were offered new bedding (the bedding was not the cause, the smell permeated the whole place), or another apartment. Due to the way they barged into the room and practically told us that it was a *us* problem and not any fault of theirs, we felt deeply uncomfortable and wanted to leave.
Unfortunately the people running the place did not see it as a cause to give even a partial refund — insisting that since it's newly renovated and a family run business, that it can not be their fault. That it must have been us that are sensitive. They "internally reviewed" the case and repeated the fact that they are unable to give any refund, nor did they admit to any fault.
Stay somewhere else — there are much nicer places in Majorca, where customer's concerns matter.

We absolutely loved our stay! The interior and exterior of this place is just so nice, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. Everything is clean and the beach is 3 min walking distance. Lovely place!
