This was recommended to us by our boat driver. We wanted to escape the tourist trap we booked our hotel in and this did not disappoint. There is really nothing else in this small town so don’t plan on getting a drink or walking around first. Very interesting that this incredible restaurant pops up out of nowhere. We had patatas bravas, tuna nigiri, sticky rice tuna, sushi roll and gyoza. All were excellent. Have seen some reviews about the service and staff but we had positive experience. Only thing is food comes out very fast so you are left to drink but that is fine with us! Reservation is a must!
Can Mel didn’t disappoint. The service was superb, the food was delicious, especially the sushi. 🍣 Surprisingly, the food arrived almost instantly and it didn’t cease to please. The ambiance was warm and inviting and the servers were polite and efficient. The prices were more than reasonable and I highly recommend Can Mel. 😊

We stumbled into this restaurant by chance, but the owner welcomed us with open arms and managed to fit us in, despite the busy evening during peak season. The restaurant has many cozy corners and initially looks fairly small but has a significant capacity… So don't hesitate to ask when the next table frees up, even if the place looks full.
The food was great, so we followed up with another visit on our last day at Mallorca. The owner again was very kind, paid attention to every little detail, and his staff tackled every one of our requests swiftly: the whole team is just amazing (and amazingly efficient).
Extra credits go out to the bartender who mixes superb cocktails — even the simple tinto de verrano was magnificent (the best we ever had)!
