A Home Away From Home – Our Perfect Stay at Mamboo Hotel.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Mamboo Hotel in Cala Ratjada and would return in a heartbeat. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by Jana and Miguel (aka Mickey), who made us feel right at home. Even though we had mistakenly booked a single room instead of a double, they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and that it wouldn’t affect our stay. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail set the tone for a truly relaxing vacation.
It’s not just the charming hotel or the great location – it’s Jana and Miguel who truly make the difference. Their presence, warmth and dedication elevate the experience from great to unforgettable.
The breakfast is a real highlight – high-quality foods, a rich selection of fresh fruits, local specialties, and something for every taste. You can really tell the team cares about offering the best to their guests.
One of the most unique and heartwarming aspects of Mamboo is its community feel. Many of the other guests were long-time visitors, creating a very familiar and welcoming atmosphere that is rare to find in hotels. It felt more like staying with friends than in a hotel.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending functionality with coziness. A thoughtful detail we loved was the small in-house library, where you can borrow books during your stay – perfect for a relaxing beach read or lazy afternoon on the terrace.
Jana and Miguel made me feel at home at their hotel. The way they run it shows the love and care they put into it.
My room was very clean and the breakfast good quality with pretty wide choice. The swimming pool was also very clean and enjoyable.
Definitely would go back, I had a great time.

Amazing accommodation! Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The surroundings are perfectly maintained, creating an ideal place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the pool area is perfect for recharging energy and cathing the sun. Excellent location, everything is within walking distance. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!
