Staff is very helpful and friendly, owner not always in good mood. Clean rooms, fresh food, some choice of bread, cheese and other breakfast stuff. No air conditioning is the biggest disappointment. Quite noisy day and night, great spot though as close to many places, attractions, bus stops and restaurants. There is TV in the room but only operates in German.
Simple, unpretentious pension, excellent location near the port, restaurants, bars and bus stop for easy sightseeing. Clean room with modern bathroom, air conditioning. Good breakfast, nice coffee, delicious scrambled eggs. The breakfast and cleaning staff are smiling and friendly, but above all Kerstin on the front desk is both welcoming and super efficient. Great value for money.

Only booked because it was the last option last minute. The woman at the front desk was sarcastic, condescending and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Asking for extra towels got me a rude ‘you get what you pay for’ before she reluctantly handed them over. Noisy AC, unstable balcony, no hooks in the bathroom, loose shower fixture, constant toilet noise. Even at a low price, this was an awful experience. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
