Son Boronat is a gem surrounded by nature. A picturesque farmhouse nestled in the countryside of Palma de Mallorca with an elegant style, the rooms are very nice and cozy, the cleanliness is impeccable and all the staff is extremely helpful including the fantastic Francisco who for breakfast will welcome you and prepare the best scrambled eggs in Palma.
This is the second time we have returned to this place and since We had a great time, we hope to repeat next year as well!

Such a jewel! We hosted a Yoga & Breathwork retreat with international guests and we all loved this stunning place.

This should serve as a warning when booking this hotel. I had booked this accommodation for a week for June 2025 (mid June).
The company explained that they would need to book under a non-refundable rate because they would have to forego other business opportunities. At the time that made sense (and stupidly…) I moved forward.
I had to cancel (1/23 cancellation with booking for June 16) given unforeseen circumstances. When I inquired about the refund, they explained that it was non-refundable.
Several weeks later, I became aware of the fact that they had indeed rebooked for the week (they continue to not directly respond to this point… which I find unusual). When I inquired again about the deposit, they said it was non-refundable and would not compromise.
I could understand if the hotel was not rebooked, however, to rebook and then simply keep my couple of thousand dollars feels predatory.
As I said, this was stupid on my part and I’ll have to own it but seems like a terrible way to do business. If you contract with them, make sure your contract stipulates that you can receive a refund if they rebook. Otherwise, they’ll just keep your money for nothing. Awful.

Can’t recommend at all.
I recently spent 4 days at the hotel and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.
The most significant issue was the closed kitchen throughout our entire stay. We weren't informed about this prior to booking, which was particularly frustrating as we had booked only a few days in advance. As homeowners in Mallorca, we had specifically chosen this hotel for a break from cooking. The lack of dining options meant we had to drive 15-20 minutes at least 2-3 times a day just to eat. After breakfast ended at 10:30, there wasn't even an option to get a coffee.
Wasps were everywhere on the property. This is a serious concern for anyone with allergies or a fear of stinging insects. Pigeons had infested the building and regularly flew into the building, chilling in the hallway in front of our room. This was not only disgusting but also extremely noisy, waking us up multiple times during the night. The receptionist thought this was funny.
The room conditions were old and broken with things like a moldy, shower curtain, broken walls etc. See pictures attached.
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort… or even just something to eat. Sad & bad experience.

Rooms were authentic, apart from the welcome addition of Aircon. Staff were all friendly, from the receptionist to the gardener and the chef. Food was 100% on point.
The only small issue was the rocky road leading up to the location — our little rental had to go slowly.

We spent 5 nights in this wonderful hotel. A little off the beaten track and very quiet. We really enjoyed the location. The hotel is small (about 8 rooms), which we really liked. We don't like big hotels. A warm welcome from the owners, who gave us great recommendations. They also kept asking us on the phone and gave us restaurant recommendations.
Pool: very nice. Fantastic.
I would also like to praise Francisco and his wife. Very nice people. Francisco looks after the kitchen and his wife looks after the rooms. The Austrian gardener is also super nice. Francisco told me a lot about the history of the hotel. We were able to eat at the hotel once. It was excellent. Definitely my first choice when we travel to Mallorca again.
In short: Champions League.

Beautiful finca, lovely owners and a gorgeous setting. The hotel is beautiful, the view from the swimming pool is so unusual and pretty with hundreds of birds darting in and out of the trees and singing their hearts out. Our room was gorgeous with 2 private outdoor areas to sit. Perfectly balanced style with comfort and feels like home.
We cannot wait to return, it was a heavenly few days.

Amazing, intimate and beautiful hotel. Everything is designed with much love to detail. You can truly relax and calm down, as it is located beautifully in the countryside. Plus, there is much to see and visit close by. The thing we loved the most though, were the hosts & staff, who go above and beyond to give you tips and just make you feel welcome. We’d have loved to stay longer! Thank you so much!

We loved this hotel and the lovely family who run it. The ambience is lovely, the room beautiful, the common areas are stunning with lovely attention to detail. Rustic but full of charm. The pool and surrounding gardens are the most peaceful place ever — all in all a perfect place to relax and enjoy. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely, newly renovated boutique property with a lot of attention to detail to the old building's charme. We spent four nights there and felt welcome from the first second. The owners and staff are lovely and are genuinely interested in making you feel home.
Breakfast was delicious and freshly made with local ingredients. The tower room has an amazing view across the valley.
We had a very relaxing stay and are looking forward to coming back!

Very beautiful place with charming hosts. Great rooms, great bathroom, AC is a big plus and the pool/ garden area is gorgeous. Breakfast buffet is good and I highly recommend the dinner on the property, amazing food in a very nice atmosphere in the patio.
Only downside: Often rather noisy due to a lot of animals on the neighbours property (Barking small dogs, screaming rooster). Windows are not insulated so noise can be heard pretty good in the rooms.

Visited with a family of 5 (teenage kids) and Lucas and Diane were perfect hosts. It was a very hot week so we were happy with the airconditioning in the room and the pool. Courtyard is lovely and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. Unfortunately we missed the chef on-site but heard it was amazing. Cloze enough to visit the beach or go to dinner in Palma. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very special place to stay and we feel lucky to have spent a few days at Son Boronat. Antique pieces, authentic rustic decorative objects. Quiet location in the hills. Good breakfasts. Deliciously simple but beautifully cooked dinner on request. Most important, though, is the charm and attentive service given by owners Diana and Lucas, as well as by Anya who helps manage. Nothing here is too shiny or showy — just a calm, natural environment and something lovely to look at wherever you wander.

We stayed 6 nights in this wonderful place. Quiet, everything well thought of, charming hosts and staff. Our room (junior suite) had not 1 but 2 shaded terraces with comfy chairs. A truly exceptional place to get your rest, and when you want the beaches, villages and restaurants it’s only a 20 minute drive. For us the perfect combination. No towels used to reserve sunbeds because the pool is for yourself, shared with only a few other guests.
We had diner here a few times and enjoyed it very much. Good quality food, with a passionate cook that comes and showes you the raw meat and fish before preparing. Breakfast with homemade quiches and cakes, eggs prepared on the spot just the way you like it. And not to forget the good tips for small beaches, the best scenic routes, restaurants the owner August gave us. His wife Antje is so welcoming with a great eye for details around the place.
