Inturotel Sa Marina

Stayed here a few days after staying across the island in another 4* hotel. This place was excellent. Could not fault anything, here's a rundown of our time here:
We tried the outdoor pool, but due to time of year, it was a little chilly, however the indoor pool was perfect, the kids had such a good time.
We booked this for the kitchen facilities in the room, on the second night we tried to use the microwave which didn't heat, quick trip to the front desk and 10 minutes later the maintenance team had replaced it with a brand new microwave and dinner was back in cooking.
Second day we visited the beach and enjoyed swimming in the Med, absolutely beautiful setting. In the evening a walk around the harbour and all the yachts.
Third night we went out to one of the bars nearby with kids to see some live performances, which was 'entertaining' 😅
Last day came too fast, we enjoyed the beach again and some time in the pool.
Only thing that could make this better would be a dishwasher in the kitchen, but that is probably asking too much of the limited space.
Overall a perfect stay, and I will book back here again in a heartbeat.

Just back from a fantastic week at Sa Marina and can’t recommend it enough! The location is spot on – just a few minutes’ walk to the town and marina, but still lovely and quiet.
Apartments are spotless and cleaned every day. Beds really comfortable and the shower was amazing. Loved the extra door from the bedroom to the balcony – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee without waking our daughter who was sleeping in the lounge area.
Air con was excellent and the rooms are well soundproofed, so really peaceful at night. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Pool areas were clean and well maintained.
Can’t comment on the food as we ate out, but everything else was first class. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would happily stay here again!

This hotel is excellent for adults but lacks atmosphere or fun for older kids. Pool table is stuck indoors which was very disappointing for us as it’s one of our son’s favourite activities during the day. This should he made clear in information. No balls are allowed on the pool, so again limits fun for older kids. The hotel and grounds are very luxurious and sun beds are always available. Pool towels are supplied which was an added bonus. AC is excellent and the rooms are the best we’ve had. Pool bar is very overpriced therefore never busy day or night which is a shame as the quality is lovely. Would be a five star rating if the pool table was outside and the pool allowed a ball. Unfortunately due to the negatives mentioned we wouldn’t return as a family.

Just spent 5 days here with my daughter. Fantastic place to stay, excellent pool, staff were great, the apartment was spacious and we loved the fact we had a small kitchen with everthing you need so could self cater when we wanted to.
The hotel is in a great location, close to the centre and all amenities but still very quiet and relaxing.
We will be returning!

Maximum possible number of stars! A great place: a quiet place, located in the center of the town, no noise of typical holiday resorts due to the October stay, but very close to the beach in beautiful bays. Hotel — beautiful, beautiful, new apartments, modern and tastefully decorated, smells clean, staying there for a few days is pure pleasure. Clean surroundings, well-groomed vegetation and blue sky overhead. And the people who take care of the hotel — looking after it every day, helpful, friendly, giving a sense of security, but not intrusive. I'm very happy that I managed to find such an amazing place, I sincerely recommend it and I will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our time at Sa Marina, the place is spotless, the staff are so lovely, apartments are spacious with plenty storage for a family of 4 and the definite highlight for our two boys was the football pitch right next to the largest swimming pool. They played football with Swedes, Germans, French, Dutch, Danish, English and fellow Scot’s, such a fantastic addition to an excellent resort. Plenty sun beds so no early towels down.
The extra door out to balcony from the bedroom in apartment is a genius idea for us parents when kids are in bed we could sit out and enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony while kids slept. Food and drinks at pool bar were excellent and similar prices to out and about. Location is fab, close to everything but not noisey at all. Our apartment was facing a road but we had the sun most of the day so we were delighted.
We would absolutely recommend Sa Marina!

The hotel was beautiful. The entire hotel and grounds were extremely clean and tidy and the cleaning staff were cleaning several times a day. The room was simple, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the shower was easy to use, the TV only had a few channels in English, the balcony was bigger than others that I have used with a table, chairs, clothes airer and ashtray (if needed). We had bed and breakfast, the food was lovely and a good selection although for vegetarians like myself there was not a lot of choice of hot food (hence only giving four stars). The cleaning staff did a very good job cleaning the room and the reception staff were so friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay there again.

This is a fabulous hotel in a fabulous resort. All the staff we met were a real asset to the hotel — big friendly smiles and very helpful.
We had a studio apartment which was perfect for us — a large comfy bed, great modern bathroom with rainforest shower, little kitchenette with full size fridge, coffee machine & everything you could need to prepare a simple meal. Huge wardrobe. Huge balcony. The whole place is immaculately clean and rooms are serviced daily — clean towels daily if you want. There is a charge for room safes.
The two pools — just wow! Always plenty of sun beds. Immaculately maintained landscaping and gardens. A great little pool bar at one of the pools and there are even rocking chairs there so you can really chill with a beer, wine or cocktail and prices are competitive. There is food available there too. Free pool towels which you can change 3 times per weeks.
Twice weekly entertainment.
We didn’t try breakfast — its quite pricey at €17 per person, we thought, but it did look really good — buffet style with lots of choice and it all looked great.
The hotel is a 5 minute easy stroll from the shops and loads of restaurants. 10 minute easy stroll to beaches.
An absolutely perfect holiday and we’ll definitely be booking again next year.

We have just returned from 11 nights at the Sa Marina, can only say it was perfect the rooms are spacious and clean with all the facilities you need including TV (rooms are cleaned everyday) the staff are so helpful and friendly. The facilities are superb, the indoor pool and jacuzzi, two large outdoor pools, gym, spa and sauna all very clean and well managed. Have read other reviews complaining of over zealous lifeguards around the pools but we never witnessed any issues whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was very good and the food in the Gastrobar was excellent (as was the service), There was live entertainment on 3 nights which was guitar duo's, we found these to be very good, (if you are wanting nightly caberet shows then you are in the wrong hotel). The location is perfect 5 minute walk from the centre with numerous cafes and resturants and 10 min from the marina with all the yachts and marina side cafes and resturants. There are supermarkets within walking distance, a spar two minutes walk and a large mercador supermarket within 10mins walk. Overall the Sa Marina is the perfect getaway for a quality holiday. It is easily a 4 star and very close to being a 5 star hotel.
We will certainly be back next year.

Do not be put off by the reviews full of complaints and giving Sa Marina two stars it is clear these people booked the wrong hotel…

Amazing hotel, the reception and cleaning staff were exceptional, the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds were fantastic, the rooms cleaned everyday and new towels. Our 1 bed apartment was perfect fit for two people and nice to have a kitchen area. Only issue was our air con didn’t work but was ok as September. Breakfast also had plenty of options. Location 5 min walk to the lively town and close to 2 lovely beaches. We would 100% book here again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, couldn't ask for better with all local restaurants, bars and shops within a 5 minute walk. It's a 10 min walk to the marina and the beaches. As for the hotel, the rooms were adequate, we had a self catering kitchen suite. So a separate bedroom and kids on the sofa/bed in the living room. The room was clean and even the TV had UK channels which was nice. We had an air conditioning leak which happened at nearly midnight, dripping all into the wardrobe and onto the clothes, you could tell this had happened many times before due to the water damage on the wardrobe, (no vouchers or anything even offered for the inconvenience). It stopped eventually and was fixed the next day.
So, would I come here again…? Unfortunately not. This hotel is very strict on rules, too strict, especially around the pools.

Our 9th visit to Sa Marina/Cala D'Or… It's such a beautiful perfect place!
The buildings and gardens are immaculate. Apartments are comfortable, beautifully furnished and well equipped. A/C is quiet and effective. Internet is free and room safe is 3.50 euros per day. Rooms are serviced daily.
2 freshwater "lagoon" pools have separate kid's pool and life guards on duty. Pool towels are provided free. There is a Kid's Club and activities/ information is via the Hotel App.
Accommodation is self catering or B+B… 2 good supermarkets are just 200 m. Away. Half board is no longer available… dinner may be taken in the new improved "Sa Sivina" gastrobar, providing a range of dishes to suit all tastes. Live music is provided 2x weekly.
The area around Pool 2 has been dramatically altered in 2024 to provide a wide range of different seating areas for relaxing or sunbathing. The Hotel definitely has an improved "up market" feel! Staff are so friendly, helpful and professional.
"Sa Marina" has a perfect central location. 5 mins walk to the Town Centre with its vast selection of shops, bars and restaurants, or 15 mins walk to the stunning Marina… perfect to enjoy a walk, drink or meal while admiring all the boats!
"Sa Marina" definitely "ticks every box" and we are already planning to return next year!

Just had an amazing 10 days been before in 2019 just as great, but if you are buying inflatables for the pool only get the ringos as people were at spending lots of money as we did on LILO’s to be told you cannot use them even the flamingo ones.

The management staff offers the employees, and with the knowledge of the management. Permanent employees are repeatedly forced to take on shifts even though they are actually free. Absolutely illegal working hours. Very bad company. Guests need to know that. Please do not visit this hotel again and do not support this action anymore.

We stayed at the Sa Marina for one week with our two children. What a wonderful experience we had! The hotel is spotlessly clean, all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Service around the pool was magnificent (Nickola) and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Our children were well cared for in mini club, the reps were great and put on some brilliant shows in the evenings. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay x.
