Alcanada Golf Hotel

Just returned from this gem of a hotel having stayed here with my adult daughter for some mum/daughter time. I loved everything about this hotel. The staff are amazing, helped with anything I asked about. The pool area is well looked after and very relaxing. The breakfast buffet was lovely lots of choice and delicious food. The room was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in anywhere. Clean, comfortable and spacious. I loved the roof terrace where my daughter and I would sit and read late into the evening with fantastic views. Only a short taxi ride if you want to go into Puerto Alcúdia where it’s much more lively. All in all a great stay thankyou to all the hotel staff.

We are now in this hotel. Booked a room that was supposed to be 25m2. Very nice in the picture but we have a room in a corner that is not even 12m2 and where instead of a large bed as in the picture there is a 140 cm wide bed. This was reported to the reception but no service, nothing was done about it. Too bad we often come to Mallorca but never again in this hotel. Misleading information.

Just returned from a week's stay at Mar Hotel Alcanada. We wanted a small, quiet hotel in an area which wasn't buzzing with tourists, but not too far from local towns. This is exactly what this hotel gave us.
On arrival, we were greeted by Felipe, who checked us in and gave us all the information we needed to settle in, along with a welcome glass of cava.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well prepared for us. A lovely little balcony which overlooked the residential area, pool and the bay.
Large choice of cooked or continental breakfast. Evening meals were very nice too.
Pool was cleaned every day, and I did enjoy a few swims there.
A spar shop next door where you could buy some provisions if you want to.
Staff were excellent, very friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. Reception staff were available at all times to answer any questions, give advice, order taxis and generally have a chat.
There are buses to nearby towns which seem regular, although we chose to use taxis, which are reasonably priced for local journeys.
The location is in a residential area, with another restaurant across the road, but also overlooked the bay. Not a sandy beach, but still beautiful to have a walk along.
If I was the manager of this hotel, I would be very proud of my staff who make the guests so welcome and comfortable. We will definitely return here at some point in the future, and recommend it to anyone who wishes to go to this area.

Amazing stay at this cute and beautiful boutique hotel! Perfect place to disconnect from everything and fully relax. Especially we fell in love with the incredible balcony with the sea view that we had. As well we enjoyed chill time by the swimming pool and had a tasty breakfast and lunch at the hotel's restaurant with a nice terrace.
Important to mention that all the staff is very professional, friendly and attentive. Starting from the general manager Sebastian, who is doing his best to ensure that every client is having an amazing time at the hotel. Especially we would like to mention a very kind and professional receptionist Felipe, who gave us a warm welcome and detailed information about the hotel and was very helpful during our stay. What is more, the hotel has a very nice restaurant with delicious food. You can come to the restaurant even though you are not a client of the hotel, which is very convenient. Important to mention the impeccable work and professionalism of the restaurant manager Sergio. At the restaurant, we had some starters and the black seafood paella, which was one of the best that we had tried. Highly recommend trying it! Therefore, many thanks to the chief of the kitchen David, and the cook Irene.
All in all, we had a wonderful time at the hotel so definitely, we will come back, as well as we will return to this amazing restaurant for dinner!

We found Mar Hotels Alcananda an excellent place to enjoy and relax. Being smaller hotel with circa 40 rooms, staff are friendly and helpful — whilst making it an enjoyable place to stay.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic — it had an excellent selection of fruit, cured meats, breads, pastries, 4 different juices each day along with a selection of hot food too.
The bar prices were very reasonable — and they offered delivery to your sub lounger.
There was a super market on site, ideal for getting supplies and ice cream.
Being just outside of alcudia we took the bus in to town a few times, its quick and easy to get — costing only a couple euros.
The beaches nearby are rocky — though beautiful. There's a restaurant on site — and a selection of bars and restaurants nearby (circa 3 in total).
We originally booked a junior studio, though were upgraded to a pool studio. It was colossal in size and would be ideal for a young family with two separate bedrooms. The sea view (slightly hidden behind the main hotel) was lovely.
All in all, we'd thoroughly recommend.

I have been visiting Majorca for 20 years and I have stayed in various hotels around Alcudia. Hands down, this is the best hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are immaculate, the staff are incredible and it provided a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The facilities at the hotel are top noch and nothing is to much for the staff. The hotel is very well placed being outside of the busy and noisy town but within walking distance to it. I rarely stay in the same hotel twice but I will definitely be making this my 'go to' hotel when I return.

The hotel and staff were a joy, and the food was wonderful, the hotel was very clean. The pool was never busy and we always got a sunbed. We had a seaview suite which had a separate seating area with another TV and a kettle. We had amazing sea views. Wonderful walks and bus stops outside the hotel.

We booked this holiday with Love Holidays about 4 x months ago via there website.
When we arrived (after a 1 hour delay) at 3am on the Sunday 25th. The receptionist Felipe was there to great us. He was exceptional, Kind and couldn't help us enough. Told us the basic things we needed to know so we could get into our room for a sleep.
Wake the next morning to still see him there, We had problems and some questions. He soon answered all of them. Room was 106 first floor above reception. One of the cleanest rooms, one of the best views out to sea and could see the swimming pool and the view all down the road. Breakfast is good, Continental style or you can have they say Full English, Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled Egg and Hash browns. Or both That did us. It was all you can eat, we didn't find that out till 2 hours later when they chased us for payment 38 Euros for 2 of us. (we gave them our room number) Pool very cold but you needed it at 31 degrees everyday (not England's 30 degrees its Spain's 30 degrees 40+ everyday! ) Food at the restaurant was stunning Gorgeous. Maria who was our cleaner was brill cleaned everyday, if you were in still she would come back.
No Noise, Food and Drink in the Bar, Spar shop on site as well. Fresh bread, Croissants, Pan au Chocolate, Doughnuts, Apple Turnovers, Slices of Pizza!
All in all we will deffo be going back.
Brill for couples, No Entertainment by the pool or restaurant, The Port is 8 Euro in a taxi and can be booked by the Hotel.

First time stayed in this hotel with my partner and couldn’t have better time. Hotel staff were amazing and made us feel special. Specially Sergio and Fellipe — their worth is more than GOLD. Whole hotel feels more like family. We really enjoyed our Junior suite room with so much space and stunning sea view. Breakfast in hotel were delicious with the best cappucinos and dinners were always so tasty in restaurant style. Pool was perfect and never too full and we really could feel relaxed on this holiday exactly what we needed. We loved Alcanada and Alcudia already but now we love it even more. We definitely will be back. 💝😍

We arrived here a couple of weeks after it’s recent takeover and we were pleasantly surprised by just how much we loved this hotel. We had a pool suite room, which was large and spacious with a great view over the pool and was cleaned everyday. We went to the pool quite a bit and more often that not we were the only people there, this added to the relaxation. We stayed bed and breakfast and this is the best hotel breakfast either of us have ever had, the coffee was perfect and there was a wide selection of hot food, pastries, juice, cereals, yogurts, fruits etc. We also ate in the restaurant on a night a couple of times and this was also really tasty, and at a really reasonable price. The hotel is a little out from Alcudia but only about a 20 minute walk, and there is a beach just over the road from the hotel and some surrounding restaurants which were great, especially recommend paying to eat at La Terrazza.
The staff really made this hotel stay amazing for us and brought it up a level, nothing was too much trouble and always smiling and asking how we are and really going above and beyond. We’re already looking at booking to come back, and we can’t wait!
