Review of Apartamentos El Trebol 3*

I always say you get what you pay for and this hotel managed to stand up to the test. Only about half an hour from the airport with stops for other passangers. A five minute walk to the beach and the start of shops and bars. There were other bars next to the hotel also but they were not as good. The food at El Trebol was overall good. Nothing fancy but each lunch and dinner there was chicken, beef, fish and salad. I dont know what the other people writing reviews eat at home, but there was always something good to have. Breakfast was a bit repetative but if your only there for 7 days no problem. Usual british cooked stuff, cereals, fruit and toast… and chips if you want? And some did? Waitress service very quick and clearing dishes and cleaning. Excellent in fact. The room me and mrs had was spacious and clean with little kitchen area if you wished to use. No fear of damp or cockroaches in other reviews. The hotel seemed quite busy but there was always enough room and sunbeds. The poolside was very clean and nice (dont worry about other reviews). The resort itself was small but nice. Reception was quick and easy for arrival and departure. Only downside for me was the drinks for all inclusive. The beer was ok. My wife said wine was ok but I didnt like it. The spirits were all local as per the hotel description but honestly they werent great. Tried the evening entertainment but was mostly based around kids and we spent most evenings out. When out, we found food and drinks really good quality and good prices. All inclusive is obviously cheaper but pound for pound the resort was better value.
