Located on the city's main pedestrian street, the La Fuente complex is just a short walk from El Salvador Church and Santa Cruz’s restaurants, bars and shops. The city is an ideal base for exploring the island of La Palma, or for taking a ferry to Tenerife.

➜ Located in the heart of Santa Cruz, the building includes many floors (five or six) and fairly large and clean rooms, some with terraces overlooking the street and sea beyond the first block. The staff is very attentive and professional and constitutes a wealth of information about accommodation on the island. The equipment of the apartments is also ok without being remarkable but the prices are not particularly advantageous.

We hit an apartment with window to the main street, essential on hot days as they are quite hot (they do not have air conditioning)
The furniture and services leave a lot to be desired. There's no microwave, cauldrons and pans stick.
The overall appearance is of a 1970s apartment which was also not clean thoroughly. The bathroom had the taps in a sink. The shower was about to rot. A very bad impression for something that can be easily changed.
When you arrive you are insisted that you go up to the solarium, which is nothing more than a roof terrace with outdated and uncomfortable furniture. There is no elevator.
In short, we found it very expensive for what it offers.
They have a "tourist update certificate" on a wall that will happen between 2017 and 2020. Let's hope they really get better.

Appartments are clean and big, the owners are reeeaaly adorable and always here to help you. Be careful there is no parking for the hotel.
