Very well maintained hotel with really large rooms. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The waiters in the restaurant are very attentive and clear the plates immediately after they are empty. Nothing stands around. The selection of buffets is not excessively lavish but really fine. The food itself was always good. Both tasteful and qualitative.
All in all, I would come back here immediately.

Great hotel clean, nice service and large rooms. Only the buffet could have been a little more varied, nevertheless highly recommended.

Very good hotel with spacious rooms. From the pool on the roof you have a great view to the sea as well as to the mountains. The plant is well in shot. Only the buffet in the restaurant made me quite fit to the class. However, we were very satisfied.

Very nice four star hotel. We were very pleased. The whole hotel has about 60 rooms for a maximum of 3 people (one double bed + one umbaubare couch).
The rooms are very spacious. A sleeping area, a living room with cooking facilities and of course a bathroom.
The facilities are very good with a safe, television, fridge and W-lan in the room.
The buffet is adapted to the size of the hotel and actually something for everyone. There was a fish dish every night, among other things.
If we return to La Gomera, we will rent again.
For rent cars The hotel has its own (free) garage under the square.
Since Valle Gran Rey is not quite so large, everything is within easy walking distance.
As there are a lot of restaurants in the area, despite the good buffets, we would only book breakfast and dine Out in the evening.
Nearby is a Spar shop as well as various small supermarkets for the need for on the go. We had booked for a day of hotel catering and were somewhat disappointed by the value for money.
The staff is friendly and helpful, the waitresses at the restaurant are very accommodating, and the chefs always keep an eye on the buffet so the bowls don't get empty.
We have made our visit to all the Canary Islands.
That's why La Gomera will have to wait a bit.

This Hotel is great. Nice rooms and an extraordinary service. So friendly and helpful. Free parking is offered, relevant for those who want to keep explore La Gomera. The breakfast ist really good. Dinner is quite ok, it could be made with a bit more raffinesse to fit a 4* hotel and there could be a bit more variance. Overall, it is ok. The service always was really great. I'd enjoyed my stay at the Playa Valera and will for sure come back again.

This hotel is really great. The rooms and generally the grounds are very modern and clean. The breakfast and dinner is really delicious and varied. The roof terrace was especially nice. There you could relax and enjoy the tranquility.
The location is also good. Right next to it is the sea and some restaurants and shops are also nearby. Also the service was always very friendly. At this hotel everything was just fine.

Highly recommend to anyone who wants a fab holiday. The staff are lovely, the good is very nice & the hotel is kept very clean.

We had one of the apartments belonging to the hotel without sea views but without constant special food what made the temperature inside pleasant food we had in the form of half sion in the hotel.
There was nothing to be left up for either breakfast or dinner buffet.
Always there was a rich selection of fish poultry meat salads fruit cereal rolls, bread etc. Etc.
All the food was always very fresh and delicious, also fantastically prepared, here the eye ate with. We were happy with the weather we took all the food outside and were very enthusiastic about the very attentive and friendly staff, always striving and everything in view Without being pushy, however. Very high praise I would come back at any time and feel comfortable without missing anything.
Yes, the attentive guest in front of me at the buffet had really noticed before he had rented the staff for 10 minutes … there is no Baden wine here.

Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location. Staff throughout the hotel were always friendly and helpful. Wonderful large modern rooms. Great food. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Hoping to return in November.

Fantastic hotel, on a stunning island. The rooms, staff and food are excellent. The roof top pool is out of this world. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to come back in October.

Good location, modern design but very poor service focused on hotel costs but surely not on customers. We have been there before and was much better. This time reception staff tried hard to make the stay unpleasant. Nice terrace pool but very windy makes it usefull rarely.
