Hotel on the dunes of Maspalomas very nice. Staff. Spacious rooms and a lot of cleanliness.

Breakfast buffet and food are very good; the service generally excellent! Very friendly, accommodating and competent staff. And also the location is great; Close to the beach and within walking distance in the evening to the entertainment facilities (beach promenade, shopping centers Cita and Jumbo) — all in one for a great and relaxing holiday recommended!

We had spent a great holiday in this complex. An excellent service 👌everything picobello clean. Both the breakfast and the evening buffet were outstanding. We can recommend 🥰 this hotel.

Great treatment from the workers and amazing cleaning service. The lifeguard very attentive and disinfecting the hammocks. Despite being a small buffet they have a great variety of food, as well as the menu to order in the pool. And let's not talk about the views of the Dunes (incredible) with an access door to them from the hotel.
Without a doubt, we will repeat.

We have spent several holidays at the Santa Malaga Suites Hotel, both in May and November. We were always very satisfied — very spacious rooms/suites with large seating area, comfortable beds, great, friendly and attentive staff.
Many thanks now also to Rafa, who has been very committed to the search for an alternative (Storno because of Covid-19).

Thank you so much for two wonderful weeks with you. Lovely food, clean and modern hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day by the smiling and cheerful cleaning staff. The pool area was cleaned every day and appeared very welcoming. A fantastic breakfast buffet and dinner buffet every day. The hotel can really be recommended.

It’s our first time visiting Gran Canaria and to stay in such a beautiful hotel was the best!
The rooms are spacious and so very clean!
They’re cleaned daily and smell like fresh lemons.
The hotel is clean and modern with a chic design. The decor colours are great.
We were greeted on arrival with champagne.
The whole time we felt like we were staying at a 5star spa hotel.
Nothing was to much for the hard working, friendly staff. We even had a lovely waiter cater for our needs at the poolside.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view. The room was large and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed here for a week and it was way too short. We had one person who had to eat gluten-free (celiac disease) and every evening we asked the staff to cook if there were options in the buffet or if something special could be made. It was one of the best buffet restaurants we ever had while staying with the gluten-free food, also with breakfast there were plenty of options. The pool was never too full and enough beds during the day! If we go back to Gran Canaria we will definitely stay here again. Also very nice: the back door runs straight into the dunes, making it such a beautiful location. Very quiet too. But if you would like to go out, you are within a short walk in the center of Playa del Ingles.

Been here two times, March and July. A really great hotel. Large rooms, nice staff, close to the dunes and shopping. Sun beds for every one in the pool area. The staff is correct and friendly. I warmly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing. The best place to stay in Playa del Ingles. Breathtaking sea views! very professional /charming staff, elegant-modern hotel yet relaxed atmosphere. Dinner buffet was wonderful, quality and variety of food was excellent. There were no queques or rush in the restaurant. The clientele were all quiet, well mannered and "well heeled" international mix of straight and gay couples. Thank you for making us feel so good and relaxed ❤️

UN — Family Friendly After playing with a ball in the pool for a week was told by miserable lifeguard that now not allowed, even though at the time there was no one else in pool. This hotel is not for families as obviously they are not allowed to have fun. No playing with toys in the pool, no jumping in the pool. Most people staying are couples, we are a family of five and therefore paying a lot of money to be basically told we can't enjoy ourselves. Booked with Jet2, however they should not be marketing this place as a family hotel as it clearly isn't on many levels. Definitely won't be coming back.

Very nice and extremely clean hotel. Good breakfast and dinner. Would give 5 stars if they would do more for non smokers. My family are asthmatic and the pool is almost a no go area for us due to the fact that smoking is allowed everywhere around the pool. No special non smoking area (down wind) is available.

Nice, good hotel, extremely clean and good internal restaurant. Only disadvantage is that guests at the pool are allowed to smoke everywhere. As a non smoker with relatives with astma we have difficulty avoiding the smoke. Advice for hotel: make dedicated area for smokers so that the majority of guests who do not smoke can enjoy fresh air. In that case ithis would be 5 star.

You have unbeatable views of the Dunes of Maspalomas as well as direct access to them. It has a relaxation area, a gym and even a garage for bicycles. It also has a large pool area, terrace bar and all in a medium sized hotel where it is impossible to get lost. The service is great and the rooms are very comfortable. Worth visiting and enjoying at least once in a lifetime.

Beautiful hotel with a very good location. Well-kept hotel, friendly staff, very large modernity and well-kept rooms and the food was always very tasty. So everything you need for a nice holiday. Due to the fact that this hotel is quite small (approx. 180 rooms) it is not a large complex and everything is manageable and well maintained. It was renovated 2 years ago and so everything is modernly furnished. Here it is not missing and everything is thought of e. G. Extra pool towels.

As external Guests of the Evening Buffet, we have been pleasantly surprised three times so far. Diverse, well presented, moderate in Price. Very friendly Staff. Unfortunately, to visit only three Consecutive Evenings, this sets out something. Best Buffet in a Wide Perimeter, for external Guests. On our fourth Visit we were disappointed, the Opening Time was not recognizable to external Guests, shortened by an Hour. Hustle and Cleaning Women Bill around 21:30! The Sun set around 20:55 here, take a grooming move?

We can only recommend the Santa Monica Suites Hotel. The hotel is top. The staff very very friendly. The food of madness. The view beautiful of the sea and the dunes. The room was a dream, very large and cozy. I celebrated my 40th birthday there and got a bottle of wine. My family then organized a cake that was prepared there directly in the hotel. A dream So I can't fault anything. We will certainly be back. Thank you for the great service.

Two years ago, shortly after the reopening, I "landed" in this beautiful hotel with my two children at very short notice — because I rebooked my planned holiday in Turkey because of the coup attempt. It was a wonderful holiday! The hotel is very well maintained and modernly furnished, the rooms cozy and appealing, the beds king size, so that we have comfortably fit in three. We had booked half board, which I would recommend to everyone. In the high season, the guests are divided into two stages during the meal (you can choose yourself at check-in), which is very pleasant, as the usual crowd at the buffet is not. The food is a dream! In the evening there were always 2 cold soups (very refreshing! ) and also daily fish, lots of fruit and delicious desserts. At lunchtime there are small and tasty snacks such as fries or salads at the bar. There is "only" a pool, but this was also perfect for us, as I always had the children in view and could relax on the couch. In the evening after dinner it sits very comfortably in the lounge area above the pool and you can end the day with a cocktail with the view over the dunes… The staff is very accommodating and friendly in all areas. My tip for booking: I had only looked at some package providers for this summer, but the prices exceeded my budget. So I booked directly through the hotel at a great price and with free cancellation option up to one day (!

Great hotel and very friendly staff! Buffet food is nice and does vary each night. Recently refurbished so everything is clean and very modern. Very close to the dunes. Few minutes walk to beach and around 45 mins to lighthouse along beach.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location leading immediately onto the dunes. Hotel restaurant is decent for buffet style food and it's easy walking distance to plenty of nice restaurants.

The quality of the food is far away from what it costs. The room looks clean at first sight and makes a decent impression, but my cleaning lady would have got one on the lid for this (I also offer holiday flats and put great importance on that everything is always "tip top"). Positive: The view is terrific and the staff is very friendly.

My wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing ten day holiday here between 17th and 27th March 2018. Rooms are amazing, views are amazing, food is amazing… but best of all are the amazing staff. They are all wonderful but a special mention to Rosetta and Eva.

Very nice and well-groomed hotel in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are large, clean, well equipped and have fantastic views of the upper floors. Especially recommended are the eastern upper floors, as you have the sun there until late in the afternoon and enough distance to the evening events.

The pearl of Playa del Inglés that was my second stay at Snta Monica. Very nice hotel. Family. Very friendly and competent staff. Situated and very accommodating.
The rooms are very nicely furnished, offer everything you need. Location right by the dunes/beach. Within walking distance to the nearest shopping centre (Cita).
A special highlight is the "Dune Sauna" on the 4th floor with a view of the endless dunes/sea. Small but well equipped fitness room with power and endurance equipment.
The breakfast buffet is very rich, besides English — and continental breakfast It offers many fruits, yogurts and other delicacies.

We stayed in july/august 2017 with our 4 years old son for 10 days half board in a Junior suite located on the top floor. Amazing views on the sand dunes and sea, food and very very friendly staff.
Even it was high season, no over-crowded swimming pool and sunbeds and only a handful of kids (we already knew that at beforehand reading the reviews).
Will definitely come back again.
Ps: when booking this accommodation make sure you book a room with sea and dunes view on the top floors, unless you prefer a swimming pool view ;). It's def worth the money.

We are very satisfied. It's wonderfully quiet. The beds are great, we are looking forward to a peaceful night. And first breakfast. We enjoy our late breakfast very much.

Hotel to be chosen just for the view. 5 floors of rooms: 1st floor with rooms directly at the pool, 5th floor with magic view on the dunes of Maspalomas. Rooms are quite big, well cleaned, although during windy days it fills with sand. But this is to be considered normal. Food is not bad: breakfast is good and rich of choises, dinner has weekly dishes, not always in my taste; Do not think to use the gym ot the SPA as I can say they do not exhist. Gym: a full workout is impossible to be effected; there are 5 or 6 machines, no dunbells nor weights. SPA has only a sauna (with impressing view on the dunes) which should be open till 18 00, but if the staff decides to close earlier you can find it closed. The staff is always kind, apart the people at the reception that sometimes forget to greet you. TV with 4 italian channels (in other hotels in Maspalomas TV programs were focused on north Europe citizens). Customers mainly from Germany.

An hotel to be shamed! If you walking the lovely promenade the view is only interrupted by this block of concrete 'luxury' hotel. And you wonder how it was ever built in the first place. I am sure there is plenty of people that identify well with the logic of paying a fortune for a great view all to yourself, who cares about the rest… Just be aware that every day hundreds of people walking along that promenade look at this 'thing' in total disdain.

I stayed here at this hotel for 2 weeks it was excellent service through out my holiday. The staff are super friendly nothing was too much trouble for them? I enjoyed the pool about 2 times as the beach was roughly 5 minutes away across the sand dunes. The hotel rooms are emasculate and very modern.
The food was excellent in the mornings and evening. During the day there was a good snack bar area.
The hotel is about 300m from Playa Del Ingles not a long walk.
I would recommend anyone to stay here if you don’t want to be disturbed during the night or day.

Completely refurbished, the Santa Monica Suite exudes a new sheen. The room was very clean and comfortable. For the holiday to completely switch off. The pool area is skillfully wind protected to keep the sand a bit.
The staff is very friendly.
The location is unique and right in the dune landscape below the seafront promenade. And yet you are quickly in the center, on the Beach mile or in the dunes.

Hotel 5 floors, 1/2 floors can not see the sea, 3-5 floors is the sea, the hotel location is very good, all staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, strongly recommended.

Great service and the terraces are kind of protected from the wind. The room is clean, the staff always greets you with a smile and the breakfast is one of the best. As a vegetarian, there are a lot of fresh fruit to chose from. The espresso is nice, although you'll have to press the button 2-3 times for a double espresso. Close to the beach, supermarket and lunch restaurants. Calm atmosphere everywhere. Electric Sauna set at 70 degrees.

Great location for a relaxing holidays and quality time with a child if you want to avoid typical family resorts with loads of activities. Great staff as well. I am extremely pleased with my stay and overall atmosphere at the hotel. I can't recommend it enough for both the quality of their customer service as well as the quality of facilities.

My new favorite hotel in the south of the island! Design, functionality and above all rest! The breakfast was excellent. The pool bar is terrific both in food and cocktails and at a reasonable price for a 4 * SUP hotel.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Very modern with every attention paid to detail. Room was outstanding with a huge bed and fantastic rainfall shower. Lots of room to move around with a comfy sofa area (with a plasma TV that had English channels). There was a large balcony with the most incredible views over Maspalomas sand dunes. Great service by the staff who were always friendly, pleasant and helpful. The pool area was great with plenty of sunbeds and free towels and the sun was out around the pool area all day long. If u walked down the back steps from the hotel you could set foot right on the dunes. We were half board and I can not fault the food at all! Lots of variety. Breakfast outside in the sun every morning was a real treat! I would thoroughly recommend! The free Wi-Fi was also a great bonus. The only downside (for my partner) was the fitness centre… perhaps more free weights should be added and a multi-gum maybe? The air con was a wee bit temperamental however it was crazily hot in September! We got a heat wave. I can not comment on the spa as I didn't use it. I heard great reports though. I'll definitely consider a revisit in the future!

One of the most amazing hotels I've been to. Was given complementary champagne and flowers as a birthday surprise. The staff are very attentive and will help you with anything you'll ask! (we even got cocktails made after the bar got closed as the chef was still there! ). I'd recommend anyone to go here for a luxurious stay for a very reasonable price.

The friendliness of the staff is particularly important. Here everyone can see the joy of working in this hotel. An enrichment for the team is Jessica, who mixes delicious cocktails (Santa Monica Fizz) in the bar and enchants the guests with her charming manner. Definitely the best hotel in Playa del Ingles right now. We're happy to come back.

The combination of Thomson's fight, private transfer and your Suites is first class, I would expect to pay more. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean with good food. State-of-the-art design hotel in excellent location next to the dunes. Cleanliness & service may need to be improved. Buffet restaurant offers great dishes. Pity, the restaurant has no dedicated non-smoking zone — so, even the best dish just tastes the way the cigarillo at the surrounding table does…

Excellent location, the best of price and quality, very nice sea view!

The hotel offers an excellent location directly overlooking the sea and the dunes. The price-performance ratio is good.
If man or woman expect any luxury vacation, then the rooms with balcony and kitchen and extra bedroom is sufficient.
Very near you can shop in the shopping center at the SPAR. The food prices are twice as high as in Germany. But still affordable. Sausage and cheese are the most expensive.
We have shopped and cooked a little. 2 stove without oven
sufficient. The refrigerator has a freezer and was quite new.
You should be a little vial washing up liquid (gibts dm or Rossmann drugstores), pepper and salt, candles, cloth etc. Bring your own, then you must buy it there.
Tip: Pretend as if you go to the tents. So quiet a few foods in the case (not in the hand luggage — due to security) Pack. Because there only summer clothes are necessary.
BB´s is the sea views from the 3rd floor. The 4 is better. Or 5th floor.

Was quite okay. Pool for the price was okay but you should not fell to expect. Otherwise, everything was clean and staff for the most part very friendly. What has however not like me was the food. Little selection, the meat was often tough and cooked the pasta for much too long. The rooms are okay too. It has beautiful views of the sea or thin but only from the 4 or 5 stock.

A privilege that you leave behind the hotel and the sand of the beach, a luxury for the few hotels are already treading. In the room get you a cricket, anecdote that perhaps brings you luck, other negative circumstances in your opinion that you can find valoraras it to be able or not to return to visit the complex. Hosting is a matter of luck, some them iran, to others not.
