Impeccable service and excellent hotel. Spend new year's with the family without doubt was the best option for staying.

Cleaning attention to details, excellent cuisine, extremely friendly staff and all.

I don’t want to leave! My room is comfy and over looks some lemon trees. Super close to the old town so you can’t beat it. The staff are the best.

The hotel is very nice. I wish they would have helped us check in to Ryanair… We were charged an extra 100£ for not having checked in on line… Extremely disappointed…

This is a beautiful historic old convent converted into a high end hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

Cozy hotel with comfortable beds and pillows, has a small pool, gym and massage room, which I recommend, the massage is very professional, we were making the way and helped me unload without hurting myself, which helped me a lot in the last stage.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant the rations are very large although maybe the fish was not as fresh as I expected, it tasted like freezer.
Very good and quality breakfast with hot dishes at the moment.

Attentive service but not enough staff available at reception. Room was very nice, but toilet lacked privacy. We were charged 70 EUR for a suite because we were 3 people and then another 35 EUR for a cot, when we were told that it would be 70 EUR extra only.

Staff were polite, with good English. Hotel was very pretty, clean and interesting. Mattresses very comfortable and rooms clean and tidy. All in all, very pleasant, excellent food but missing the little extra something that would have made it truly special.

Quiet&reluxing atmosphere. Nice restaurant. Free parking. Reasonable room charge, free BF with Marriott gold member. Little far from city center but walkable about 15 minutes through Alameda park.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful.

The place was very cozy and elegant, it is euna quiet area but close to the city center. It has free parking for guests. The attention was exquisite at all times and we were offered courtesy umbrella for the unstable time of Galicia. I would repeat without any doubt.

Quiet, clean and cozy. A place to relax and rest. Close to the city centre if you are walking around and also close to the Obradoiro square and the cathedral. As a curious fact, in the cafeteria of the hotel, each table has a command to warn the staff with several buttons: to ask for a drink, to ask you to bring the account and another in case you accidentally pressed one of the buttons and you want to cancel the notice. It's pretty comfortable.

Very comfortable. A quiet hotel. For me near the center you arrive 10 minutes walking. Very nice hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended. With a swimming pool.

Once I figured out how tomturn the TV language to English everything was great. Get used to ham and cheese.

I went for an act but didn't sleep at the hotel. The rooms they have and the location is great for acts. It has parking, although a little small, and bar area. Dining rooms with plenty of space. We had a drink at the entrance bar and the waitress did not emphasize for her kindness, very dry and unmotivated, but the beer was very cold and good.

Excellent place to stay. Full breakfast included. Nice quiet rooms.

I went to a wedding and had a great time, the garden where we were at the moment of the appetizers was beautiful, the banquet very well and the magnificent attention.

The attention, friendliness and disposition to please all the staff is outstanding.
The rooms need isolation for the noise, you hear the noise from the top and sides. The wood creaks a lot and you hear even creaking in the rooms next door.
The staff the best, it makes up for everything else.

El acceso al hotel es muy raro, y el aire acondicionado estaba muy alto pese a que llovia y hacia frío. Por lo demás, es un sitio magnífico, instalaciones modernas, elegante. Fui a un evento profesional, no puedo comentar las habitaciones. Comimos de picoteo y bien: variado y de calidad, pero sencillo. Me ha gustado.

An absolutely beautiful hotel with free parking inside the hotel grounds (very hard to find in Europe), free Wi-Fi (with very good speed), great rooms and suites, and, most of all, a friendly staff. A short walk to the center of historic Santiago de Compostela. This is a Marriott property with every bit of European flare. Great breakfast buffet (extra) and a patio bar.

This is one of the Marriott Hotels which used to be a Convent. Because Michael is a Platinum, we got upgraded to a gorgeous suite with a large jacuzzi bathtub and one of four rooms with a fantastic view of the Cathedral and whole Santiago de Compostela. We were going to stay only two days and ended up being six days. They comped us a Buffet Breakfast every day and it was exquisite. The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful, they helped us figure out where to go and told us which buses to take, etc. We would definitely recommend it to everyone 200%… it was an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!

Good hotel and location. Close enough to the cathedral but far enough from the hubbub. Good restaurant as well.

I started and finished my Camino here and it was perfect! Near enough to walk into the Cathedral but far from the noise and crowds of the Compostela. Dining was excellent on site and drinks on the patio perfect pampering for my blistered feet! And the beds and linen felt so luxurious after the albergues.

Incredible warmth and charm. The staff are fantastic! The food has been exceptional. Love this place and this part of the world!

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking view of the cathedral and city. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and effective. Restaurant serves only local dishes, perfectly executed.

How on earth Hotel AC Palacio del Carmen could claim as a luxury collection? The bed is uncomfortable and sinking on both edges. The breakfast is a meagre and has little choices in comparison to another 4*, let alone to a 5* hotel. The number of power points in the room are not sufficient for the current travellers with many gadgets.
I laugh it loudly to see the ironing board, a 2* hotels provide a much better ironing board. It's a toy.
My rating after considering the amenities, breakfast quality and choices vs. Price is maximum a 3*.

La comida de este sitio esta muy buena y el servicio es el mejor siempre preocupados por el cliente. Existen muy pocos restaurantes asi siempre preocupados para que a nadie le falte nada.

Location is good but not the best, the hotel service is excellent the only porblem I had was with the water temperature of the shower.

It's a privilege to stay in this hotel with the specially comfortable beds, the immaculately clean rooms, the linen, the complementary cosmetics, the view of the garden. We specially like their buffet breakfast, set in what used to be the chapel of the convent or monastery. The staff is helpful and friendly. And parking is free. Highly recommended.

Quiet area and close to the sarela River.

There is more that pass through its doors for one to give an account of the place in which it is located: An establishment of high standing", modern but keeping a traditional touch, the smallest detail counts. Dining rooms are spacious and bright. Service and dishes are outstanding. Highly recommended, but one must bear in mind that you will have to take the hand of the card.

The room was a little cramp, but very elegant. Services were empecable.

I was in the cafeteria, and I liked it, especially after made the walk along the river (highly recommended), the building, beautiful, close to the cathedral, and away from the hustle and bustle.

Great rooms. 5 minute walk from the Cathedral area. Very friendly staff (with very good English and were kind enough to let me practice my Spanish). Stayed there both before and after our walk on the Camino and it was a great hotel to bookend the trip.

I was on the boards of groups in a photography course, but I was not hosted. A beautiful building with character and an unbeatable location: close to the Cathedral and the old old, but away from the noise.
