We've been hearing about Sixto House for years, and we wanted to go and meet her. This weekend, taking advantage of a meeting with friends, we decided to order the food there. The place is a bit hidden but we found it without problems as it is very well signposted.
The house is in a typical place of the Galician rural and is full of objects that some of us remember from the village houses of our grandparents.
Joseph and Mary Joseph welcomed us with open arms. While the stew was heated in the economical kitchen, we were accompanied to Paderne, about 4 or 5 km. To buy some cheeses that they had recommended, in Granxa Cagiao, as well as some bottles of a delicious white wine made in Casa Beade.
We prepared a spectacular stew in a cozy kitchen, where we had a very pleasant afternoon in the company of the owners who make you feel at home.
In short, a place more than recommended to spend a few days or, as in our case, order a meal from friends.
We'll definitely be back.

Stunning place and equal hospitality of its owners, Pepa and José, if you seek tranquility, peace and a family treatment do not hesitate, this is the perfect place, a big hug for Pepa and jose.

The place is fabulous, per if there is one thing to highlight is the treatment of its owners, they treat you as if you were of their family and the best of the breakfast, especially if you ask Colacao.

Absolutely fantastic location, homely feel about lt, Maria and José were the perfect hosts, couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome, marvellous home cooked food, cannot recommend this place highly enough, thank you so much :-)

We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Sixto, superb organic food (figues directly from the tree). A very urban style location.
